Looking to connect w others in similar situation. After breastfeeding 4 children, I’m now in my 40’s scheduled to have a breast augmentation to go from 32A back to 32/34 C. Excited to connect and follow along w others in similar boat. Updated on 28 Oct 2021: Reading others stories and updates is helping a lot! Super nervous and anxious… I have moments that I question if I’m making the right decision… then moments that I am so happy that I’m finally doing something for me! Updated on 11 Nov 2021: Everything went smoothly per the surgeon. Went with 300cc high profile mentors under the muscle, inframmary incision. I woke up with a lot of nausea and pain but that quickly subsided when they administered meds in my IV. Ride home was t bad at all - had a pillow for my arms, which was super helpful. At home resting now. Can’t wait to see them!!! Updated on 11 Nov 2021: Everything went smoothly per the surgeon. Went with 300cc high profile mentors under the muscle, inframmary incision. Was expecting the first reveal to look a bit scary for some reason, but am pleasantly surprised. Updated on 12 Nov 2021: Dr Castle has a fantastic bed-side manner, very knowledgeable and experienced. Had an amazing experience w him and his team from start to finish. Would highly recommend him and his team to others. Very satisfied. Updated on 13 Nov 2021: Sleeping has been ROUGH. I’m a side/belly sleeper… so getting used to sleeping propped up on my back has been a challenge. I find that a wedge behind me and two large pillows on my sides for my arms to rest on feels the best and keeps me from rolling over to my side as I normally do. Pain is tolerable when keeping up w the meds (oxy every 6-8 hours still and Tylenol every 6) It’s been hard not to do housework and I think I overdid it yesterday w laundry and dishes. Just showered first time since procedure and that felt amazing. Didn’t wash my hair though as lifting my arms up to scrub my head was too much - so dry shampoo it is for a few more days! Updated on 14 Nov 2021: Was nauseous the majority of the day yesterday, which was awful. I think I may have done too much the previous day w laundry and dishes - hard not to do anything w 4 kiddos! Still didn’t sleep well - waking for meds every 4-6 hours. Showered and was able to wash my hair for first time since surgery and that felt amazing. Made it to church w the family and to our family Sunday dinner - chose a sweater that hid everything well and no one noticed at all. I haven’t told many people at all - including close family. However, replacing all the padding I was using w the implants isn’t that big of a difference w a baggy shirt/sweater on, which I love. I was going for a natural look like I had before breast feeding the kids, and I’m so happy about the results thus far! Updated on 16 Nov 2021: Am totally off the heavy duty pain meds (oxy) and just on Tylenol for the last 24 hours. Sleeping was tough… called doc to see if I can maybe just get a few nights of sleeps meds to help for now. During the day I’m fine. Struggling not to exercise at all, as my mental health relies on it. Hoping to at least be able to walk a few miles a day soon. Will have to wait until my first followup this Friday. Tried on a few dresses and tops without padding today and LOVE the feeling and look. Updated on 17 Nov 2021: Feeling much better today after a decent night of sleep. Other than a pretty constant tightness in my left breast at the top left, feeling somewhat normal finally! Tried on a few old bathing suits today and loved how they fill the tops now with no padding at all. Such a crazy feeling. Feeling great about how they are looking. Can’t wait for first post op appt on Friday to see what I am clearer to do. Getting antsy being home.
Love my results with Dr. Castle! He is very kind, professional and amazing doctor! I felt very comfortable with him and would recommend him 100%!!! He is just awesome! I had DDD cup after breastfeeding 4 kids and he just did his magic. Recovery wasn't so bad - now I'm 6 weeks post op and feeling amazing. when I called the office about the scar treatment (if they have any), the doctor was the one who called me back showing his sincere concerns and how he can help. I was amazed by his approach. And very happy w my results
Amazing job. I'm really happy with the outcome. I had a breast reduction and liposuction. The liposuction could have take little more fat, but still great. I think he is better with the breast reduction. Overall I'm happy with my results.
