I saw Dr. Jacobs for immediate direct to implant reconstruction in July. I found Dr. Jacobs and his staff to be above and beyond caring, compassionate and knowledgeable throughout all my pre and post op visits. My reconstruction looks 100% natural, scars are completely hidden and I could not be happier with my results and the care I received. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ! It’s so hard finding the right surgeon and after my first visit with doctor Jacobs I Immediately knew he was the one ! It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all of his employees made me feel that I was in safe hands, my surgery was a success!
After being overweight most of my life I had gastric surgery in 2009 and had the lap band place in went Dow from 292 to 250. Had a lot of mishaps with the band too it out and had a revision and did the gastric sleeve two years later. My smallest weight was 179 and the weight started to creep up. Even with my new found weight lose the issues with loose skin made a lot of this uncomfortable. Even with Spanx the excess skin on my stomach would not go away nor my droopy deflated breast. I knew I needed surgery and after two years of procrastination I knew I didn't come this far in reshaping myself to be half ass. I went to a few mods to get the idea of cost . Especially in NY everything is out of control. I found a surgeon who I felt was a good match for me and he was reasonable. I got a breast lift, tummy tuck with lipo. The surgery was done in upstate ny where my MD usually performs his surgery. Facility was fine and I stayed at a new by hotel , felt like I was in a ski lodge. Any way I believe my surgery went well. I'm 6 months post op now. I've seen my Md a few times and he thinks all is good. I'm happy but I have concerns. What I thought might be fluid he thinks I just swelling. I plan to see him next month and weight things out. I really am great full to this site. It has helped me calm my fears but also inform me on what to look for and ask questions. I m glad I got my breast up and full how I always wanted. All my life they were never like that. I really enjoy them. Now my stomach the fat flap is gone and not hanging over my vagina lol but I feel it should be less flabby. I'll see what the site says that way I'll be armed with more info for my me visit.
I had a rt. breast mastectomt with immediate reconstruction. Staff and physician coukd not be more professional or kind. Eased my apprehension latest and greatest technology. I am a healhcare professional and was impressed with my interaction. The staff returns all calls promptly. The office is managed well.
I was in shock, fear and desperate until I found Dr. Jacobs and his team. I left his office with a smile on my face and ready to plan for surgery. I wish everyone facing breast surgery could have him and his team by their side. Dr. Jacobs explains every procedure clearly and he is precise and perfect. Updated on 25 Apr 2014: On 11/19/2013 I had bilateral mastectomies with DIEP Flap Reconstruction and Lymph Nodes removed. Dr. Jacobs was the head plastic surgeon who performed the reconstruction and tummy tuck procedure in my abdomen. All the scar areas were clean and precise, with no bumps or splits. I was amazed at the quality surgery because I have had previous Cesarean incisions that were stretched and crooked. Dr. Jacobs' incisions were much more precise and straight. I truly is a miracle what he performed on me. I would recommend his to anyone, including my friends and family and now you. His office in Cortlandt Manor is exquisite and clean as a whistle. Updated on 15 May 2014: I had a high calcium level reading and now have to go for more blood tests. Has anyone else have this?
Im a 56 year old women who wanted a Face/Neck lift. Im a retired civil service worker who just wanted to look better, simple as that. Dr. Jacobs does beautiful work. Dr. Jacobs and his staff are professional, kind, skilled, patient and informative. Im very happy with the outcome. I feel as fantastic as I look. I highly recommend Dr. Jacobs.
Originally went in as a joke because I knew I was going for a hysterectomy and I was going to be "opened up" anyway. Doctor Jacobs made me feel comfortable and beautiful even without the surgery. His staff is top notch and always there to listen to my complaints. I had a very bad recovery from the hysterectomy and Dr Jacobs was right there for me the entire time. I trust him 100% and have recently returned to get a breast reduction, which I had 6 weeks ago.
