Dr. Min is an Exceptional Plastic Surgeon If you’re looking for a highly skilled, experienced, and professional plastic surgeon, I can’t recommend Dr. Min enough. What sold me is his experience with post weight loss patients—he has performed thousands of body contouring surgeries on post-weight loss patients, and his expertise truly shines in every aspect of his work. From the initial consultation to my follow-up appointments, I was consistently impressed with his level of care and attention to detail. Unlike some other “instagram-famous” surgeons in the area who seem to focus more on social media and flashy marketing to attract clients, Dr. Min doesn’t need to rely on those tactics. His incredible results and reputation speak for themselves. It was clear from the start that his priority is delivering exceptional outcomes, not building an online persona. He is also the owner of the clinic which I appreciate as a small business owner myself. I like that I am supporting a local business and not a national aesthetic surgery chain. I couldn’t be happier with my results—they exceeded my expectations while remaining completely aligned with the realistic goals Dr. Min set for me. He was thorough in explaining what to expect, and his honest, grounded approach immediately put me at ease. I underwent a lower body lift and breast lift without implants. I honestly cannot believe this is my body when I look in the mirror. I knew plastic surgery would improve my appearance but part of me was trying to temper my expectations. Well….no need for that because thanks to Dr. Min I look incredible! His accompanying team of nurses was equally amazing—kind, patient, and always helpful. The entire process was seamless, and I always felt well cared for and safe. It’s also worth mentioning that Dr. Min uses board-certified anesthesiologists during procedures, which further reinforced my trust in his practice and commitment to safety. As someone who underwent body contouring after significant weight loss, I can confidently say that Dr. Min’s experience with post-weight loss patients is unparalleled. He understands the unique challenges and knows exactly how to tailor his approach to deliver the best results. Several of the other surgeons I met with offered a standard tummy tuck but wouldn’t do a full 360 lower body lift. Others were willing to do a full body lift but didn’t have the experience Dr. Min did. I want to sing from the rooftops that if you’re doing plastics after weight loss Dr. Min is your guy! Seriously, look no further! Even if you aren’t a massive weight loss patient, Dr. Min’s experience will benefit you! My breast lift without implant also looks incredible. Lower body lifts are also one of the most complicated surgeries so if he’s good at that (he is!) his tummy tuck technique will be fantastic too. Lastly, his pricing was fair, especially considering the quality of his work. Some of the “instagram famous” surgeons greatly inflate their pricing for perceived value and it’s ridiculous. Yes, working with Dr. Min is a big investment but the level of care, skill, and professionalism you receive from Dr. Min is truly worth every penny. If you’re looking for a surgeon who combines exceptional talent with genuine care for his patients, look no further than Dr. Min. My experience was life-changing, and I’m so grateful to him and his team!
I had my first appointment with Dr. Min and I could not be more pleased. He is professional, kind, personable, and encouraging. I look forward to having him update my breast reconstruction and perform other procedures. I feel confident that he is the best surgeon for the job. I also think his staff is top notch. They, too, are informative and reassuring.
I recently underwent several procedures with Dr. Minn, including a tummy tuck, breast augmentation, thigh lift, and arm lift, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the initial consultation to the post-surgery follow-ups, Dr. Minn and the entire staff provided exceptional care and professionalism. Dr. Minn took the time to understand my goals and concerns, explaining each procedure in detail and ensuring I felt comfortable every step of the way. The results have exceeded my expectations, and I feel more confident and happy with my body than ever before. The staff at Dr. Minn's clinic are warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, always available to answer questions and provide reassurance. I highly recommend Dr. Minn to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. The expertise, care, and outstanding results speak for themselves. Thank you, Dr. Minn, for transforming my body and boosting my confidence!
Five Stars are not enough to show my appreciation for Team Min at NVPS&S. Overlake Hospital referred Dr. George Min; his profile on Swedish Hospital website convinced me. During my consultation I gave him a deposit and never looked back. His team are angels. Susan and Brittney guided me through Pre-Op paperwork and tests, and post-op check ins. Calm, patient, reassuring. For years I endured uncomfortable stares, rude comments and ill-fitting clothes. My post-birth body held me back - personally and professionally. I interviewed several surgeons in several cities. And passed. Dr. Min is Michelangelo; he is worth the wait. (I'm in recovery - and will post photos after the post op appointment.)
I waited 10 years to do this because I was afraid of the recovery, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how quickly I'm recovering. I had bilateral breast implant replacement, tummy tuck, and liposuction of lateral thighs. I'm so happy with my results so far. I feel better with less swelling every day! I highly recommend Dr. Min. He and his staff have been amazing!
I'm 4 days post-op from a breast augmentation and lift (donut incision), and so far so good! Dr. George Min and the entire Newvue Plastic Surgery team are outstanding. From my initial consultation to being available after my procedure. Dr. Min performed my friends breast augmentation a couple of years ago, and she had RAVE reviews about his practice. I felt super comfortable throughout the entire process and confident Dr. Min could achieve the look I wanted. I've still got a ways to go in my recovery. Looking forward to seeing my final results.
Dr. Min was professional and personable; during the consult I felt listened to and the surgery results are spot on with my expectations. The front office staff made sure my schedule and theirs aligned and were very accommodating. The nurse was supportive and professional. The anesthesiologist was very helpful and caring. All around pleasant experience and recommend them to all my family and friends.
