Hi, Bruising after dermal filler injections is very common, even in most skilled hands. It is very important to take detailed medical history including use of drugs which can cause bruising like aspirin, warfarin and to stop for few days depending on the medical condition and keeping in view the risks and benefits ratio.I use ice packs before and after the procedure and keep client in clinic for observation for 40mins to an hour. Detailed post procedure instructions including avoiding any excessive physical activity can be of benefit. Most of the bruising resolves in few days but it is good idea to see client asap to minimize risk of haematoma formation.
