Im schedule for a breast augmentation for September 2017. I will be flying out to Florida and I'm scheduled with Dr. Salama. Prior to this procedure I had a gastric sleeve done almost 2 years ago and I lost over 100 pounds including my breast. I'm not looking to get big breasts I never had big breast. I just want some nice "high school" [RS bleep]. I am so looking forward to this breast augmentation and definitely this flight to Miami. Never been to Miami so I'm definitely looking forward to the beaches. If anyone had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Salama in Florida please share your experience with me I am a little anxious about this procedure, but I'm very excited.

Their breast are so pretty. Not sure if I want them that big though. I'm looking for a nice full B-C. I'm currently in a B cup however I don't fill it the cup ;(

I'm still counting down the days until my breast augmentation. I'm so ready to have nice round full breast. I've been researching other procedures like a bbl and a tummy tuck and dr. Salama does pretty good work. I'm really thinking about a bank though. I already have butt I want more roundness and projection. Is that too much to ask for?

So I just booked my hotel and my appointment is made to get med clearance. I was gonna pay for my ticket, but I decided to wait until my med clearance is final. I'm it worried about not passing it. I'm pretty healthy to say the least. So I'm gonna stay a week in Florida just to be on the safe side lost op. I've really been thinking about a BBL.... I do know I'm gonna do 1 thing at a time. I still have to maintain with bills, babies, and life PERIOD.

Today I went for my medical clearance. Not to bad. I already knew what to expect since I'm already in the nursing field. I go for labs in the AM. EKG normal not pregnant so that's a plus!!

So today I had to go back and do a UA w/CS at the lab. That completed my lab work. So now I'm just waiting. Definitely should hear something by Monday. As I said before I'm not worried about the clearance, I'm pretty healthy for the most part. No health problems. I also added full abdominal w/ flank liposuction today with Nancy. I'm super excited and not to mention Nancy is so sweet.

So my doctor called back with all of my labs. With an exception of my vitamin D level being a little low. All of my labs were good. I called Zuny at Dr. Salama and asked if they received it she said yes and it was under review and if I don't receive a call from them I'm good for surgery!!!! Haven't received a call so u know what that mean it's fair to say I'm good for surgery...Yay!! Gonna start looking for tickets today. Just under 7 1/2 weeks to the date I get some new girls and this fat sucked out!!!!

So yesterday I've decided to change my surgery to a tummy tuck with Liposuction of the flanks. I could've gotten it all done at once but the way my life, bills, babies, are set up I can't afford it right now. So it's either one or the other. And I rather have this extra skin from my Gastric surgery removed. So all in all I'm ready to purchase my plane ticket!!!

Tickets purchased! I'm all set. Zuney at Dr. Salama's office emailed with the questionnaire to fill out. So I have to get that back to her ASAP. My husband will accompany me to Florida and take care of me. I also stared getting post op supplies that I will need for recovery. I also ordered Faja from amazon as well. I probably will need to look into the zip up sports bras too. Any idea of where I can find some at?

I've been looking at the perfect breast for me all day!! I've also been educating myself on breast augmentation (low med high profile) saline vs silicone. Projection, diameter, width. MY MY MY I must say it's a lot when trying to find the perfect breast for your frame. I'll post a few pics that I fell in love with and would love to have my breast turn out like those. So today I added silicone to my package instead of saline. The reason I didn't have it before was because of the risk of the silicone implant verses to saline the implant. But after careful research and educating myself and constantly looking at other people silicone breast augmentation, I finally decided to pay for silicone which was an extra thousand dollars. I also did a little shopping getting medical supplies, bras, looking for comfortable clothing for after surgery.

I have 2 weeks to go before I cross over into flat land and beautiful breast. I'm super excited. I already packed my suitcase and filled my medicines. I will have to get my pain medicine filled in Florida. Texas has strict laws regarding pain medicine and what type of prescription paper is used. Nonetheless I'm stoked!! Check back in later

I really didn't think HH would be this bad. It is very devastating for my city and surrounding areas. People have lost all their stuff and sadly family members. It's very touching and heartfelt to see so many people come and rescue others in need. I'm very very fortunate and blessed to not have my home or cars flooded. It's now time to rebuild Houston...

