My experience with Dr. Felix was great. He removed a basal cell carcinoma from my right ear and made my ear right again with a skin graft. The initial surgery was very easy as was the skin graft. The basal cell carcinoma was completely removed and the skin graft was perfect. Dr. Felix is professional as is his staff. I'm very pleased with everyone at Bopp Dermatology. Two weeks after surgery Angela painlessly removed the stitches. I've been discharged since everything went perfect, my skin graft is amazing. Thanks Dr. Felix and staff!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Felix for several years. I have been completely satisfied with Dr Bopp's services as well as his staff. I highly recommend Bopp Dermatology for any and all dermatologic services.
I would highly recommend Dr. Felix as a surgeon. Not only is he a terrific surgeon, he is also easy to talk to, friendly and above all sincere with his recommendations. Also, his staff is lovely and helpful and they make you feel very comfortable.
Dr. Felix Bopp did an amazing job with Botox to forehead for slight eye lift, Eye area for crows feet and chin area for dimpling. My results look natural as I requested. I was fearful that I wouldn't be able to move my forehead! I prefer a more natural look to forehead with movement. My eyes are even and I experienced no divot over right eye as I had with other injectors. Beyond thrilled with my results. He and Dr. Barbara make a great team, They re honest and will tell you if they feel something is not needed. Love them!
I give Dr. Bopp and his staff a five star rating. They made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. They showed respect and cared for my concerns/questions. I had a fractional laser performed to decrease appearance of acne scars. During my procedure, Dr. Bopp, his nurse, and other staff members went out of their way to make my procedure go as smooth as possible. So far, I'm satisfied with the results and I highly recommend this place if you're looking to improve your skin issues or simply maintain good skin care.
My recent dysport treatment with Dr. Felix Bopp was, as always, excellent. He is perfectly attuned to my needs and his bedside manner is both warm and completely professional. As has always been the case, I am completely satisfied with my recent treatment. I would also like to mention Debbie Royer, at the desk. working with her is always a pleasure she is both friendly and completely competent. My experience with her is always the perfect ending to a very positive experience.
Dr Felix Bopp did my septoplasty and I can't express how much I appreciated and enjoyed my experience! From the facility to the staff every part of it was pleasant. The girls at the front desk always welcome me with a smile and ask how I'm doing. They are very genuine and that goes a long way I think! Dr Bopp's nurses are so kind, helpful, and friendly. I know they care about me and always call me back the same day if I have any questions. They are the sweetest ladies!! During my consultation with Dr Felix we discussed my wants, needs, and desired outcome. He is very practical and realistic in his approach and I think that it's important for a doctor to give you realistic expectations for the outcome. He listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions and we booked the surgery! At the hospital he came in to see me before the surgery started and made my husband and I feel so comfortable to be in his hands! After the surgery was over he called my husband that night to check on me, and called me the next day to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything. At the post op, when I got my cast off I was brought to tears when I looked in the mirror to see that the results were above and beyond what I imagined!! I am so happy with the outcome and would encourage anyone who wanted or needed nose surgery to go with him, you won't be disappointed! I can't say enough about how awesome Dr Feilx Bopp and his team are!!! THANK YOU!!
Do Bopp is the best. He has the best bedside manner of any physician I know. He is a perfectionist with his treatments and always makes sure you are happy with your results. I have had several different treatments with him and always get compliments from friends on how good it looks. He really knows what he is doing. His staff is amazing. I can call anytime with questions and they are always there to help. The office environment is so relaxing.....like day spa. I have never written a review for a doctor, but Dr Bopp really deserves this one. I won't go anywhere else. Anyone I refer to him is very happy with their treatments.
I've been a patient of Dr Bopp for over a decade now & I'm a very happy customer. He takes the time to listen to what I want out of my treatment. He always caters to my goal to appear natural & take a very conservative approach. Highly recommend.
Dr. Bopp and his laser tech, Christine Thompson, were both wonderful. I went in for a consultation for my face. I plan to have the co2 laser. Dr. Bopp and Christine both took their time explaining the procedure and other options to me. I can't wait to have it done and would definitely recommend my friends to their office.
Based on the photo you provided, I would not suggest going back on Accutane. I normally suggest being off of Accutane for a minimum of 12 months prior to an aggressive laser treatment. I also suggest using a topical Retin-A product with Hydroquinone for at least a month prior to treating the skin with a fractionated laser. This combination will prepare your skin for the laser and may even help with the breakouts by helping with exfoliation. You would then discontinue using that product about 3 days prior to treatment and begin using it again about 2-4 weeks post procedure depending on your healing. I would like to suggest you seeing a local facial plastic surgeon for another opinion as well. I wish you the best!
I would suggest going to the doctor who did the original biopsy and getting clarification on your diagnosis. Basal Cell IS skin cancer, it is NOT precancerous. As you stated the nose is very sensitive. I normally have my patients take something for pain and/or an antianxiety medication by mouth prior to my injections them to numb them up on the nose. Ice can also be applied to the area prior to injections. After the injections, patients normally only feel a little pressure or pulling, but nothing painful. I would also suggest that you see a facial plastic surgeon to close the site if further surgery is required. They have specialized training that will help give you the best scarring possible. From the picture you included the site appears to have gotten rather large, Please don't let this go any longer than absolutely necessary. Best of Luck
It is perfectly normal to still have swelling at this point, especially in the upper lip area. It is too soon to tell if the small bump just above your incision will settle down, but it should. Be patient, it can take up to a year to achieve your final result from surgery. You should be able to tell a big difference about a week after your suture removal though. Best of luck!
Without seeing before pictures it is difficult to say if your surgeon may have just been a bit conservative in your surgery. I believe in doing an open brow lift as opposed to the type of lift you had. My results are consistent and they last. You do have a slightly longer recovery time, but the results are well worth it. My incisions are hidden either in the scalp or at the hairline. They hide well. The numbness and tingling you are experiencing should get better with time. Remember, it can take 6 months to a year for ALL of the swelling to resolve and for you to have your final result.
It is normal to have swelling and tenderness at this point in the healing process. I agree that your skin appears too dry in the photo. I normally suggest Aquaphor or Elta Moisturizer for the 1st week to ten day. I also normally suggest 1 cup of cool water with 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to help ease the initial "hot" feeling you have and it will also help to exfoliate the dead skin a little quicker. However, you need to moisturize well after the vinegar as it tends to dry the skin out a bit. Moisturizing should be your main concern at this time. It looks like you should have an amazing result soon with continued improvement over the next few months.