I've been on this site for some time looking and reading and so grateful for all of the post and pictures! I NEVER thought I'd do this but after I gave birth to my 1 and only at 41, my breasts completely changed and got bigger and way more dense - go figure! I thought for sure I'd loose them after great feeding and pumping for 15 months! Anyway my left is a full size bigger than my right (D & C) and I would just like to have some nice perky breasts so I feel better about me without having to fabricate the wardrobe! They look great in a bra and I also grateful for them being healthy!!! Just would like a pick me up (pun intended)! I'm getting ready to schedule my surgery now and I'm hoping for Friday September 29 2017 - if not then then beginning of November. I will post pics soon! Updated on 21 Sep 2017: Updated on 21 Sep 2017: Updated on 22 Sep 2017: I'm a bit nervous to bee too big and look heavier than I am! I really want to look like me in my bra! Updated on 22 Sep 2017: Updated on 22 Sep 2017: Updated on 28 Sep 2017: As nervous as I am to do this, when I look at these pictures I just can't wait to give my "girls" & MYSELF a much needed Uplift (mentally & of course physically)! Updated on 28 Sep 2017: I can't believe it's here!! So excited & nervous!! I've been thinking all the thoughts you might think when doing an elective surgery BUT after taking some pictures for my "Before" I know I'm doing the right thing for ME!! Updated on 29 Sep 2017: I'm here! It's really happening! And I'm so grateful my Super Hero Plastic Surgeon, Dr Jordon Jacobs is guiding this vessel!!! Updated on 29 Sep 2017: So grateful I'm feeling pretty damn good! I literally worked from 6:45 am to 11:00 (Hair Designer), showered and went at 12 to the surgical center for my 1:00pm surgery so I didn't have to think too much!!! After my markings I looked up and saw Dr Jordan's handsome (but most importantly) reassuring face and said "I'm just going to client se my eyes and go to a Happy Place"! And he said "Perfect... that sounds lovely Ken a great idea"! And Poof I was done! Ready for some serious R & R!!! Let the healing begin! I'll post before and after my 1st shower in 48 hours! :) Updated on 1 Oct 2017: Well I will say that yesterday was tough though the pain meds did help and I’m so grateful I didn’t have any stomach issues at all! Every time I would walk up I was so happy to realize that I actually Did It... And that made me smile!! Today I showered and was a bit nervous anticipating what was actually under there! I was happy and surprised to see that it all looks prett good - Though ironic that the smaller breast (right) is now a full size bigger!!! Im sure it’ll all even itself out but I’ll definitely be praying on that! Lol!! Updated on 2 Oct 2017: Took another nice warm shower today! Some weird pain - kind of a burning sensation under arm near where the band on the post surgical bra goes - but after I get up and lossen up & sort of move around it goes away - weird but I’m sure they’ll be some other weird events during the healing by process! Just taking g extra strength Tylenol an feeling pretty good! So grateful!!! Updated on 4 Oct 2017: Came to see my amazing PS Dr Jordon Jacobs! Says I’m healthy no uo well! Coming back next week to get stitches out! Updated on 4 Oct 2017: Here’s my stats... Updated on 11 Oct 2017: Back to see the incredible Dr Jordon Jacobs to remove some stitches and check in! All healing so well thank goodness! I feel a bit better and happier every day that I choose to do this - And most importantly with the RIGHT Plastic Surgeon!!! My breasts are still a bit swollen and need to also drop a bit more - He truly listened to everything I asked for (which was to look like myself in a bra but without (I did not want to be bigger just better!) and delivered!!! So grateful!!! Updated on 18 Oct 2017: Almost 3 weeks out and things are going really well - even statred working a little bit (hair designer) after a week! If I choose to complain it would be that the healing process can be very “itchy” and some tightness and tenderness near the incisions but hey it was a pretty major surgery! But definitely getting better every day! I’ve been wearing the surgical bra with compression band that I can home with and Dr Jacobs also gave me a (white stretchy Velcro) compression band to wear if I have a sports bra on but they were both very u comfortable especially in the beginning when everything was really tender so I’d HIGHLY recommend these finds! They’ve made a world of difference! Updated on 27 Oct 2017: I can’t believe it’s been 4 weeks already! Just got the last of my stitches out 2 days ago and after a few blister spots heal up it’s BioCorneum Scar Treatment! And I’ll also be using castor oil and coconut oil to start lightly rubbing over scars in the meantime! Updated on 12 Dec 