I’m 17 years post-op from a breast augmentation Dr. Blomain gave me when I was 18. They’re still perfect! There’s a wait to get in there, but for very obvious reason—as someone else wrote, he’s a true master of his craft. I was a small A, and told him (in my infinite wisdom at 18 yo) that i only wanted to be a B. He pleaded with me to go to a large C. Luckily I listened, because I’ve never had a single regret in either direction. His offices aren’t fancy, but they’re perfectly functional, which allows him to charge a fair rate for a superior experience. I’m now eagerly starting to decide what I’m going to do when it’s time to get them redone, and I’m SO thankful I have him to do them again. I’d give him ten stars if I could!
My experience with Dr. Blomain was wonderful from start to finish. He’s a veteran in his craft and knows his profession like the back of his hand. I trusted him and his surgical team to choose the right implant size based on my photos and description, and they came out exactly like I had imagined.
Doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, he diagnosed and surgically corrected a condition that other doctors had missed. When I had complications (no fault of anyone) doctor let me come in asap and seen me same day! I will add that, yes you will wait a long time in the waiting room, but I wont take that away from my rating of his knowledge and care. He is well worth the wait!
After years of hating my body due to extremely small breasts and many talks with my husband about getting BA I finally made an appointment with Dr. Blomain. I was extremely nervous on the first visit but he put me right at ease with his kind words and understand. His staff is top notch and very efficient. I saw Dr. Blomain 4 times before my surgery to discuss everything pros and cons. He delighted me with antics of his profession and made me feel important. I'm 8 days post op and am thrilled with the results. Dr. Blomain has me call into the office daily to check in with staff, I see him every couple of days to ensure all is well. I highly recommend him to anyone considering BA. i would love to submit before and after photos however my hubby wouldn't be to thrilled with that :) they are spectacular tho!
So far the recovery was the easiest part in terms of pain. I had slight pain/discomfort for the first 3 days felt almost like a hard chest workout with the feeling of your milk coming in like after having a baby. I had 450cc saline placed submuscular. My one boob appeared larger immediately after surgery and still does and I'm working on 3 weeks post op.....right now I'm not sure all the money was worth this headache of the unknown. Updated on 8 Jul 2014: Realizing one boob s a lot bigger than other and lop sided.... Updated on 8 Jul 2014: Seeing PS in am....still unhappy with results.... Completely uneven Updated on 8 Jul 2014: PS doesn't seem concerned about the difference between boobs. PS said it will come down received new/more massage techniques... I'm still not pleased! Updated on 11 Jul 2014: I am just not sure of this all....:( not sure if its just an adjustment period but, I'm thinking flat and fabulous was alot better!!! Updated on 14 Jul 2014: The left breast is still higher than the right but I do see slight changes in it....Wednesday July 16th I will be 4 weeks post op hoping it all works out beautifully!!! Also, my boobs hit the washer machine a I leaned it to get the clothes..... That's a first!! ;) lol Updated on 16 Jul 2014: Today I am 4 wks post op 450cc saline submuscular and my boobs have made huge changes in just one week. My left was sitting higher and was larger but it has since dropped a little more and seems to be catching up to the right one.. I'm feeling better about m decision because the look I desired is coming through.....my PS seemed confident the entire time I wish I had just relaxed more and not obsessed I mean he isvery good at his job and known for being a perfectionist..... Updated on 21 Jul 2014: Hoping my PS will let me get rid of this huge surgical bra and allow me to wear a real bra!!! A sexy girlie real bra....bra shopping for the 1 st time ;) Updated on 22 Jul 2014: Went to my week 5 post op appt today. Week 5 is actually tomorrow(Wednesday ) but all my post op appts are on Tuesdays the day before. I decided to have a rhinoplasty done to improve my appearance. My nose was never large. I did have sinus issues, but motivation was predominantly cosmetic. I did not shop around for a doctor. I went to a local plastic surgeon who should stick to helping people after burns and accidents and stop his cosmetic work. I have had quite a few procedures done at 26 years old and rhinoplasty was by far the most miserable and disgusting. Not only that, but my nose looks wider than before. It doesn't look awful, but he did not do what I asked. So do not settle. I now travel within the United States for all of my procedures. Board certified does not always mean that they are good cosmetic surgeons. After 2 other planned procedures I will probably do a nose revision and go much smaller to achieve a doll look next year. Sadly, I will be paying to have the same thing to be done twice. Now I research for months before deciding on doctors.
I rescheduled this procedure from 2/2015, and am very excited to be counting down the days again. I am starting at 155 lbs but am going to make every effort to bring that number down for a better result. I have been reading everyone's posts and have made my to do list and shopping list. I plan on taking 6 weeks off from work (no idea how THAT will go over). My husband has already put in for 1 week off to help me, after that I have 2 teens that can help drive me to post op checks as well. I am so excited and really cannot wait now that I made the decision and have a date!!!
