I had a blepharoplasty by Dr. Leyngold six years ago. I had really droopy lids and wanted to have normal lids again. He didn't do the marking or anything. Instead he cut a line so close to the eyelash line, about 3/8", that made my lids look like chimpanzee lids. It still looks like that, with big puffy lids above. It is heartbreaking every time I look in the mirror. Every. Time. Six years later and it still breaks my heart.
