Hi, I am a 28 year old female in good health with a few 20-30 pounds overweight. I have a gastric balloon placement appointment set up this week. I am having fears as to when can I start my usual HIIT workouts (with weights) and 5Ks. I am also fearful of a risk of gastric perforation or bowel obstruction. I am having a breast reduction surgery and liposuction on the abdomen and flanks this December. However, I am considering and planning on having a Gastric Sleeve. It seems like you had good results from your previous procedure and you are still having good eating habits. Your weight gain could be related with stress. I had Roux-en-Y in 2004 . My pouch enlarged and I had a lapband put in place in 2013 . I started having servere gas and stomach pain. Barium swallow showed an enlarged stoma and slipped lapband. The EGD showed no erosion and no slippage for the lapband. My doctor wants to pull the lapband, however i am afraid with an enlarged stoma my problem of gas and stomach discomfort will not end. Hello, I have decided on having VSG in the near future but my arms are significantly larger than other parts of my body. I am almost certain I will have loose skin there and would hate it. Is it smart to do arm lipo and VSG at the same time to void loose skin in the future for the area?
