Could Zeltig be used to reduce the unwanted fat on my cheeks?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
I would think gentle hand liposuction would reduce the cheek prominence from overzealous fat transfer. Zeltig is not well thought of in general and I do not believe they have a coupler for the face.

Do I need muscle repair? Will 360 bodylift help with back skin? Can they extend cut from chest lift to remove back skin? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
The answers to these questions you present require an in depth consultation and discussion.  In general once done abdominoplasties (tummy tucks) do not require further muscle tightening, but may require additional skin or fat removal. The posterior (back) part of a body lift does not improve the upper back folds. Extension of a chest incision maybe helpful if there is significant chest and back skin excess.  Schedule your consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in body contour procedures.

How much does it cost for a breast lift, tummy tuck, thigh cellulite decrease?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Your concerns are fairly common and frequently I will combine breast lift, tummy tuck, and thigh liposuction at the same time if the patient is very healthy. The fee varies by locality, site of operation, and details of the procedure.  I suggest you contact one or more board certified plastic surgeons in your area to discuss your concerns and the detailed costs. Good luck.

Deformed nipple, can it be fixed? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
You should discuss the correction with a board certified plastic surgeon who may offer one or more solutions.  Ask about breast feeding since this may be difficult or impossible after re-arranging the nipple tissue. Good luck.

I would like to know if there's any surgery to get a long belly button?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
There are many options for changing the shape of a belly button.  Most include some external scarring, however I have done an endoscopic approach from an incision at the pubic hair line which essentially lengthens the umbilicus and can lower it if excess skin exists below it.  Visit a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

Taking iron pills before surgery?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
There is no reason to take iron before surgery if your hemoglobin is normal, and your iron level is normal. It certainly will not lower your level. Iron helps you make new blood cells, but only if you are deficient.

I am looking for advice on course of action for breast augmentation and tummy tuck. (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
There are no abdominal pictures to view, however you should have one or more consultations to determine the best treatment for your situation.  Based on what I do see an augmentation without lift maybe reasonable. Choose a plastic surgeon who is board certified and has extensive experience with body contouring surgeries in massive weight loss patients.

Is there any surgery that corrects belly button? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
changing the  shape of your belly button can certainly be done but will require a small surgical procedure.  Most would use a periumbilical scar which would be noticable afterwards. Another option is to do it with an endoscope from the pubis which would leave a very faint scar at the hairline. Price is variable depending on the approach you choose.

Hypersensitivity after breast lift and tummy tuck. How long does it take to improve?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
You can expect new sensations as the nerves recover for a year. Warm clothing can diminish these during the colder months.  Biofeedback techniques are helpful if the sensations are particularly disturbing. Discuss your concerns with your treating surgeon. I'm sure you'll notice improvement in the warmer months.

I was trying to get the stubborn fat away, while getting a waist contour

I was trying to get the stubborn fat away, while getting a waist contour. I got my full abs, waist, and bra rolls done. I'm loving the waist but not the bra rolls and lower tummy-has me a little concern even for having 1 week postop. Done with Sonobello, Norfolk, va with dr. Fred Siegel. I will answer any ?'S or will take any inputs, thank you Updated on 1 Apr 2021: Ive seen my swelling gone down a bit. Keeping myself compressed and massaging my self everyday. I have this weird fluid or air pocket I’m not sure, but it doesn’t hurt just feels weird.

47 Year Old-had Twins and Needed Tummy Tuck - Chesapeake, VA

The procedure was relatively easy, however the recovery was grueling. Be sure to plan for assistance with childcare, household duties, and time off work for at least 3 weeks. I am glad I had the procedure done. I look and feel much better! I chose to recover over night in the local hospital. It cost a bit more, but was able to receive IV Fluids, meals, and medication which I think helped with a speedy recover.

