This was my very first Botox... and I was NERVOUS! Would it look ok? Would it even work? When I met with Dr. Frie, she was absolutely incredible! She was clear on the procedure, and made me feel super confident in what to expect. I got Botox in my forehead (mostly between the eyebrows to take care of a VERY deep wrinkle.) The procedure itself was easy, quick and painless. The results are FLAWLESS. I will absolutely be going back and am thrilled to say my forehead is smooth and perfectly done.
I had my first Diva treatment with Dr Frie and I would highly recommend it! It wasn’t just the treatment tab had amazing results after busts the first, it was the whole office environment and the staff. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable, and inviting! I will be going back for all of my aesthetics, and even thinking about switching over my primary care ad well!
The BBL’s they do here are amazing. Younger, brighter looking skin and those pesky sun spots are gone! I have also had fillers and botox here. Best of the best! Don’t go anywhere else- this is the place to be!
Hi Jenny I get that this can be very confusing! When you’re thinking of any kind of fillers in your lips or face so many different images of both good and bad spring to mind. The best thing you could do is consult with a provider with a great reputation. Once the two of you are together you can look at images of lips together. This will help the provider decide which filler is best for you. If you want completely natural - consider Volbella. It is super soft and fluid. Excellent for creating subtle enhancement - and long lasting! Want a natural but firmer look so you have extra definition? Juvederm Ultra is a good option. Want more of a statement?? Think - Juvederm Ultra Plus. And of course for all the above - there is the question of how many vials to add. Subtle? Or more eye catching? Finding the right provider who really listens and is experienced is key! I wish you luck!!
Hi - Firstly the lips can remain swollen for up to 14 days. Give it a little more time. 1cc is very little and whoever injected your lips has kept a “natural” proportion where the bottom lip is slightly plumper than the upper lip. Rest assured that if you still hate it, the beauty of a hyaluronic product such as juvederm is that it can be dissolved. If there is any specific area that you don’t like - ie one part with a lump or firmness - you can massage it strongly or return to your Provider who can do that. I actually think your lips look lovely but you have to feel that way too. Good Luck - - and again, if you can, wait at least another week before you decide.
Hi There! 1ml shared between your upper and lower lips will likely give you the exact look you’re after. The type of filler will dictate how firm and “pouty” it will look - for example volbella is very soft and looks very natural. The most important thing, if your wish is to keep your lips looking natural, is to find an experienced injector who will know how much to inject and who will keep the ratio between upper and lower lip sizes correct. The upper lip should always be smaller than the lower. If the upper lip is overfilled the look is unnatural. If the lips are filled too laterally, the look is again, unnatural. Finally, don’t panic if the next day your lips look too big - there is usually some swelling with lips. Wait 3-4 days and I’m sure you will be happy. Take Care and Good Luck!
So sorry you’re going through this. I hope the eye drops raised it a little for you? Your physician is doing the correct thing in prescribing the drops. There are sadly no other remedies, nor is there a Botox reversal agent available. Brow or lid ptosis are some of the documented adverse effects that can happen with botulinum toxins. I tend to err on the side of caution when injecting and stay away from danger zones. This is because I know that I would be really upset if this happened to me! You might need to find a Provider who can answer the question clearly to you on why this occurs and what they would do to prevent it happening again to you. The only consolation I can offer you is that it shouldn’t last for the whole duration that Botox usually lasts in other muscles. I suspect only a small amount of Botox leaked to the muscle involved and you should hopefully have some resolution in the next few weeks. Best Wishes for a Speedy Recovery.
I have never had any of my patients complain of vertigo after Botox. It is, however, a very common symptom of sinus infections. The fluid can create a feeling of dizziness and disequilibrium. Sinus infections with their resultant symptoms can take a while to clear as the fluid buildup can take some time to resolve. Hope you feel better soon!
