Hi ladies!! I chose this provider because I've seen the work he does on women I know. He does an amazing job. I'm super excited!!! I've been doing research for over 2 years now. I can't believe it's going to happen! After 3 babies , my tummy is just not the same anymore. No excercise can completely repair the separation of muscles!! I traveled from Oklahoma on Friday(2/24/17) to Juarez, Chihuahua. I had my lab test done on Saturday morning at Quest Diagnostics in Juarez. They sent me the results to my email the same day! Awesome and only $65! Today (sunday) I picked up the originals at the clinic. We came to visit my mother in law to a town 2 hours away from Chihuahua. Tomorrow we head out to see the doctor and to get instructions on medicine I need before the surgery. My surgery date is Tuesday. I'm so ready for this!!!! I'll be getting a tummy tuck combined with liposuction on the my back, lower back and sides. Updated on 27 Feb 2017: Ok so today Monday I arrived Chihuahua around 12 noon. I called Lilia the secretary because I rang the door bell of the office and no one opened. She is the main secretary and had just left to run an errand. She came back quick and let my husband and I in. I gave her my lab test results and she gave me the prescription of medicine I need for and after surgery. She was very clear and nice. I have to start taking antibiotics today! I can't believe this is finally happening! Tomorrow I have to arrive at 8:30am to prepare for surgery. I went to the pharmacy to purchase all the medicine which was only around $140. She said wear loose clothing, shower, no jewelry, nails trimmed, no makeup and don't eat anything within the last 8 hours before surgery. I am ready for this, enthusiastic and mentally prepared for the pain. I know this will be worth it!! Thanks to my hubby for all his support!???? One more day!!!!!!!!! Updated on 1 Mar 2017: Alright so yesterday was my surgery!! I didn't have a whole lot of time to take pictures. I had a mini tummy tuck combined with liposuction for $3500. They started around 10am. It took about 2 hours. The facility was not as I expected. I guess I expected a little but more. Everything went fine!! Even tho I did feel like a cow being tossed everywhere during liposuction lol. I had general anesthesia. Right after surgery I started having alot of pain where he did muscle repair. 6es I was in about a 8 pain for about an hour because I couldn't have medicine yet. I guess the anesthesia wore out pretty quick! Darn it hurt!!! Finally one of the nurses brought me a pill and injected me with the medicine to prevent blog clots. My hubby came to see me a little after that. The pain went down to about a 6. Finally an hour after that the nurse sat me up and began taking off my iv. She explained my medicine and told me to come back next Monday to remove the drain. I was up an walking like nothing. Back slightly bent and on the car by 4pm. I used a stool to get in the car. IWe drove 2 hours to my mother in laws home. Apparent the position I was in the bed back at the clinic had made the pain worsen. As soon as I started walking it felt 90% better. I didn't throw up bease of the anesthesis. I felt good. As soon as I got home I ate some veggie soup. It was amazing and just enough to make me feel way better. I've been walking probably more than I should but it makes me feel better. The only thing I hate right now besides the drain is the faja (which is too tight around my fatty legs). I was told I can't cut it because it'll cause the area that's compressed around my tummy to swell tremendously. Alright well I ended up putting pads under the faja where it is too tight.. yes it helps!! Alot. At night it was hard to sleep and trying to keep the drain from moving around. I woke up this morning my back feels like I was just hit all over with a hammer. Ouchie! Pain is about a 5. They said this should be the worst day. I hope it is. Anyway here I am..just trying to heal. Hurry up Monday! ! I hate the drain!! Updated on 2 Mar 2017: Today was shower day! Amen to that!! Made me feel so much better. It took about 2 hours to remove faja, dressings, shower redress wounds and put the faja back on. It's definitely worth it! Skin felt itchy and sore. I've been keeping a light food diet including oats, boiled eggs, steamed fish/ chicken with veggies, and a piece of fruit here an there. Fiber is really important to get your system back in motion. One of the hardest parts for me has been the sleeping. Finding the right position takes a few minutes. Well almost another day gone.Once again, I can't wait for the drain removal. ???? Updated on 8 Mar 2017: So this past Monday 3/6/17 my drain was taken out. Thank the Lord! They also changed my compression garment. I feel like a new woman! I sleep much better. Today I showered and did everything by myself. I can't wait for my new bod. Updated on 9 Mar 2017: I'm feeling better every day. I only drink one pill/24hrs now. Yesterday I managed to shower and put the compression garment on by myself. Yay I believe I'm recovering quite well. Now about that swelling.... lol Updated on 16 May 2017: The sm girdle is no longer compressing so I am using my waist trainer to shape. I started excercising around seven wks post op. I've still have some inflammation on the front of my tummy. Itchiness from lipo is barely there.
