Doctor Holland has been wonderful during my whole experience with my concerns and issues with implants, explant procedure, capsulectomy and so on. He is patient, kind and knowledgeable! He helped me to understand as well as trust that I made the right choices for myself! Thank you! His staff was equally amazing!
After losing 45 pounds that i have kept off for 18 months i decided to undergo an Abdominoplasty with Liposuction. I am 12 days post-op and absolutely thrilled with my results. Drains removed today with ease. I have some swelling still but this is to be expected. I have had minimal pain, my incision looks great and am excited to see how I transform over the next several weeks. Thrilled with how i look already!! He is attentive, gives realistic expectations and tells you what to expect every step of the way. Great office staff willing and happy to answer any questions you have. Highly respected by his colleagues with other physicians quick to refer to him. I would recommend without hesitation and will go back for any other cosmetic needs.
From my very 1st appointment I loved him! He took all kinds of time with me and never rushed me. He answered every question in detail and was funny! He made my husband and I feel very comfortable. My husband and I talked about doing a breast lift and implants at the same time and he explained in detail why we should do them separate and said that after I see my own breast tissue in the lift that I might not want implants. He told us that even though I look "flat".... I had plenty of breast tissue and once he lifted them I would be about a C which was fine with me. He was SOOOO right! Having a NICE scar was a HUGE factor for my and he said he would make mine beautiful and that he did!!! I couldn't be happier!! Dr Holland has great bedside manners and I will go to him for anything I may have done in the future!!
I couldn't be happier!! After seeing some of the recovery pics on the internet....mine look FABULOUS!! At 5'7" my peak was 248 lbs & in 2 years I got down to 176 on my own. No gimmicks, fad diets, & no surgeries. Just clean healthy eating & a little exercise. My skin became very saggy & I had what I called a "Flap" removed! I haven't been this flat in my stomach since I was 13!! Dr Holland was WONDERFUL! He even held my hand when I was being put under! How Sweet! I had my drain tubes removed about 12 days post-op! I am 17 days post op & I'm finding that I tend to overdo it everyday cuz I feel SO great & then I regret it about 4pm through till the next morning. My Swell Hell starts around then also! The more I overdo it the more I swell! Avoid ALL carbonated drinks, salty foods, & bad carbs! This will help keep down the swelling!! Drink LOTS of waters & take at least one dose of MiraLax everyday! My 1st BM was 7 days post-op cuz I wasn't taking any stool softners & I thought I was going to die! I was shaking, afraid to push, & sweating! It was AWWFUL! TRUST ME, take any stool softener! I clean & treat my incisions everyday w/ a sterile foam soap from the hospital & Mederma scar treatment. I will keep up on posting and pics! Wishing you ALL the BEST!!
In my experience this is from diastasis of the rectus muscles caused by stretching of the abdominal fascia. An abdominoplasty would tighten the fascia and reapproximate the rectus muscles and correct buldging of the abdomen. Please visit a board certified plastic surgeon in your area.