My expectations was to come out of the surgery looking normal, whole and feeling healthier. Dr. Castle's work far exceeded my expectations. He is a sweetheart. The procedure, explanation, and went extremely smooth. The results ended up being flawless, and I was kept comfortable from beginning to end. Updated on 14 Jan 2016: If anybody ever tells you that they want to get implants. Found myself in excruciating pain after 19 years rock hard breasts couldn't sleep on my stomach and began having serious autoimmune disease problems. I was very skeptical as to what the results would be and how much pain I would be in. After speaking with dr. Castle telling him what my expectations were he more than exceeded to create in sculpt breasts that would look normal when otherwise they would have been nothing. Io Dr Castle a great big thank you. I have read a few of the other reviews on him that was not so favorable. Upon rereading those reviews it's possible that the issue may have been with the problem itself. Example of the hundred fifty pound of weight loss at the early age of 26 May have been an unrealistic expectation given to D. Because I hadn't absolute positive experience with him. The only issue I ever had was what with his front office staff not calling back in acting a bit immature. Call me spa speaking to Dr Castle about it he was completely unaware. Because I had an absolute positive experience with him. The only issue I ever had was what with his front office staff not calling back in acting a immature. Upon speaking to Dr Castle regarding the issue it was unfortunate he had had no knowledge of their behavior ended speak with them immature. Upon speaking to Dr Castle regarding the issue it was unfortunate he had had no knowledge of their behavior and did speak with them. Their behavior no way should reflect on the doctors performance or capability. I would recomnend Dr Castle without any hesitation and only praise.
After five children, I had gained weight in my lower midsection. I also had a significant incisional hernia and two cesarean sections. My surgeon recommended Dr. Castle as a cosmetic partner in my hernia surgery. I had over eight pounds of skin and tissue removed and a mesh repair for the hernia. I will say that this surgery was a struggle. I was warned that I would experience a long recovery and it really has been. But, I feel so much better now and so much less conscious of my midsection. Updated on 11 Sep 2015: Three months later.
After children and breast cancer 10 years ago, my breasts had taken a beating :( In 2008 I decided to have my breasts lifted. I would have liked to have implants as well. However, since I had radiation on the right breast, all the doctors discouraged me from doing this. After the surgery, and even though my breast were now smaller, about a b cup, overall I was very happy with outcome. However, my left breast was always a little larger. But, since the nipples were lined up, they looked pretty good. With age (8 years) and due to the radiated breast not falling from gravity, my breasts became more and more uneven. Last spring I went back to the same doctor and asked about using fat transfer to correct this. He said that we could definitely do this and I was a good candidate for success. Dr. Castle, practicing in Worcester, MA area, did my surgery on Sept. 11th, just a few days ago. The liposuction part is wonderful! Unfortunately, my breasts are still uneven...however a bit larger. I am disappointed because I have been looking forward to this for years and now even though my body shape looks better; my breasts still need work, in my opinion. Is it too soon? I can't imagine that the right breast, which is the radiated one, will fall to match the other. And, what is going to happen when I lose some of the volume of fat that has been transferred? I wonder if I was hoping for too much thinking that the fat transfer could fix the lack of asymmetry...opinions and professional comments are welcome. I would even like some referrals in my area, MA. Thank you for reading my story and appreciate any input you have for me. Updated on 14 Sep 2014: As usual I might be too quick to judge the outcome. Today, just 3 days post op, my right breast seems to be dropping. It may just end up lining up nicely with the other breast. I will continue to update. And will definitely update my review of Dr. Castle if that is the case. Updated on 26 Sep 2014: My right breast is dropping more. When I visited the office for my 1 week appt. I was told that it would take approx. 4 weeks for the breast to release. The doctor had to go in and break up much scar tissue. I am actually at 2 weeks plus now, but these pics are the most recent I have. I am happier today than I was at first. Although, I wish that the doctor would have filled a little more in on my left breast to give it a plumper look. I was told yesterday, by the doc, that he gave me as much fat into my right breast as it would handle, about 220 ccs. I believe that if you want to get a larger amount of volume using breast transfer you need to go with the BRAVA procedure so you can have room to transfer more fat. I also didn't realize that I should have lost fat over the summer instead of gaining weight, thinking I wouldn't have enough fat to transfer. How silly of me. Now, I have to be careful to not loose weight because I will lose fat that was put in my breast. A bit of a fine line. Updated on 20 Oct 2014: This is between 4 and 5 weeks post op. In one, my arms are reaching out to hold the camera, my breasts look more even. However, if you look at the other, they are still lacking symmetry. The lipo part, especially for the upper abdomen and the flanks is very pleasing.
I had lost 150+ pounds after the birth of my twins and was suffering from excess skin of the abdomen. So December last year I went in to have a full tummy tuck, a week after I realized things still were not okay. I had excess sagging skin to my abdomen almost immediately. Since last year he half-assed procedures to try and fix the original mix up but was not willing to fix the problem at hand.
Working out at gym 3-4 days weekly for 3 years...had roux en y bariatric surgery...still cant get rid of belly fat..insurance approved panni in a week due to year long abdominal rashes...super excited! !!! Countdown has begun...6 weeks!!! Ive been wanting a flat stomach my whole life. .ive been working very hard to maintain weight loss via lifestyle changes. .i would definitely recommend bariatric surgery.
