Excellent Experience overall. This clinic is fantastic. Dr. Jang is very professional and her staff are kind. The same staff have been there for years and it’s wonderful to see familiar faces when I come in.
Dr. Jang is a genius and a miracle worker. She is always going to different places and learning new techniques. I have no words to describe how amazing she is. If I have a problem with my face in any way, she solves it. I love her and when she retires I will actually cry .
I had my filler done for the first time 2 weeks ago and just finished my follow up appointment. Prior to the treatment, I spent months researching all the top clinics and injectors in Vancouver. In my honest opinion, Dr. Jang is truly a highly regarded injector. She had recommended me to do filler for my marionette lines as I looked sad and angry during my resting face. The results were instant and natural.
I had my masseters done with Dr Jang and it was an excellent experience. I have had injectables done previously at other clinics and had experienced a crooked chin even after paying thousands of dollars. I'm very happy with the results that Dr Jang gave me with my masseters, my face now has more symmetry. She was also nice enough to correct my gummy smile as an add on treatment the day of my appointment. Thank you Dr Jang!
My experiences with Dr. Jang were always great. She's so knowledgeable and knows exactly what I want to achieve. She doesn't shy away from recommendation but leaves all the choices/options to me. The results are amazing and natural. I wouldn't hesitate to go back
Dr.Jang is indeed highly qualified and has a lot of experience! She was very attentive to my needs and advised me well while being honest so that I could achieve the desired results! Also, the clinic is very classy and welcoming.
Dr. Jang is incredibly talented and knowledgeable. I had both botox on my forehead and crowsfeet and it really smooth out my wrinkles. The results were very natural. Dr. Jang took the time to explain the procedures to me in detail and answered all my questions. 8 months after botox, I went back to see her for dermal fillers, specifically to treat the wideness of my nose and lack of nose bridge. I was very impressed by her techniques and love the new shape of my nose. Not every physician can achieve this result as I did my research and shopped around. Thanks to Dr. Jang for giving me my confidence back.
I’m absolutely thrilled with the results so far. I didn’t want to get my hopes up about the Juvederm filler too much, so I was really happy to see such a huge improvement. Dr. Jang also recommended 3-4 microneedling treatments for reducing the scar lines by 50-60%. I did some research on microneedling and, decided to do my entire face, along with the scar. I’ll keep updating on my treatments and post more pictures with my treatments.
After phoning around Vancouver to 5 different clinics, I decided to go to Skinworks. the receptionist seems the most knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. Once I got to the clinic there was a bit of a wait but it's a doctor's office so I was expecting it. I think I waited 5-10 min. One of Dr. Jang's assistant took me into the room and went over botox or there was another option ( I forgot what it was). I went with botox since my friend has had it before. Dr. Jang was very skilled at what she does, it barely hurt and the results were very natural. I am in my early thirties and was told this is a good preventative treatment so that I will age naturally without the "frozen" look. I was in and out quickly as I didn't have that many questions but I appreciate that my time wasn't wasted on a long drawn out consultation. I didn't feel rushed though. I went back for a checkup 2 weeks after so that they can make sure everything worked out as it should. I am very happy with the result and made another appointment in 6 months' time which is nice because I was told about their loyalty program where I would save $50 as long as I don't change or cancel my appointment!
awful. felt shamed. saw her years and years ago (mid 90's) and she was great. got at little botox between the eyes, and the crease went away. went back to her and found she had changed, was short, sharp, harsh and critical. Judgemental too, when I indicated that I found the prices high, as though I were of a lower class. Hard upsells and pressure sales. I left feeling so ugly. ..anyway, lots more fish in the sea, I moved on.
Hello!Botox effects typically wear off in 3-4 months so it is unlikely to be the cause of your redness. However, the most common cause of chronic recurrent nasal tip redness in adults is associated with a common dermatologic condition called rosacea.A variety of prescription and non prescription products for facial redness and rosacea can be applied to the skin but their success is often limited.Although not a cure for redness, any laser or light that impacts blood vessels, such as a series of pulse dye laser treatments or a series of intense pulsed light treatments (IPL), can be successful at diminishing the redness significantly.Hope that helps!
It is likely that the Botox to your chin resulted in your asymmetric smile, and is not related to Botox in the upper third of your face. Botox anywhere around the mouth should be limited to the more experienced injector, as this area is more difficult to inject without complications. That said, you should return to your injector, who may be able to correct your smile with small additional Botox injections in different perioral muscles to “rebalance” your smile. If this is not possible, rest assured that your smile will return to normal within 3-4 months as the current Botox effects wear off. Despite the risk for crooked smile, I really like the smoothing effect that Botox has in the chin muscles; this is an area often neglected by the aesthetic physician but important to address in order to achieve overall facial balance.
Hi there!Judging from your glabellar photos, I think your best and safest option is to try Botox or Dysport in this area to quiet down the muscular activity that is creating the lining or #11s in between your eyebrows. While the lines at rest may not be gone entirely after your first treatment, patients will often notice gradual improvement in the etched lines at rest after repeated treatments. It's important to realize that Botox treatment in this area is also preventative. While fillers CAN be used in this area, it is not usually the first line of treatment, and carries a risk for complications. You have beautiful, full youthful lips, but could consider a small amount of filler to hydrate them!
Great question Anna! While duration of Botox effect is usually related to dose, there are certain areas where we have to be careful not to inject too large a dose of Botox, such as around the mouth and forehead lines. Therefore, we might notice that the improvement in these areas is less than 3 months: we can certainly reinject based on clinical appearance.Another alternative is to try another neurotoxin such as Dysport, which might sometime give a more prolonged duration in challenging areas such as the forehead.
A series of INTENSE PULSED LIGHT will help diminish capillaries as well as correct pigmentation from sun exposure SIMULTANEOUSLY. You will even out your skin tones after a series of treatments and it is generally well tolerated by even sensitive skin patients. DO NOT have chemical peels, as they will aggravate many of your underlying problems.
