It's not uncommon to see bruising like this after 2 days. It will continue to improve in the following days. The good news is that the bruising will resolve with time. The most important thing is to communicate with your aesthetic provider your concerns and have him/her directly address them. Injection of dermal filler in the tear trough area can be challenging. The skin is very thin and sensitive and the orbicularis muscle can bleed a bit - leading to bruising and swelling, whether a direct needle or cannula technique is used. A common approach is to use a cannula for the deep (supraperiosteal) injection combined with a superficial intradermal injection. Good Luck and Happy July 4th!
