QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Yes. PRP would be beneficial, but I would also recommend mesotherapy in order to increase the skin cells quality. Collagen is good for overall skin quality, if you're really unhappy with the hollows, different types of cosmetic treatments would be recommended such as hyaluronic acid.

The answer would be subjective, and unique for every person. Each person has different capacity of donor hair, and usually patients do not prefer undergoing various hair transplants because of obvious reasons. However, if you've got a really good donor area, I suppose you could have 3-4 FUTs, or 3-4 FUEs, but the number of grafts extracted from your donor area would be lower gradually, as the capacity will be decreasing after each transplant. Last 2 hair transplants can be touch-ups where small amount of grafts are extracted to increase the density slightly.

Will PRP work for my hair? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

According to my experience, I don't think you would get a big benefit from PRP sessions. It might increase the thickness of your existing hair, but in the picture it looks it lacks density. In order to provide more density, hair transplant would be the solution. Your thin hair could get benefit, and if you have a current hair loss, it can help slow down your hair loss as well. But PRP treatment does not play a big role in increasing the density.

Hope this has been helpful,

Hello,

Your donor area seems quite thick and it has good density. But on the other hand, your recipient area is quite wide. Normally for a full coverage with decent density, we would recommend two sessions, becaue the survival rate of the implanted grafts is lower in the crown area due to blood circulation irregularity. But if you really are not keen on doing two sessions of hair transplant, in one session we could maximize the graft amount which would be roughly 4000-4200 grafts. This would get you a pretty satisfying result, but your crown area would be thinner than your frontal area. As it is inevitable.

Hope it makes sense to you,
Thanks

Hello,

As you're looking to lower your hairline. You are for sure a good candidate for hair transplant. You would need approximately 2000-2250 grafts, thinner grafts with single or double grafts. Hairline design for women is trickier than men, because of the facial structure. We would design it in the clinic before the procedure and try different options.

Hi,

Your recipient area is wide, but you've got a good density in the donor area. In order to provide a whole coverage with high density, we would recommend 2 sessions. But depending on your expectation, with one session of maximum grafts, you can achieve a good result as well. Think on the frontal area, relatively less density in the crown area. As you may already know, the survival rate of the implanted grafts is lower in the crown area because of lack of blood circulation. Approximately in one sitting we would be able to extract around 4000grafts, which would provide us with a really satisfying result.

Hope this's been helpful,
Regards

The answer would be yes. Although the survival rate of the implanted grafts in the scars is lower, you can get growth there and you can cover your scar. This is a very common problem and it can be solved easily. You would not need too many grafts there, as it is a small area.

Hope this has been helpful.

Second Hair transplant- shock loss question

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Basically, yes they can experience shock loss too, even though they are transplanted. Shock loss is caused by physical trauma made in the area of transplantation. It basically indirectly damages the area and might block or decrease the blood circulation. Therefore, your transplanted hair could get shock loss as well. Do not panic, they'll grow back. And please keep in mind that, it "can" happen. Maybe you won't have any shock loss at all, it is up to the reaction of your body.

Thanks!

Hi, this is actually completely up to you. It is really hard to foresee how your hairloss will continue in the future. It seems that you're receding especially in the temple areas. But this might stop as well. We would recommend to follow closely your hair loss for a couple of years to see how it evolves. If you're not happy with the appearance, you can opt for hair transplant for sure. But it is a little early to be worried.

Have a good one!

Hello, your actual condition is very suitable for hair transplant, as your recipient area is not so wide, nor you have an extended hair loss. It is a fact that african american hair transplant is relatively difficult, because the hair is curled inside the skin as well. This makes extraction harder, because extraction punches are straight, while the hair is curved. It needs a true expertise. You would need approximately 2500 grafts in order to have a good result with enough density. One advantage of african american hair is that as it is wavy or curly, it occupies more surface on the scalp, which allows it to cover more space. Straight and fine hair looks weak, while african american hair can provide more coverage with less amount of grafts. Hope this has been helpful.

Thank you!

By far one of the best in Turkey— I would definitely recommend Dr. Celen!

Very professional and very attentive to my expectations. I felt reassured when I met Dr. Celen on the day of the surgery and her team made me feel I was in good hands. The technicians made me feel I was in good hands throughout the whole procedure. Most importantly communications between Berat (the clinic’s advisor) and I before the surgery, encouraged me as well. He answered all my questions in a thorough manner and very responsive to the multitude of inquiries I had. Furthermore, I never felt pressured by him to book a date like so many others tried to do. I would definitely recommend Dr. Celen because of the clinic’s standards and her qualifications.