I received a call from Dr Salama's office saying surgery was gonna have to be rescheduled due to the hurricane. :(. I was disappointed, but hey I definitely understand. I just went through Hurricane Harvey. I made it through safely, but when it's time to evacuate and it's mandatory with a category 5 hurricane... ITS TIME TO GO. So I'm back to patiently waiting and trying to get my personal life together!

So I’m within the first week recovering and I looked at card that was given to me stating the type of breast I got and the amount that was filled in it. Well, I noticed in parenthesis it said (saline online). So I proceed to grab my paperwork and it also said saline with a total amount of 11,499. Now remind you Dr. Salama asked me if I was getting saline or silicone and. I said silicone. He called the office verified it and I was right I paid for silicone. But now I’m confused becuz I’m not sure what he gave me saline or silicone! I pray to Moises that it’s silicone and not saline. I have a post op appointment tomorrow at 1130. I will inquire then.

Hello RS,
I've been stalking this website for some time now. Trying to make up my mind about what procedure to do first and how to do it. Well my first interest was BBL, that was before my 3rd child. Well, that went out the window because now, I'm at a weight I don't want to be, never never never seen before and I want this weight off. My second procedure was a TT. I figured why spend all that money on getting that done, when I need to lose the weight first. I never had a problem with working out or eating right. I just wasn't discipline enough to keep at it. IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE. AND THAT CHANGE IS NOW!! Well, I've decided to have a Sleeve Gastrectomy done. The Doctor I've chosen is Dr. Fleix Speigle of Houston, TX. Yes, I've done my research on him, couple of my coworkers had the procedure done, So I'm GAMED! I've already had my EGD done, PERFECT! Now I'm awaiting insurance approval in which I know it's covered by my insurance so IT'S THE WAITING GAME! MEANWHILE CHECK OUT MY PHOTOS. I already know what some of you might say "you don't need that, your not fat" blah blah blah. Look I'm one many or few who carry their WELL AND WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE. but this weight has to come off. My weight at my consultation was 230.00, this was about 2 weeks ago..

I finally got a phone call from my case manager regarding insurance approval of the procedure so I'm scheduled for pre op on Monday and scheduled for my procedure on Thursday I'm super excited I'm ready to start this journey I know that theres probably going to be some hardships at first with the food but I know as long as I can keep focus and be determined and disciplined I know I can overcome it. I know some of you are like thats super duper fast but he's going to be going out of town after next week so I won't be able to get in until October and so my birthday is in November so I definitely want to lose some weight before my birthday so that's why I opt in to have the procedure next week.

Well today is the day I'm going to start my liquid diet. I was told to start monday which is my pre-op date. It would have only given me 3 days to be on it. I seen and read others being on their diet for 5-14 days. I did pig out yesterday. Y'all wish me luck!

This liquid diet isn't to bad. I've been drinking this lean protein shake from gnc. Taste pretty good. I have 3 a day and try to get water in between. No headaches just tired becuz I worked last night and got off at 715a.m. but had to go downtown. YES I'M SLEEP DEPRIVED!!! Oh did I mention I have a spoiled 5 mth old. Oh forgot to tell you all I met up with the nutritionist again today to go over the first 2 days post surgery. Very informative.

Well today I went on some errands I picked up some alive multi vitamins. I also picked up premier protein shakes "ready to go"from Walgreens. They are delicious. I also went to gnc and picked up advance whey protein powder. Went to walmart pick up more water chicken noodle soup broth crystal light. Just a few things. Since I can't take the vitamins for the first week. I didn't pick any up. I'll get those after followup appt with the surgeon. But I feel okay again today. No headaches. A little decrease in energy. I find my brain is more in tune every time i pass up a fast food joint. It's like I have this little person on my should saying "girl just get a little burger, it won't kill ya" "get that candy bar gul" it's like everything ( unhealthy food) is more pominent now. Im glad to say i didnt give in, Hard as it was. Y'all pray for me!!! Oh the things that I picked up were approved by the surgeon. I'll take pic of the things I picked up for those who want to see.

