This review is for Viva which I just had done at Dr. Lancer's office however, while I await the final result, based on results from other things he's done to me, I'm looking forward to it! However, he has been been godsend in helping me dissolve the fat that was stuffed into my face by another Docter. I had a gorgeous chiseled face naturally and after a ps recommended I get fat transfer to remain "youthful", the shape of my face changed completely... Dr. Lancer has been helping get me back and he's worked wonders. I look prettier and prettier each visit. He has restored my self esteem & I love him for that!
I could only afford to have my forehead done and intend to do my whole face and neck someday. My formerly drooping eye lids are now noticably lifted after three months. Wow...does it hurt!!! I had a Valium and a Xanax but still winced from the pain. With the results though, I'd do it again. So worth it! This is not a procedure to skimp or get a deal on. I went to the very best doctor because that's the results I wanted. To sum it up, this procedure is the most natural lift you can give yourself.
Dr. Lancer did in one week what other doctors couldn't do in over a year. In 2010 I had two laser treatments on my face for melasma. These treatments cause severe hyperpigmentation, skin dehydration, enlarged pores, and texture shifts in my skin. I went to a couple of doctors to try to correct the problem, but they never could. I was beyond depressed and at my wits end. I began researching top dermatologist in the US. I found several other well known and/or renowned dermatologist. Some of these dermatologist are even in the same area as Dr. Lancer; however, after everything I read, I ultimately decided to go with him and felt if he couldn't fix my skin then no one could. I've suffered with skin problems since I was a teen. I have been to a lot of dermatologist and spent thousands on skin care and treatments over the years. One would think I should have perfect skin at this point, but I don't. So I flew 2000 miles to see Dr Lancer, and while I have seen reports that some of his patients fly from Europe to see him, I am not rich, but instead desperate to find someone who could help correct my problems. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, so when I first entered his office I felt out of place. His office is in upscale Beverly Hills, California, and it seems like a lot of his patients are in the entertainment industry. But he and his staff made me feel confortable when I met them. Dr. Lancer listened to my concerns and asked a lot of questions on the history of my skin. No doctor has ever been that thorough. Dr. Lancer put me on a topical skin care regime using mostly his own line of products and a couple of prescription ones. By the way, I have used a lot of different products over the years, including some medically dispensed one. His products are by far the best I have used. I have followed the regime including the diet recommendations of his staff, and my skin is finally back on track. In fact, it looked a lot better after only a week. I was amazed with the results, especially since I was told I was "the trickiest patient" at one doctor's office I went to. I am convinced that I couldn't have made a better choice, and if I had found him sooner I would have saved myself time, money, and suffering. As long as it is within my financial means I will continue to travel to see Dr. Lancer for my skin care.
Botox is an injectable neuro-toxin derived from a purified form of botulinum toxin type A. Only a very minute/nanogram is actually used in Botox. Hyaluronic Acid is one of the main ingredient used in Juvederm, Restylane, and Perlane. This is found naturally in the body in the joints.
It's more than okay to get a peel after dermabrasion, to determine what kind of chemical peel to get done would be best decided by getting evaluated by a Board certified Dermatologist.
I would proceed with caution, although it's perfectly okay to get a chemical peel at 71, just be weary that if you have thin skin, it may be too much. Just make sure you work with someone who is experienced with fair skin and rosacea.
While you may be able to get injectables by someone other than a doctor, I would highly recommend finding someone who is at least licensed and well trained on how to properly inject fillers. Definitely do some research before hand.
Sometimes ultrasound treatments can be used to soften these unfortunate side effects.
