This may potentially be combined with additional liposuction of the axillas, if desired, which possibly may further improve contour of the area. With surgery, there may potentially be risks such as scarring, which may be improved with laser treatment after surgery, if desired, and loss of sensation of the skin/nipples, which may potentially improve or return over time. Since you mention that you may be planning to lose weight, you may want to consider surgery once you have reached your goal weight and are stable at that weight for a few months, since you may potentially also lose volume in the breasts, as well. I searched for a long time to find the right plastic surgeon and I am so happy that I found Dr. Huettner! I had my surgery in July 2025 and am absolutely thrilled with my results. I wanted to have a gender affirming breast reduction and go as small as possible while still preserving some breast tissue. It was important to me to find a surgeon that understood my wish to present in a more androgynous way, but not have top surgery. The results are exactly what I wanted. For the first time in my life I can wear button up shirts, and the kinds of clothes I have always wanted to wear, with a less feminine looking build. I love the way my profile looks, and feel the best I have ever felt in my body. I didn’t have any loss of sensation at all. Dr. Huettner is kind, professional, knowledgable and an excellent surgeon. I had complete trust in her from our initial video consultation. Every interaction I’ve had with her has made me feel secure that I was in the right hands. the best decision i ever made!
One of the best choices I have ever made was to get my breasts reduced by Dr. Franziska Huettner. I have thought about getting this operation for years, but I was hesitant since I am afraid of surgery, which I think is normal for many individuals. I had deep shoulder creases from the weight of my breasts, chronic back pain, and trouble finding bras that fit correctly. The hardest part of the procedure for me was choosing the right surgeon because how can you really tell who is the best fit? I was immediately put at ease as soon as I met Dr. Huettner. She was kind, understanding, and focused. She paid close attention to my worries, understood my difficulties, and fully solved them. She addressed every one of the almost 40 questions I had prepared for our consultation before I even had a chance to ask them. Her deep knowledge, passion for her work, and genuine concern for her patients' health were all clear to me. She was the surgeon I wanted to proceed with for this surgery. Her commitment and professionalism appeared in her entire crew. Everyone, from the nurses to the front desk, was always helpful and quick to respond. Before my operation, I could contact them at any time with questions or worries, and I always got timely, comforting answers. Nurse Amber personally called to check in the night before the procedure. She helped me feel at ease and ready for the following day by listening to my concerns, particularly my dread of needles and my first surgery. Every team member helped to ensure an effortless and reassuring procedure on the day of surgery. In order to calm me down, Dr. Huettner took the time to reassure me once more, even making me laugh. In order to calm my mind before anesthesia, experts talked to me. My biggest worry was that I would wake up in pain, but I was surprised to find that I woke up pain-free and have stayed comfortable during my recovery. I am currently 11 days post-op, and the outcome is even better than what I expected. I seem smaller, feel lighter, and have more body confidence than I have in years. Dr. Huettner is a great surgeon who truly cares about her patients' overall experience and confidence following the treatment, not just the procedure itself. I will definitely suggest her to anyone thinking about having breast reduction surgery or any kind of procedure. I appreciate your professionalism and compassion, Dr. Huettner and crew. Results Were Better Than I Believed Possibe!
My breast revision was an amazing experience from my initial phone call through the recovery. Dr Huettner obviously sets the tone of her practice with ALL the staff welcoming and supportive. She listened to me and validated my desired outcome. Her warmth was always there especially in the operating room right prior to the surgery. Wonderful Experience Start to Finish
I am so glad I chose Dr Huettner. I had 3 consults one in Tampa, Miami, Orlando. But once I met Dr Huettner I knew she was who I was comfortable using. Most plastic surgeons are very egotistical and have an attitude about them. She is not like that at all she truly listens and gives non judgmental and honest advice. She’s a straight shooter, but I love that. I felt like she gave me her full attention and made sure all my concerns were addressed, Before and after my surgery. I love the results I’m only two weeks post surgery, but already am very happy. If you are looking for a good surgeon and wonderful results, know she’s worth meeting. It’s hard to know who to trust when your making such a huge decision but I felt like I was in good hands.

Breast reduction due to chronic back & neck pain
I had been thinking about getting a breast reduction for years due to chronic back & neck pain, but was waiting till I found the right doctor. When I first met Dr. Huettner, I knew almost immediately that she was the one I wanted to go with. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable & professional. I could tell she really cared about me and giving me the best results possible. I could also tell she was very experienced and knew what she was doing. Dr. Huettner is a Gem! Just a quick note to express how thankful I am that I chose Dr. Huettner as my plastic surgeon. My mouth is of a normal size again and I can feel my lips fully
Dr. Huettner is amazing and really reliable. My Primary Care physician recommended her to me. My upper lip was cut multiple times during injuries from epileptic seizures that I had in the past. Even when the wounds healed and my seizures were no longer occuring, my upper lip was big, asymmetrical, and with a lot of scar tissue inside. Dr. Huettner measured my lip (it was a real mess before), and strategically prepared the surgery to remove the scar tissue, in 2 phases, so that she could see how it settles and make sure all the scar tissue is removed. It sounds like a long process (as it is with any surgery that is done properly), but now, my mouth is of a normal size again, I can feel my lips fully again, and I even found a new job. I am incredibly grateful that modern medicine has advanced so far and we have Dr. Huettner here. Thank you for helping me heal from my surgeries and have a normal mouth again!