Just wanted to post what I'm doing for my liquid diet. I'll have my 1st shake around 9-930. 30 Mins later I have a bottle of water w/ or w/o crystal lyte. 1130-1200 I'll have another shake 30 Mins later water w/ or w/o crystal lyte. 2 hrs later a sugar free popsicle about 2 hours later a popsicle with a bottle of water. I try and get my last protein shake in between 530 and 630. I'll end my day with another bottle of water. Now the bottle of water are dasani water 16.9floz. So if you drink 4 of those a day. That's your minimum limit of water per day anyway. Had to resist working out on these days becuz I'm on this diet. So I don't wanna use up what I'm putting in. Not to mention I'm urinating like crazy....

Well it's the night before my surgery and I'm preparing a bag and saying my prayers. I have to be there at 6. So I'm leaving my home at about 415 a.m. anyone who lives in Houston knows that traffic is a MF'er. I'm trying to prepare myself mentally becuz it's no turning back for me. I'm ready, don't know how I will feel when I get there. I'll be posting some pics. Y'all keep me in prayers and I'll keep y'all posted

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know that I'm safe and well I'm having a lot of gas pains I've been walking since I got in my room the anaesthesia didn't make my bladder lazy so I had difficulty urinating I did interventions to make myself urinate and 3 hours later I finally urinated my energy level on a scale of 1 to 10 its probably like at 3 pardon any typos I'm under some morphine right now so that's the morphine talking not me lol.

Today was very hard for me I was severely nauseated I couldn't keep anything down I almost threw up all the nausea from the anaesthesia isn't no joke after surgery my gas pain seem like they subsided. I've been sipping sipping and walking and walking and I just can't keep it down all the nausea is horrible. keep me in your prayers and I'll do the same for y'all

Well today I'm feeling so much better. Thank you all for the prayers. my nausea has subsided able to tolerate my liquids now on they took me off of my IV fluids I am waiting to be discharged to go home I have been walking this morning I got up and took my shower and felt much better after the shower so all I'm doing now is sip sip sip and walking walking walking so nausea episode yes it was due to the gas build up in my stomach and also from the anaesthesia. that's my first time ever experiencing that but once again thank you all for the prayers and I'll keep you all updated as time goes by

Hey everyone, just checking in with you all to tell you all about my day today and as well my journey through this process of being SLEEVED!!

Well, today I had my first follow-up appt with my Dr. I weighed in at 219. That's down 16 lbs from my highest weight which was 235 and 11 lbs down from my weight right before surgery. YAY!!!. okay nah past that ISH.....ya'll it has been hard for me to SIP!! YES I SAID IT, SIP. I find myself gulping and shhhhhhhh lawd do I pay for it...which is a constant reminder " DD you better sip" what I experience when I don't sip is basically gas pains in my chest. I find that I have to "manually" make myself burp in order to get relief from the gulping. But I know day by day I will get used to it.
2ndly ya'll I'm trying my best to get my water in. In which he told me to make sure I get at least a "water bottle" in so I don't dehydrate myself. COOL!! BUT SOMETIMES I DONT FEEL LIKE IT OR I FEEL LIKE I DON'T HAVE NO ROOM IN THIS NEW STOMACH. I know it will take some time to get used too though. OH I almost forgot...Ya'll I have this freaking gas pain that's still in my shoulder and when I tell ya'll it's given me the blues with a cap B..ya'll it's killing me softly!!! I've been walking around my neighbor hood in which it's almost that time for me to go and walk so...( here in Texas baby you gotta walk when that sun go down) SO LATER YA'LL....ill take pics off all the vitamins I purchase and put up later. Thank you to all of those who kept me in prayers and keeping up with me on RS. I appreciate it!!

