Had average size breast, really, on the small side....just wanted to look good in clothes and a bathing suit. I knew my breasts were too small, after alot of thought I decided to do it. I'm very happy I did this. I love my breasts. I get compliments alot. Especially when wearing a bathing suit, they look extremely natural. I feel like my clothes fit better, although now I'm in a medium not a small, because of my breasts. Its worth it. It has been over 15 years since I got them. I got 350cc with a bra size of 36a, now I wear 36c. Do some research on your doctor. Make sure he has done alot of the procedure you are having done. Experience replaces all the knowledge that you have. Ask around about different doctors, ask about your doctors credentials, just make sure he has alot of experience performing breast augmentation. Have you seen pictures of horrible boob jobs? Well that could be you. Just make sure you choose your doctor wisely.
I had my breast done over 20 years ago, I had the money to just write a check for them. I spent all day in the hospital yesterday because I found a lump, turns out one of them is leaking.. I find myself without the money to take them out and replace them. I will have them replaced no doubt I love being 50 with 20 year old [RS bleep], Just make sure when you have them done to save the money to replace them "K"
I had rhinoplasty done. I'm thrilled with the results. I had a huge tip and bump. Although there is still swelling, It looks great! Everything my doctor said would happen...There were no loop holes.I'm still having aches and pains 2 mths after my rhioplasty. In the morning it's the worse. It's very swollen, stiif and sometimes painful. If I nudge it the wrong way it hurst. How long after rhinoplasty will all pain and stiffness subside?
Dr. Baker's staff is amazing, as is his demeanor and bedside manner. My issue is he told me what I wanted to hear, not what I needed to hear, and am left (a year later) with saggy breasts and in need of additional procedures. I am 32 years old with 1 child, who is 5 yes old. My breasts have fluctuated in the past from large D/DD, to B, back to DD while pregnant and nursed back down to a B. They were deflated to say the least. I began searching for surgeons for implants and had consults with 4, including dr. Baker. 3 told me I needed a lift (recommended) or large implants to fill the space/skin. I was hesitant about the lift because of the scaring, so when Dr. Baker said I didn't need one, that an implant on top of the muscle would do just fine; that I shouldn't mess up my breast with the lift, was exactly what I wanted to hear. I tried the implants in my bra to get a size, and Dr. Baker assured me the size I chose would fill the space fine, and said I had enough breast tissue to cover the implant when placed on top of the muscle. My surgery went well, I healed well, and while I wished right away I had gone a tad bigger, I was satisfied with my breasts. Then they began to settle.... and settled more... and kept settling... now, when I lay on my back they slip into my armpit. When I bend over, the implant nearly does a flip in the excess skin and looks horrible. I am an avid crossfitter and can no longer wear tank tops in fear my breasts will pop out of my bra/tank top, which my a girl-friend of mine said she was nervous would happen when I was doing handstand push ups. I went back at my year check up to discuss some of my issues. He said they were fine, you don't need/want perfect. I asked to show him some pictures, because I was embarrassed, which he refused to look at and seemed to get defensive. He said I chose the size, and that I could go bigger any time I wanted to. I asked about getting a lift and come to find out... he doesn't do that procedure at all. I was upset, to say the least, in his unwillingness to address my concerns. And here I am in search of another doctor to do the lift AND new implants. It was a waste of my money, which I suppose is my own fault for not knowing better, but at the same time I feel he, as this being his specialty, should have candid and realistic conversations about the results.. not just what the patient wants to hear.
I initially was pleased with the results, and used an experienced plastic surgeon. It was even injected near the eyes for hollows, and I never had lumps. HOWEVER, I also used it around the mouth to chin area for marionette lines. The first 3 to 4 injections went smoothly, and it was a very gradual process. Then, after going in for a 'touch up', the bottom half of my face just continued to grow out of control. It is very bottom heavy, and when I smile, my face looks stuffed, similar to a chipmunk. I was assured it would go down but it has been THREE YEARS! I tried kenalog and 5 FU injections, which left dents in my face, as it starts to eat your own collagen. I ended up have to use Juvederm to fill in the dents. It is very UNPREDICTABLE, and the vicious cycle I described above will leave you miserable every time you look in the mirror. There are plenty of other fillers to choose from, and you never know if you will be one of the 'unlucky' ones....
I have been using botox for 10 years with great and lasting effects..tried Dysport a couple of months ago..had to go back in 10 days for another injection ..none of it even lasted 5 weeks!! Very disappointing! Won't use it ever again! My Doctor said it was a bit cheaper and had a rebate offer..so I thought "why not"..now I wish I had my money back for a Botox treatment! I would gladly pay more for longer and better effect!
Hello! I have been browsing this site for weeks as my surgery approaches. I have decided on 340cc in each breast and to have my inverted nipples corrected. I was really torn on getting my nipples done, I was very self conscious when I as younger but as an adult I am comfortable with them and a little nervous about the change. Hopefully my surgery gives my breasts more fullness throughout and allows me to go braless again! Currently, I am a b cup and will go to either a full c or small d. My surgery is on Thursday, I am very excited and nervous! Thank you to all the ladies before me that have posted to ease the nerves of women about to have surgery. :) Updated on 1 Aug 2017: Here are some before photos in unpadded (size small) tops. Updated on 3 Aug 2017: So nervous! Also excited. But very, very nervous. Updated on 3 Aug 2017: Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. However, the numbness is starting to wear off. We will see! This is the best picture I could take. Updated on 17 Sep 2017: They have healed so quickly and look so natural. Happy with my choice!
Your nipple appears to be above the crease. You should do very well with just an implant. In over 13,500 implants I've implanted over the past 44 years, when the nipple is at or above the crease, you will be very pleased. And remember, it's your body. You never have to have a lift if you don't like the scars from same, or the cost. A lift can always be done at a later date, with an implant in place if indicated.James L. Baker, Jr, MD
