40 year old woman here. At my lowest adult weight of 112 or my current highest weight 176, I have had a fat bulge under my butt on the right leg. It is a fat saddle bag area and I hate it. So I went for coolsculpting. The doctor took pictures from all angles. Then they put a foam border around the area. They wiped it with an antifreeze wipe and then put a cloth like thing with gel over the area. The applicator went on and felt fine. The machine went on and I could see the timer. After about 3 or 4 minutes I felt extreme cold in the area but I was distracted making conversation with my nurse. By 10 minutes it was numb and didn't bother me. The worst part is I had to pee even though I had done so right before. They said that's a common problem with the cold in that area. So I would recommend have no liquids that day unless you are comfortable peeing lying down which I just couldn't do. Other than that it was fine. This particular doctor had me do an oxygen treatment after to reduce swelling. Included also after that was a radio frequency heat treatment over the area and my legs to help melt fat and reduce cellulite. The actual coolsculpting process was one hour and 15 minutes.
Dr. Goodnight is probably the best doctor I have met in a long time. He is extremely knowledgeable, up to date on cutting edge technology, extremely intelligent and he honestly cares about the happiness of his patients. He takes the time so make any recommendations, and yet does not push you to do anything you aren't ready for. He is also one of the nicest, warm, and easy going doctors I've having had the pleasure of being treated by. I was so happy with my experience at his office, that I promised both myself and Dr. Goodnight that I will without a shadow of a doubt come back to his office when I decide the next thing I would like to do. He is the absolute best and I'm so lucky to have found him while searching reviews of doctors in the area. You will not be let down, only very pleasantly surprised. He also makes you feel immediately comfortable. We talked all throughout my procedure, which also helped me be comfortable and he is a great doctor to speak with on questions you might have of any cosmetic procedure out there. If I could give him 10 stars out of twenty, then that would be a more accurate account of my appointment.
I was so happy with the results. And it lasted for years. Just recently I added fillers under my eyes and to fill my lips. I am now 56 and mistaken for my late thirties. This is great for my self esteem as well as being in the work force. I am not treated like an equal instead of an antiquated older being which happens far to much in this time and age. Updated on 19 May 2015: I feel great about myself. Dr Goodnight is an awesome Plastic Surgeon Updated on 19 May 2015:
I could not be more happy with the results. I look years younger and more refreshed! The procedure was little down time and minimally invasive. the procedure took about 2 hours total under local anesthesia. Oxygen therapy sessions was preformed to help the expidite the healing process. The entire procedure was easier than anticipated.
The procedure was painless and post op results were minimal swelling and bruising. The result were great! I looked refreshed and decreased in aged by avour 10 years! I am very happy with the results and would recommend Dr Goodnight to anyone who wants to look and feel youthful! He is very down to earth and his staff is very friendly and helpful. Updated on 13 Nov 2014: Dr Goodnight did a fabulous job transferring fat from my thigh to my face. It has been over a year and my face still looks youthful (about 7-10 years younger). This was definitely a worth while investment! I look youthful and feel young. The pic I am attaching is this month being 55 1/2 years. I am very happy with the Results Dr Goodnight did for me.
I went to Dr. James Goodnight for botox treatment. I was very much overdue yet this was my 3 rd time getting botox ever and the best experience so far. I had dysport and botox previously and the results was ok especially with dysport. This time Dr. Goodnight suggested I try something new and I decided to listen to him and we use Xeomin , like botox or dysport but newer product .The results are amazing I had my eyes , 11's and forehead done with 50 units total and I'm 37 but there is not a single wrinkle on my face now , I love the refreshed look . Most importantly there are no droopy eyes, no evil eyebrows and the injections were so quick Dr. Goodnight has an amazing no pain at all technique . And the price was very reasonable and not a groupon that takes 50 % I suggested everyone call the office where groupon is offered and ask if they match the price if you buy from them .

I went to see Dr. Goodnight for a deviated septum and to help breath better.
I don't like to give bad reviews, but I will not lie and have anyone else suffer the same. I began with laser hair removal, which was great. Then moved on to SmartLipo, recommended by Dr Goodnight. I cannot even express my disappointment, dissatisfaction and concern with the unprofessional response from the Dr and his staff included. The procedure itself was awkward, and afterward, I was rushed out of the office. 2-days later, I called to ask a few questions, since NO ONE had reached out to me to see if I was ok!? (common medical practice to call within 24hrs to check on a patient after a procedure). I was told that Dr Goodnight was busy at the moment, would I like to call him back later? I asked if he can call me back when available, as I have questions about the scars and medication afterward to help with the healing? I was told quite frankly, "the Dr is busy and he doesn't call anyone back, you'll have to call him back later if you want to". Are you kidding me? It's been months and no one ever called me to check up on my well being, to ask about the results of the procedure, to schedule follow up visits for results and progress of the procedure. Nothing!! I cannot express in words how this experience made me feel personally and with such a financial investment. I cannot believe that he is in business and allowed to continue his practice. I hope no one else ever goes through this same experience. I lost $2,300 CASH (nothing covered by insurance) for a procedure that only produced Scars and nothing more!
Warning for those going for hair removal!! His lasers can and will burn. I was left horribly disfigured by his hair removal laser and was burnt over a huge area of my body. Had numbing cream on at the time so did not feel it while it was happening. He was apologetic but I am now left with disgusting scars.
I would first perform 3D computer imaging of your face and show you how you could look with a finer nasal tip that is rotated slightly upward. Then I would show you how you could look by doing additional work on your small bony hump. You could then make an educated decision on what you really like. The surgery is performed asleep in the OR, as a closed rhinoplasty with minimal downtime if only the tip is done, or a cast for 5 days and a few weeks of mild swelling if the bony hump is also worked on.
You are a beautiful woman, but that just makes it easier for me to make you gorgeous. Your eyes are pretty but they are surrounded by so little soft tissue that I can almost see the hollows of your skull. Fat transfer all around your eyes would correct that, but it might have to be done twice to make them absolutely gorgeous as the upper lid crease is way too deep especially medially (nose side) and less of the transferred fat lives in areas that move a lot. The wrinkles around your mouth can be corrected with fat transfer to your lips and around your mouth but you should wait for the Juvederm to dissolve. Fat transfer to your temples and upper cheeks will add soft tissue to soften the drop around your beautiful cheek bones. Your nose is best corrected with a composite graft from your ear of a tiny piece of cartilage and skin sewn to the inner aspect of your nostril where it is retracted upwards.
Your looking at uneven swelling as there is likely a suture pulling on the lower lid muscle preventing that area from swelling which causes the line. The hollow may just be due to sweling above and below this pulled area. The stitches melt or pull through so the pulling softens and the swelling will resolve over the next month. If hollows persist after blepharoplasty then they were likely there before, they just become more obvious when the bags are removed. I fix that with fat transfer done under local anesthesia with a very fine blunt cannula to inject it in. As is the case with most people, you were more hollow on the left on your before photo. I often do the fat transfer first so that patients never see, nor worry about the hollowing under the eyes.
