Guys, lol. Look no farther. If you’re on the western side of the country, travel. It’ll be worth it. And what’s crazy, is you’ll probably save money by going to the best there is. I’ve been to four or five surgeons/aestheticians before Dr. G so this isn’t my first rodeo. I found him a couple years ago when I wanted my boobs done. He was impressive from the gate— just super easy to get along with and actually gave a damn about getting you where you want to be. After my boobs, I decided to have my butt and hips revised with him. I’d had both done with two different doctors and they were a mess. I’d have people coming up to me at the gym asking me if I had implants in my butt bc they were so bad. I spent half the amount to get everything perfectly as I dreamed it, especially my hips.
My experience was fine, I'm very happy with the results, however, I wish I had chosen a female surgeon because I didn't love Dr. Gillespie's bedside manner. After the initial consultation and submitting my deposit, it seemed he had little concern about the patient experience. I was very anxious for my surgery and he showed up an hour late with Starbucks and was on the phone talking about golf which felt a bit unprofessional. I understand doctors come from other hospitals, but he was also an hour late for my post op follow up, in which he spent maybe 5 minutes with me and then rushed out to eat his lunch. I was told I would be contacted for another follow up that never happened. On a positive note, the patient coordinator was the best, extremely kind, helpful and supportive throughout the entire experience. She was always available for questions and displayed a much greater level of understanding and genuineness. Without her, I would have probably felt more negatively about my entire experience.
I had an excellent experience with a BL and tummy tuck no MR with Dr. Gillespie. Excellent relaxed bedside manner, very reassuring and comfortable communication and I had an easy and comfortable recovery. Feel free to message with any questions!!
After losing 100+ pounds through diet and exercise, I felt trapped in my body by saggy skin and constantly reminded of how heavy I was. From the first consultation, Dr. Gillespie listened to how I felt and recommended a lower body lift with FDL, arm lift and breast lift to give me the results I wanted. I'm now 2 months post op and although recovery wasn't a walk in the park, I'm so happy that my body reflects how physically fit I feel inside and what I worked so hard for! Dr. Gillespie is a true artist in listening and shaping a patients body. And he has the most amazing staff ever! What really sealed the deal for me was the ease and availability of his patient cooridinator Kathleen who answered every question I had! I'm on the fence about getting a thigh lift in the future but if I do the only place I would go is to Dr. Gillespie!
After having kids and nursing, my boobs were a little sad to say the least. They looked stretched and saggy. I wanted them to just look normal and Dr. Gillespie was so great at getting them to not only look normal but was able to give me my nursing boobs back! They look so good and they look natural like they belong to my body. It’s not obvious that I’ve had a boob job which is what I wanted. I’m so happy with them and Dr. Gillespie was so great to work with. He’s so nice and genuine.
Dr. Gillespie has the magic touch! He is so gentle , very thorough and takes the time to listen. He always answers any question I may have ( usual many). My office visits are always amazing and I couldn’t be happier with my results!!
I highly recommend Dr. Gillespie. He is a physician who takes the time to explain a procedure and answer any questions; you will not feel he is rushing you to get to his next patient. He is a competent plastic surgeon who pays close attention to aesthetics. After my surgery to replace my breast implant, both the pain ball and device used to expedite incision healing unfortunately both failed. I called his office and they fit me in to see him the first thing the following morning. Dr. Gillespie is a young physician with a warm bedside manner. There is no doubt in my mind his career will blossom.
Thank you to Dr. Gillespie for doing such a great facelift on me.... The change is just amazing and my friends and family all say I look great and many years younger. I have no more saggy neck or jowls like before, and my jawline looks really nice now. It turned out even better than I thought it would. I had the in-office facelift at Dr. Gillespie's office and I highly recommend him. He is an excellent and gifted plastic surgeon. He also made me feel comfortable throughout the whole procedure, which was basically painless. I even fell asleep during parts of it. The 10 days of healing after the procedure was a bit uncomfortable mostly due to having to wear the required compression garment around my face, but that was no surprise. When I had questions and some swelling after the surgery, Dr. Gillespie was able to quickly address it. I am very happy with my results.
Having lost about 150 lbs, I decided it was time for Abdominoplasty and thigh lift procedures. Dr. Gillespie was great with explaining the procedure and letting me know what to expect after my procedure. He was extremely informative, supportive and available when I had questions. He and his staff could not have been better suited for me. I would totally recommend the practice without hesitation. Thanks Dr. Gillespie!!!
If I could give ten stars I would! Dr. John is incredibly knowledgeable and has a very comforting bedside manner. He knew exactly what I wanted to change and explained the process from start to finish. I was very nervous the day of my procedure and he quickly eased my nerves! Post procedure he answered every question I had and 3 weeks post op, I can’t tell you how happy I am with my results! Thank you Dr. John!
Thank you for your question. The two main ways to enhance your lip are filler and autologous fat transfer. Filler is the mainstay of treatment because its easy, minimal side-effects and reversible if you dont like the results. The downside is that you have upkeep. The other way is using your own fat that is harvested by liposuction and made into very thin particles that are then injected into your lips. Fat that survives this transfer process will last forever, however, not all fat transferred may survive, leaving you with irregularities in the size and shape. It also is not reversible as with filler. Both can have amazing outcomes, but you have to weigh the risks/benefits and experience of your plastic surgeon and your own comfort, etc. Hope that helps!
Hello and thanks for the question. Neither botox, filler or laser therapy will make sure nose grow. In general, our nose grows as we age and sebaceous hyperplasia may develop to look with overal growth, especially in the nasal tip and nostril areas. Lasers can shrink many of the pores and good skin care can keep the glands from becoming clogged. from the pictures, is does look like there has been relative facial aging, as your tear trough's have increased in depth and your cheeks have descended some, which may in effect make your nose stand out more than before. Hope that helps!
Vollure is my favorite filler by far, very versatile and can be used almost anywhere with long-lasting results. In general, any filler you use close to the mouth with dissolve faster than if you used the same filler elsewhere, but in general it has given my patients great results lasting 10 months or more. Hope that helps!
Fillers and botox perform completely different roles and actions. Fillers are great to improve upon areas of volume deficiency and to ease transitions from lets say your check to your upper lip (smile lines) or from your lower eyelid to your cheek (tear trough), or to just add volume to your temples, lips or cheeks. Botox, paralyzes the muscle under the skin, therefore preventing the wrinkles from accentuating and getting worse over time. I tell my patients that filler will instantly improve areas of volume loss or deep wrinkles but they should also get botox to prevent the root cause of those wrinkles. They can be done at the same time and in the same location safely and effectively. Hope that helps!
Simply put, you dont know how your body with metabolize the product until you try it. However, the average duration I have seen and heard from my patients are 3 months minimum and up to 6 months. During this time there will be a gentle return to baseline state (wrinkles before botox), so I recommend touch-up treatments every 4 months or so and not wait until it goes away completely. Hope this helps!