Okay RS....last night I decided to take a laxative to make me go. It's a chocolate laxative. Got it from Walgreens....Ooooookkkkaaayyyy. baby when I tell y'all about 5a.m. IT HIT ME!!! baby I swear I was trying to birth a baby all over again. Ya'll so freaking CONSTIPATED. MY STOMACH WAS DOING FLIPS TURNS CIRCLES SQUARES and CARTWHEELS not to mention it was upseT AND MAKING ALL KINDS OF NOISES. And Ya'll not to mention I just couldn't go. If I did pass it was drops....sorry ya'll. ... so i back doored and took a suppository... yall that little bullet definitley helped just a little but i was still miserable becuz it didnt come out like i wanted it too. You know. Thank god I'm a registered nurse and I know the tricks...so yeah I had to pull one of them out of my hat....Ya'll after about 35 minutes. ...YES 35 MINUTES 535AM TO BE EXACT. I was relieved!!!! Y'all I prayed and cried, cried and prayed afterwards and during that process. Baby when I tell you I was drainedddddddddd afterwards no energy barely enough to walk back to my bed. So Drained Lord jesus!!!! But when I hit that bed it was night night for me I could barley get up to bring the kids to scholl . But TYJ I'm up drinking a protein shake listening to this 5 month old make all his noise....

Okay i went to see the doctor on Wednesday. I lost another 5 pounds for a total of 21 pounds from my highest weight which is awesome today though I've been experiencing like hunger pains I don't know what it is but that's the only way I can describe the feeling it's like a hunger pain I'm getting my protein in and I'm getting my water in and my urine is fine so I don't know I thought maybe it was just some gas so I took a gas X. It kind of went away after that but I am tolerating more liquids without any complications I do find that if I gulp it'll be a little hard to digest. I am starting to incorporate a vitamin one at a time per my dietitian. But overall I feel great I'll keep y'all posted

Well today is my 1 month follow up with my doctor. Getting on that scale is like walking to the principles office when your in trouble...lol. Well it's been 2 weeks since I've seen my doctor and I'm glad to inform y'all that I currently weight 204...that's a 7lb weight difference since my last visit. Yayyy!!!! Cant nobody tell me a got damn thing today!!!!! :) My x-ray is awesome sleeve looking good. Incisions healing properly. Nothing negative with my visit so far. Be looking for pics sometime today yall. I'm just so happy with my journey so far. Being morbid obese isn't cute..yea I carried my weight right but I didn't want that for myself I wanted better. I wanted to be happy with me. And now I CAN FINALLY SAY IM BEGINNING TO BE HAPPY WITH ME!! Im hoping to see the 100's within the next two weeks..that's my goal y'all.

It feels so good to be in onderland again y'all I've been missing these numbers for a while now. I know I haven't been on here in a minute but I've been working and trying to work out and getting my life together, but I'm taking the time out my Sunday to update ya'll on my progress.I have been eating regular healthy foods. I've nren eating chicken breast fish shrimp vegetables. I'm still drinking my protein shakes when I'm not able to get into an adequate amount of protein a day from food. I'm still doing the premier protein shakes or i'll alternate it with the meal replacement shakes from GNC. like I said I have been working out at Planet Fitness I'm getting in at least an hour whenever I can and when I can't get to the gym I definitely try to utilize some home exercises. everyone is different so whats working for me may not work for you but you know it's always good for other people to read about the things you're doing;and how you going about meeting your goal weight. I'll keep you updated and informed. I don't go back to the doctor, I believe for another week or so for my month checkup. I'm hoping to be at least in the lower 190s by the time i go back for my follow up. I'm currently 195.

hey everyone! just wanted to update you all on my progress. Well I weighed in on Friday for my 2month post op visit and I'm happy to report that I am a whopping 191.00 lbs. YES BOOBOO!!! I'm getting there. TYJ. I'm losing more inches than anything and I can tell in my clothing. I'm in a size 13-14. I tried on a 12 and to my surprise I got in a twelve. IKR!! I'M EXCITED TOO!!!! LOL. I'm still taking my vitamins everyday. still eating the same ol' foods. I went to eat out a couple days ago with my friends and was pissed because everyone pigging out and finishing their food and here I am "4 bites and I'm stuffed" at times like that is when I hate my stomach. but I love it at the same time. lol. we have a love-hate relationship. lol. I'm happy everyone! I feel good I look good. not to mention My birthday is coming up November 27th and who is going to party....is ME!!!! lol. Well, everyone stay blessed and until my next update take it easy.
