CLAIM YOUR PROFILEThe question about timing is an excellent one which some patients take for granted. The busiest time for plastic surgeons is usually during the summer months. There are a few factors to consider before having an abdominoplaty/lipo. First, whether you have any medical problems that should be dealt with and/or the need for a medical clearance. Secondly, if the surgeon can see you and schedule soon enough. If you really don’t have medical problems and it’s a tummy tuck with minimal lipo, then I can see you usually the same week you call. We can then schedule you quickly since that procedure won’t take all day. Please make sure you are dealing with a board certified plastic surgeon.

My husband and I both had successful eyelid surgery at Gables Plastic Surgery. The whole experience - consult, surgery, follow up - was so easy. I was nervous before the procedure, but felt very calm the moment I arrived. The office is very serene and the staff is warm and caring. Dr. De La Pedraja and nurse Taryn were awesome during my procedure! They talked to me throughout and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I walked out of the office in under 1.5 hours. And best of all, there was no pain during or after the procedure! No pain, great outcome…to me that makes Dr. De La Pedraja an excellent surgeon!
If I can give a 10 starts, I would it. Dr. De La Pedraja is an expert and knowledge plastic surgeon. Super great side manners and Mercy is very attentive as well. The tummy tuck incision is so tiny. He is a truly artist in his field. Updated on 24 Apr 2021: My breast are sagging , 10 months after the breast lift. One of my breast is deformed. The nipples are visible uneven. My tummy tuck is lumpy and I have an horrible scar. My chin is sagging after the chin lipo. He wants to charge me almost the same of previously charged for a revisión. I do not known where is the 20 years of experience. Totally robbed
Excellent Doctor and person. Great staff, very caring and compassionate. Very patient and positive. He knows what he is doing and helps you emotionally and physically throughout the healing process. We were fortunately to have met him. Recommended for any procedure. It is very difficult to find such a great physician who cares and who is so humble at the same time. He took our case and did not hesitate for a minute in repair the damage someone else did. It took time and he was always reassuring and optimistic regarding the final outcome.
Amazing results and great experience! I did Botox for my first time with Dr. de la pedraja. I was really hesitant because I'm 28 years old and did not want a noticeable change. I did have a very deep wrinkle in between my brows and the top of my forehead that have been bothering me for some years. My coworker has been going to him for years and I decided to give it a shot ( no pun intended ). I called to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in with in the next couple of days. Walking into the office I was EXTREMELY nervous. I explained to the staff and they were sure to make me as comfortable as possible. I did not wait very long to be seen, maybe 5 minutes at most. Being extremely nervous it was calming that the waiting room chairs were very comfortable. When I saw the doctor he was sure to take his time to explain the process and answer my 21 questions thoroughly. I explained that I would like the most minimal amount. I was out of there with in 3 minutes and no pain, which was also one of my concerns. The results are great! I wish I would have done it sooner!!
Dr. De La Pedraja took care of me as if I were one of his own. He was very welcoming and professional. His office staff is so kind, sweet and efficient. The longest amount of time I spent there was the day of my actual surgery, which was a breast augmentation. They were very patient with my laundry list of questions and thorough with their instructions for before and after the surgery. He was recommended to me by two friends that raved about his methods. I always felt comfortable and safe with Dr. De La Pedraja. Ruby was my coordinator and I felt like she was my best friend right off the bat. She is beyond caring and patient as well. The day of surgery they were extremely accommodating with my boyfriend and comforting throughout the entire process. I was not rushed nor forced. It was a smooth transition from my first consultation to my post-op today. He even went as far as going to my home the day after my surgery to make sure I was doing well. True gem here.
