I just had my first treatment with the Harmony Pixel Laser at my Dermatologists office. I researched these Laser treatments to death. I went to see 3 different Dermatologists and 2 Plastic surgeons. I am an Information junkie.... First of all, The treatments are not painful at all. I know this is subjective, but in my case no pain. I was prepped prior with a good washing and given goggles and a squishy ball for stress relief:) It lasted all of 30 minutes. The post healing mixture of White vinegar and H2O seems to calm the skin. Vinegar is a wonder drug...Aquaphor to heal. I look forward to future treatments as my SKIN TYPE we believe will show noticeable improvement after only 1 or 2 treatments. I am scheduled for 5 treatments 3 weeks apart. Only annoying thing is that you have to avoid the sun for 3 days and I live in Florida.. hard to do,but possible. I found in today's world you never have to leave the house.. Hope to post pictures after the treatments. The Med asst took pictures beforehand. So far so good stay tuned...
Wanted to look better, without looking 'overtreated', I got very natural results
Sclerotherapy treatments depend on a few things such as the area of the country you live in and the number of spider veins to be treated. In bigger cities such as LA or NY the treatments can be pricey. I would say the national average cost is $250 to $500 per half hour session. If the veins are confined to a few areas both legs could be treated in a half hour. Remember that it takes on average 2 to 4 half hour sessions to adequately treat the vessels. So you are looking at a range of $500-$2000. As with any dermatologic condition or cosmetic procedure it is always advised to consult a dermatologist to examine the veins and discuss any risks or costs.