2017: Updated on 12 Dec 2017: Just a little bummed that my areolas are quite different in size and under my left (larger breast post surgery) there’s a spot that should have been tucked in more :( Updated on 12 Dec 2017: Updated on 7 Feb 2018: Meeting with Dr Jacobs this morning to plan slight revision on my larger right areola and a maybe a possible little bit more of a lift on both breasts - feeling like they could/should be a bit more perky 5 months out (knowing that gravity is my nemisis)! Updated on 7 Feb 2018: We agreed that Dr Jacobs would do some size revisions on the areola areas but that I should wait on anything doing else. I was feeling like I have a a lot is Side Boob but he explained that as the implants are still settling in and rounding out on the bottom area that will dissipate - makes sense! AND they really look natural :) I’ll post more next Friday! Updated on 17 Feb 2018: In and out (under local anesthetic) in an hour! Fairly painless and now I’m eagerly awaiting theses next few weeks to heal up and see the great results! Updated on 4 Sep 2018: Here I am almost 1 year out with some pre & post pics - while I want to look and feel natural I’m a little sad my breasts are not more perky and/or Up if you will - also still feel like they symmetry is still off - maybe should have gone up a 1/2 size or even 1 full size - Feeling a bit incomplete but he did do what I asked and that was to look natural and like the size I was WITHOUT having to pad one side more and they are most definitely a heck of a lot less saggy - Amen!! Updated on 4 Sep 2018: I’m trying to post pics for you but having trouble - hoping this works now so you can view and please let me know what you think! Hope you are all happy and healthy pre & post surgery! Although elective I’m very happy I did it! Just not sure if I still need a tweak Updated on 4 Sep 2018: Hope these upload!! Please tell me what you think and hope you are all doing well as you review away and figure out what works best for YOU!! Says my review is too short - just trying to upload pics for y’all!! Updated on 4 Sep 2018: Trying to upload pictures for your reference and to tell me what you think! Please refer to my most recent post (pics wouldn’t upload sorry)! I’ll try again - hope they upload and I hope my story is helpful! Updated on 4 Sep 2018: PpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccccccccccssssssssssssSsssssssssssssssssssssssdddsSsssssssssssssssssssssssdddsssssssssssssssssssssssssdd Updated on 11 Sep 2018: Hopefully these pictures will load - I’m feeling like I wish they were a bit more perky and a bit fuller - I don’t LOVE them not in a bra and I really wanted to be happy with that which is a bit of a bummer - though he did a great job and they look and feel real!! Thinking about a slight revision
Met with Dr. Jacobs yesterday and it was a pleasant experience. I expressed my concerns about upper eyelid excess fat, abdominal excess fat, and axillary breast tissue. Dr. Jacobs, explained in very detailed what each procedure meant, what he thought are my problem areas, what areas he would not touch, what procedure is best for each problem area and how each procedure is done. I went in there sure that I wanted smartlipo (he does both smart and traditional lipo) but he advised me against it b/c traditional liposuction will give me the same results for a lesser price (important - not just after your money). He stated that he usually prefers smartlipo for arms and individuals with loser skin. He also stated that the difference between smart and traditional lipo is slim. I was very pleased with my consult and I look forward to his coordinators call to discuss prices. So far this is my second consultation, the first doctor did not convince me at all. I have another consultation with another doctor (that 2 of my friends had done their surgeries with) before I make a decision but I must say Dr. Jacobs was great. The only downside is that there aren't many reviews or pics about his work but he is in-deth knowledgeable about his stuff. Red flag alert - both doctors asked me what was my occupation: like what that has to do with it? Huh. I wonder if they use this information to drive up prices? Like if I make more money you charge me more? I don't know but food for thought peopl.
Hello,You have a mild dorsal hump. I think your nasal root looks okay. Options are to either rasp (shave down) the prominence or to build up the dorm just below this. It depends on what size you would like your nose to be. Rasping is certainly the easier option. Best of luck.JJ
Hi,It looks like you are lacking adequate support in the middle vault of the nose. Usually results from previous surgery or trauma. You also appear to have a septal deviation. These issues can certainly be improved with a functional rhinoplasty. Best of luck.JJ