After 4 kids, breast feeding and weight loss, my breast were droopy. I workout regularly and eat well. I started getting consultations with various plastic surgeons. All of them recommended a lift (mastopexy) with implants (15K +). Dr. Min was the only one who recommended augmentation only, since I had a mastopexy sometime ago and positioning the nipple again (secondary mastopexy) could lead to complications (nipple necrosis). So I took the plunge and had the augmentation last Friday, September 16, 2019. The surgery went very well. I've had very little pain and although I have some swelling I am super happy. See below the pictures of the day of the surgery.
I chose Dr Min in Bellevue WA or my breast lift. First I have to mention what an incredible plastic surgeon Dr Min is! His bedside manner is top notch! I was naturally freaking out about my breast lift and nearly cancelled my surgery . I called his office a few days before and I spoke with one his nurses which by the she was extremely patient & compassionate. She succeeded at helping me calm my fears about my surgery!! My breast were heavy an saggy before and Dr Min did an awesome job!! I have 20 year old perky breast again. My whole experience was top notch! I highly recommend Newvue Plastic Surgery! You will not be disappointed! I’m soooo grateful I found Dr Min and his staff! Thank you so much Newvue Plastic Surgery you guys Rock!!
I was diagnosed at 35 with stage 1A breast cancer and am BRCA positive. I opted for a bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction performed by Dr. Min. I had my initial implant exchange on January 16th. When I woke up from surgery I had beautifully constructed boobs that were significantly smaller than I hoped for due to the thinness of my skin and sub muscular placement post mastectomy. I was disappointed, and discussed it honestly with Dr. Min at my post OP appointment. He listened carefully and came up with an approach to get me taken care of against these obstacles. A quick revision was scheduled and I was getting swapped for a larger implant above the muscle. I LOVE my revision already. The work is phenomenal and I feel like I am 5 weeks away from having my life back 100%, including a small semblance of femininity that I have missed deeply. When I found out I was sick it was a blur to try and coordinate getting on both his and the breast surgeon's calendar. I remember asking Dr. Min if I was being vain in trying to get it all together; shouldn't I just be focusing on surviving this and not worrying about how I look? He took my hand and said no, cancer is taking something away from you, and it's my job to help you get it back. I am grateful that he was a huge part of a phenomenal care team in a difficult time, and that he framed this struggle with such kindness. I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone, but if you do find yourself having to make these decisions in a whirlwind please feel confident you're working with someone incredibly talented, capable, and compassionate with Dr. Min in addition to the entire Newvue team. Updated on 17 Oct 2019: I'm really happy with how they've settled overall! They have a fair amount of rippling that had I stuck with the original sub-muscular placement wouldn't be so obvious so I went ahead and scheduled fat grafting to fill in said ripples. Truth be told- the fat grafting is just the icing on a long wished for tummy tuck cake that I'm moving ahead with. I'm perfectly happy with how my breasts are now. It just sucked when I was looking for pictures etc and there wasn't much out there so here are mine. Oddly enough the asymmetry is the same as when I had my natural breasts lol. I was told post mastectomy that the goal is unnoticed with a supportive bra and I honestly my breasts meet that definition now. I guess these will also function as a "before" picture for the fat grafting surgery too, but there is life after cancer y'all.
The Lightsheer laser is effective on the upper lip as long as the hair is dark. If you have white or blonde hairs it will not be effective. The Lightsheer is attracted to melanin so you will have some risk if the skin is hyper-pigmented but with that being said; The Lightsheer has the ability to be calibrated to work on darker skin tones. I would recommend a test spot first and then if that goes well you may proceed with treatment. If you are troubled by the ingrown hairs, I believe laser is the most effective treatment. No hairs = No ingrown hairs.
The LightSheer is effective on fine black hair. It is a diode laser and it is attracted to the melanin in the hair. You will generally need 5-7 treatments to effectively remove most of the hair with a touch -up treatment done bi-yearly.
The IPL is effective for freckling but the patient must be aware that going into the sun or having exposure can cause the freckling to reappear. My office generally does 4-5 IPL treatments coupled with a medical grade skin care line for home care to help with pigmentation issues utilizing either prescription strength hydroquinone or an alternative if the patient isn't comfortable using hydroquinone. We find that the combination leads to the best outcome for the patient.
The short answer to your question is yes, a sub-muscular placement is possible with a TUBA approach. But my concern at the moment with the TUBA technique is how one would control arterial bleeding if you do place the implant under the muscle. Invariably, you would want to release the pectoralis muscle at the inferior border and would most likely avulse some small arteries (perforators) that would be difficult to control. Hope that helps you
Your question as it pertains to your particular problem is a hard one to answer without more clinic information (photos, correct diagnosis, etc) But in general, I find that anatomic implants don't make quite the difference that is touted because once the body recognizes a foreign body (i.e implant) it will immediately begin to wall it off into a capsule which will often contort the anatomic implant to lose it's shape during the encapsulation process. I find that round implants are easier to put in, with less chance for malposition due to its symetric shape. By no means do I think an anatomic implant in your case is unwarrented. Best of luck to you.
