So i found dr geri googling for plastic surgeons in d.r i was a little skeptic of having a surgery first with a surgeon that no one that i personally know have done a plastic surgery with and second , so far away from home (boston). To my surprise and contrary to the opinions of friends and family (going to d.r to have a cosmetic surgery with a surgeon that i have never seen in person doesnt sound so wise when you put it like that) this was a great experience!!!! Dr Geri took his time to explain me all the risks of having a tummytuck surgery, that the results would depend on the combination of my body and his surgery. His English is not the best, but he made sure that i understood everything crystal clear (always professional, funny and with a smile). Ciplaci is so beautiful! its literally like a 5 stars hotel or better, didnt expect that kind of luxury from a small town in dominican republic. I love my tummytuck!!!! I used to be insecure using certain type of clothes, after 3 kids my belly was not something pretty to look at. Its been 5 month since my surgery and im planning on returning to have some breast implants in a couple of months. Would recommend. Great clinic, great doctor and great human being.
Dr Sosa is the best. He talked to me about the risks, what to expect about the surgery, was very honest about everything that involved the surgery, and answered all my questions. I had a nose job done on me. He is a perfectionist, even if that means taking a little longer in surgery to make sure all details are right. The place (ciplaci) is marvelous, I felt like in a 5 star hotel. I must say I was scared, to say the least, about going to the caribbean to have a surgery but after meeting Dr Sosa I was so relax and comfortable. He makes sure to call very often to make sure im doing ok. Very professional and a great person, always smiling. I'm still recovering, but even with all the inflamation, my face looks so pretty now.
i had my son at a young age and ever since my pregnancy my belly was just never the same. even when i got back down to my pre-pregnancy weight, actually 13lbs lighter my belly was still a mess. so i decided a tummy tuck and liposuction would be the best for me. i found my doctor through my boyfriend and he's the best!!! Dr sosa is very nice and answered all of my questions and more!! he took his time to go over everything about the procedure with me. i new i had a lot of fat but didnt realize how much it really was. i had my surgery on August 21 2013. the whole experience was pretty good, painful and sore though. i stayed at a suite for 2 days and was treated well there. i walked the next day after surgery which was hard but i had to use the bathroom and refused to go in the adult diaper!! as the days went on i got better and better. the rest of the stay was at my boyfriends house in d.r so i felt at home and got to just relax and be treated like a baby. plus his aunt did my lympathic massages for free!! that helped out so much. i noticed alot of my bruising went down after each massage. now tomorrow will be 3 weeks and i still have a lot of swelling in my belly and back, but i am feeling almost back to normal. Updated on 11 Sep 2013: so today i felt some pain in my stomach but i feel like i might be over doing myself so I'm trying to relax and just do everything at a slower pace. my incision is looking good just some redness but the doctor said its normal and just keep an eye on it if anything. I'm on the 2nd hook with my faja and its not too bad, soon ill need a smaller one maybe a few weeks. Updated on 17 Sep 2013: so i found a dermatologist who was extremely nice and removed all my stitches from my belly button!! painless, i don't know why i was so scared that it would hurt? he also trimmed one of my stitches from my incision. everything is healing i started using silicone scar sheets so hopefully they will help heal my incision. still have a lot of swelling but only time and patience will heal that!!