Closed Rhinoplasty in VA - Chesapeake, VA

Like everyone else on this site. I've been wanting to fix my nose since I can remember. Finally saved up & had my surgery this morning. Last night I was terrified and couldn't sleep, googling when you are scared is not the best thing either. So this morning went really fast, it took longer for the nurse to get the IV in and set me up then the actual procedure. My mom said I was out of surgery in about 30 min. When I woke up I had the biggest headache and there was pain from my nose. But nothing that caused me to regret my decision. I had seen so many people after surgery be all bruised & swollen, I was afraid to look in the mirror because I didn't want to see that. Good news was I wasn't bruised OR swollen when I got in the car! I was shocked because I usually bruise real easy. My advice is make sure you bring saltine crackers & water with you so you can take your pain meds ASAP. I wish I had done that. I was in a little pain and my headache felt like an extreme brain freeze. Had my surgery at 930am this morning, it's now 6:34pm I've had one or two naps. I've been using a ice pack on and off bc i did start to swell a bit and I feel really good. I'm only tired because of the Vicodin. I can breath thru my nose and i fell really really good. Another BIG piece of advice is get the gel eye mask for icing your face its sooo much better then ice packs & frozen peas. So hopefully this helps, I'm trying to get this on here before I forget. I know reading these blogs really helped me. Updated on 3 Jul 2013: Ok so my surgery was Monday morning, it felt like within 9 hrs I began to swell and bruise. The swelling was worse then the bruising. I'm just continuing to use Ice packs/ rest and pain meds. I had to take some headache meds because my headaches were coming back. I'm having a very good recovery. No issues at all. I feel very lucky. Tonight (Wednesday ) I am going to clean out my nose I can breathe out of it but I do feel some hard blood in there. I've been taking pics as much as I can so you guys can see the progress. I'm crossing my fingers that I look somewhat normal by Friday so I can go back to work. I'm itching to get out of this bed. Updated on 3 Jul 2013: Ok everyone who's going in for closed rhinoplasty. The 3rd day is going to be the best! Today I had my hair washed got my nails done, did a little pampering. I feel great . I have some slight swelling where my bandage is but nothing is painful or uncomfortable. I'm so excited to take these bandages off. I do not have a cast just bandages, the doc said they are just to keep swelling down. He also said I can take off bandages on Friday which is good because I need to go to work. Lol so don't be scared by the 3rd day you will be feeling amazing! Here are some pics of of my face today. Good luck to all you getting this done, I'm soooo happy I did it. Updated on 3 Jul 2013: Just so you guys are aware, I did not have my nose broken during surgery. I basically had the doctor "chisel" my hump down. So my results & recovery are slightly less dramatic then everyone else's. I read this website the night before my surgery and was so freaked out seeing all these people black & blue and taking weeks to recover. Mine took 3 days and that's due to the fact that I didn't have a lot done. So if you are trying to compare please keep in mind I had a closed rhinoplasty and my hump chiseled down, nothing else. I really don't want to give the wrong impression to anyone. Good luck all I will post before and after pictures once I take the bandage off. Updated on 4 Jul 2013: My tape was coming off from being outside & it's so hot & humid. I decided to take it off. Bad idea..I burst into tears because its not what I expected. I'm still swollen on my nose so hopefully that's what I'm seeing. I know it's early, I know it's takes a while to heal, I know it's only been 3 days but it was an emotional minute I had. I put clear tape back on to suppress the swelling. I'm planning on taking it off comptely for work tomorrow and then putting it back on at night. Did crying happen to anyone else? I hope I didn't go through all this for nothing. Updated on 5 Jul 2013: Ok all, I took of my bandages this morning, which kind of hurt. Put some make up on and headed to work. I had a little pain on the bridge of my nose but I popped a pain med and I feel great. No one at work said anything, one coworker who knows what I did said my face looked a little swollen but not really noticeable. I'm posting some pics but I know I am still healing so my nose looks a bit bigger then normal. To be expected. I can't wait for the next few months for my face to "settle". Thanks for all the positive remarks! Updated on 16 Sep 2013: Not a great before pic but here

I Wish I Never Even Set Foot in the Door

I went to Elite Body Sculpture in DC and met with Brielle and Dr Fred Siegal about my arms, he is a blunt man he was the only surgeon available that day so i decided consulting with him was fine. He says that we can reduce your arms but it would not be my best work, I used to do arm lifts at my practice but they dont do that here. It seemed like Brielle right after wanted to rectify what he said because when he left she stated that I would have great results, she just wanted my money im sure. At any rate the day of the surgery everyone had pretty good bed side manner, and afterwards there was little to no post op care instructions. They took out 972 cc's of pure fat, which I have 17 in arms, did not seem like a lot. But I had never had a procedure done. Its 4 weeks post op and there are no difference in my arms what so ever, not even a drop. I spoke to Christina several times the Practice manager and at first she was very nice, but as dollar and cents become involved everyone loses there general politeness. My arms are still big, the same measurements as before. And now I have severe depression. They boast immediate results on their website, they boast 24-48 down time, i was out of work for two weeks, i lost wages, and my mental health is on the decline. I paid 7k for my arms which most places only charge 2000 if that. I wish i never went there. It is my worst mistake.

$7,700Mini Tummy Tuck

floresm1

42 yr old mini tummy tuck

It was really not as scary and painful as the reviews made it out to be. I found that the longer I sat or laid in the bed the worst it was when I tried to get up and walk. I rested most of the day of the procedure but.the following morning I got ip and not only cooked breakfast but dinner as well. I took breaks in between. Took a 40 min nap but.the day after was my bday so I had lots of company and was able to entertain. I think this is def unusual and I also believe recovery is dependent on the individual, their overall health and fitness level. I am now on day 4 and I cleaned my house and did laundry today. Finally took a shower, saw my Dr. Yesterday they say incision looked really clean, swelling is minimal, drains will be out on Thursday. I told my Dr. I had an infected boil on my leg a few yrs ago that was more painful then my tt. I am 100% happy I decided to go thru with this despite some of the scary reviews. I take percocets for pain and have been gradually decreasing the times I take them since yesterday. Hope this helps someone debating on wether to go thru with this or not.
