Dr. Giancarlo McEvenue, MD, RCPSC, (or just Dr.G to his patients) is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in aesthetic surgery. He is an expert in Buttock Augmentation (BBL), Tummy Tuck (TT), Mommy Makeovers (MMO) and Breast Surgeries. He is best known for always delivering a “Resultado Excellente”™.

Dr. G comes from a Canadian/Colombian background and grew up in Toronto, Canada. He attended the University of Toronto where he completed an undergraduate degree in Human Biology with Honours. Dr. G won numerous academic scholarships including the St. Michael’s College GPA award and the Institute of Medical Science scholarship for three consecutive years. Next he attended medical school at SABA University School of Medicine where he developed a passion for plastic surgery. After receiving top marks during medical school, Dr. McEvenue began his residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto, in Toronto, Canada. Upon graduating from residency in 2017 Dr. G worked at the prestigious Mclean Clinic in Mississauga, Ontario performing a high volume of Transgender TopSurgery. In 2020 Dr. G joined the Dr.Miami Squad and moved to Miami Florida, the world capitol of plastic surgery.
Dr. G has published numerous scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics including hand surgery, burn surgery, gender affirmation surgery, and social media. His research has been presented at both the national and international level at meetings including The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. McEvenue has won several awards for his research including most recently “2017 Best Clinical Paper” in Plastic Surgery from the University of Toronto and “2017 Best Abstract” from the North American Refugee Health Conference.
Dr. G has a passion for helping others and volunteered for a surgical mission in aid of Syrian refugees living in Lebanon in 2017. He also was involved in an education medical mission to Uganda in 2018. He also participates in local charity events including: “Run for The Cure for Breast Cancer” and “Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day”. In memory of his late sister, Johanna, he founded “JoJo’s kids”, a charity that helps send underprivileged children to summer camp.
