Had my SmartLipo consult today with Dr. Tony. He went over the technique he used to eliminate any excess fat while also ensuring he doesn’t create any hard spots or uneven areas. Very impressed and decided to move forward with treatment. Updated on 20 Nov 2020: Today was the big day!! Got there at 830 to prep for procedure. Took about 3 hrs to do. There is some pinching and stinging when they are putting in the fluid that separates the skin and fat layers. Once all the fluid was in and everything was numb, he began removing the fat. That part is pain free and a couple of times I almost dozed off. I would say I got about 800 cc of fat sucked out. Updated on 21 Nov 2020: So definitely more soreness today than yesterday. I’ve changed the dressings twice. Noticed bruising but I know that’s normal. Staying my the compression garment 24/7 for now. A little concerned about the lumps I feel on my abdomen. Hoping they will flatten out. Updated on 3 Dec 2020: Tomorrow makes 2 weeks post op. I’ve had one lymphatic drainage massage and I have 2 scheduled for next week. Got lumps and bumps Im concerned about. Hopefully they will go away as time passes. I know they say final results won’t show until 6+ months. Updated on 15 Apr 2021: So this month makes 6 months sense I got smart lipo with Dr. Tony. I’m not happy at all. Before I got smart lipo I was self conscious about my stomach. Wearing a bikini would make me feel uncomfortable. Now my stomach is deformed and I won’t ever confidently wear a bikini. I’m working out daily and keeping my nutrition in check. But no matter what I do my stomach will always looks deformed. I wish I had never done smart lipo.
