Stephanie at Dr Karakashian’s office was amazing! She is extremely gentle and I didn’t feel a thing. The results are amazing - my pores are half the size and my skin is glowing! Can’t wait for my 2nd and 3rd treatments!
This was my first experience with any kind of Microneedle treatment, so I had no idea what to expect. Stephanie was great from beginning to end, explaining each step of the process and telling me what to expect in the days and weeks following the treatment. She is incredibly knowledgeable and answered every question I had about post treatment skin care. Any nerves I had going into this quickly faded after we got started. Now as for the actual treatment itself, it’s not terribly painful, although they increase the settings for the second session and I definitely noticed in some areas. The numbing cream they use is amazing though. Left the office looking like a tomato, but by the time I rinsed my face that evening, you could barely tell I’d had a treatment that day. I think the PRP played a big role in the turnaround time. Some minor track marks developed over the next couple of days but they’re not too bad and they faded by the end of the week. After my first treatment I had this one area that became a little itchy for a few days about a week after getting it done, but a little extra moisturizer took care of that. As far as home care, other than the collagen mask they sent me home with I haven’t really done much. The second night I started using my cerave gentle foaming face wash and this cucumber gel face mask to keep my skin moisturized. During the day I use the cerave pm lotion. My skin care routine has never been so simple, it’s amazing! I’m writing this review about a week after my second treatment. They recommend 3 depending on your needs, but I already see a noticeable difference in the size of my pores and the pitting acne scars that I had. I had terrible cystic acne for a lot of my adult life, with my last major outbreak a couple of years ago leaving some very unwanted scars. Now I’ve got people telling me day after day that my skin is flawless. I haven’t been using my topical acne prescription since the first session and I had a couple pimples around my period as per usual, but they were super small and went away quickly. I didn’t have too many wrinkles to begin with but the lines I used to have on my forehead have diminished, as have my nasolabial folds. My skin looks and feels amazing, and I still have one more treatment to look forward to. 10/10 highly recommend the Morpheus8 microneedling treatment. I just got Forma at Ideal Body & Skin, Dr. Karakashian’s office. First of all, the office was clean & neat and staff was welcoming. The RN, Stephanie was warm, welcoming and was patient to answer all my questions about treatments & my skin. She walked me through which treatments would be most suitable for my skin and gave me multiple options based on my budget and timeline. After we set a treatment plan, she took me to the treatment rooms to get started. She was gentle & made sure I was comfortable at all times. I got Forma which would address multiple problem areas for me: undereye bags, smile lines, heaviness around my jaw area and loose skin around my neck. After about a 30 minute treatment I left the office & immediately noticed & felt the difference. My skin was noticeably tighter and my undereye bags have decreased. I couldn’t imagine the results are just one treatment & have already booked my next appointment. Stephanie the RN told me that you get best results with a series of treatments but one treatment can be beneficial to prepare you for a special event or give you an extra boost... I would recommend this treatment to my friends & family!
Excellent question - You can laser if they scar has healed fully. We recommend waiting up to a year or 18 months. Please make sure you are evaluated by a licensed medical professional prior to initiating your treatments to ensure your hair removal is effective and safe.
