The best in the business- Pre-op care, intraoperative care, and post operative care incredible. Every single question you can possibly have is answered with the app she provides. TAPP blocks intra-operative there which are amazing for pain control post abdominalplasty. I had an issue with the narcotic that was prescribed to me and immediately the following morning was able to get a different prescription. She even provides her personal cell phone but is to only be used for emergency for after hours.

For some reason I wasn’t able to complete my review.? With Dr. Hall Findlay you feel like a person and not just a dollar sign. Her main concern is that you are satisfied. I’ve been a nurse for 20+ years and I have worked with five different plastic surgeons, I’ve seen my fair share of doctors. I wouldn’t have anyone else do the surgery on me other than her!!

I went to Dr. Hall-Findlay because I was having a labiaplasty and was more comfortable with a woman doctor doing the procedure. With COVID, my previously booked abdominoplasty surgery was going to be delayed so I ended up going to a different surgeon. I wish I would have just waited for Dr. Hall-Findlay. She is an absolute gem. Her bedside manner is unmatched. She even called me a couple days after my procedure on a Sunday to make sure I was doing okay. It truly blew my mind. I will definitely be booking with her for any other procedures in the future.

My experience was incredible with Dr Hall Findlay. It’s been 7 years now and I finally have the courage to post my experience so others can make an informed decision, plus know you are not alone! I trust her to do always the right thing and help her patients out no matter what! Please, Take time to read my experience it was life changing!

I had tuberous breast deformity which caused a lot of suffering and depression (feeling ugly, not fitting into clothes or bras, being out of proportion as 5”10, the worst was when men asked what’s wrong with my boobs... ouch) I thought they would “grow in” but once I hit my 20s and realized my boobs never changed from puberty, that’s when I started to research. I looked long and hard for more information on this but couldn’t find much online or many doctors who had experience with tuberous breasts. I caved in and asked my family physician for a referral. Dr Hall Findlay was very knowledgeable in the consultation. Even when I asked about tuberous breasts she gave me some options, mostly my choice cuz I liked my nipples I didn’t want to have them moved if I didn’t require it! She also had newer breast implants that were cohesive gel “gummy bear” this interested me even more as being an elite athlete, I didn’t want leaking or other problems to impede my sports.

The procedure was done in 2013.(it’s been 6 years as of me writing this) Before going in I had to fill my prescriptions; I am allergic to codeine and requested an alternative pain medication which was given with no problems thankfully! When I woke up I felt a bit nauseating but the nurses helped me through it. Fast forward a few weeks. At first everything was going smoothly. I was healing well, the pain medication was properly prescribed and worked well during my healing. I was doing great and thought I could return to work shortly; that is until the accident I had!

My friend gave me a big bear hug and that knocked my left breast-and it hurt really bad! The type of pain I’ve never experienced before, extreme Intense pain and adrenaline instantly. (Doc said it was hematoma) My heart racing and me sweating, I ran inside and checked the bathroom mirror only to see my left breast increasing in size right before my eyes. It was really scary, and painful that I thought I was gonna vomit. I got my fiancée to call the ambulance while I lay on the bathroom floor, feeling as if I was dying. They instantly administered morphine and rushed me to the Calgary hospital (which was a problem, the docs in Calgary didn’t want to touch another docs plastic surgery work! The emergency plastic surgeon at the Calgary hospital said I would have to lose my breast implant and re implant later and I was freaking out!)

Dr Hall Findlay had given me her cell phone number in case of emergencies (thank god!) and she promptly responded when I sent pictures and asked what do I need to do cuz I didn’t want to lose my breast. Dr Hall Findlay went out of her way to accommodate my travel to Banff, hotel costs for my family, and anything needed, she even contacted her preferred surgeon
(Dr. Thomas Sinclair) to take over as she was away at a teaching conference and wouldn’t be able to fly back fast enough. OMG I was instantly relieved! We drove to the Banff springs hospital at midnight lol where they cared for me with respect and empathy plus answered all my questions and concerns while reassuring me I wouldn’t lose my breast. And off I went to surgery again only a month after my initial BA. I got the proper pain medication, the surgery went well with the other surgeon.

Dr hall Findlay filled out my insurance paperwork, and helped me out anyway she could offer as I couldn’t go back to work just yet. She continued to check up on me, monitored my healing and took pictures to show the changes. I’m so thankful for everything she has done and trust her expertise and decisions. My breasts look a million times better then what I had before! Plus they are extremely soft and bouncy, no rippling. Everybody who’s seen them thinks they are real ;)

As of today 7 years- i went for a checkup: I still wanted more cleavage/bigger implants but was told it’s difficult due to my anatomy. So the only other is some minor adjustments I’d like corrected in the future (ptosis)

Thank you Dr Hall Findlay and the team! I will always go back, and refer all my friends. You’ve changed my life to make me feel confident and beautiful-something I had never ever experienced with my tuberous breasts!

My breasts look and feel like the real deal after my surgery. Dr. Hall-Findlay performed a mastopexy-augmentation on February 15 Th. It has been about 8 months and the scars are fading and these breasts LOOK and FEEL to be a perfect NATURAL. 36C. The doctor is warm and personable. She is fun to chat with as she sees the humorous side of life. She is brilliant within her craft and is curious and engaged with her patients. I realized right away that she enjoys what she does. Dr. Hall-Findlay was recommended to me by a close friend of mine who was a plastic surgeon from eastern Canada. My friend was based out of Los Angeles, were I lived at the time. I had asked my friend to do some research for me on breast reconstruction doctors in Canada. Particularly in western Canada were I am originally from. I had been threw a horrible first breast aug with a doctor in Vancouver when I was 19 years old. I made the mistake of allowing him to operate on me knowing that he had little to no experience at an under the muscle position breast operation. You guessed it. I came out of that surgery botched. One breast bone muscle was cut into much to far down my body and one wasn't cut enough. Resulting in one breast that always looked like it had a noticeable ridge (divot) under it and lopsided looking breasts. Making no doubt that I had big fake bags stuck on my chest. The breasts also sat up so high on my chest they were almost at my throat. I did get my breast implants larger to try to fill out the divots after the first augmentation. But did not have any major reconstruction done afterwards. My Doctor, who was a friend was hesitant to make lots of scarring on a 24 year old which is expected in a breast lift. Fast forward a couple decades. I knew I would be in good hands with Dr. Hall-Findlay, as my friend found and recommended her to me. She is a teacher to her colleagues and truly respected and admired. I recommend her to anyone searching out a doctor who is an artist in reconstructing breasts. Or if you just want to guarantee to yourself you will have a perfect natural breast augmentation ETC. It was a delight to meet her and have her as my doctor. Five Stars.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Elizabeth Hall-Findlay. My only regret is not going sooner. I finally feel like myself after my breast augmentation. Dr. Elizabeth Hall-Findlay and her staff are compassionate and kind. Dr. Hall-Findlay has a practical, matter-of-fact, science-based attitude while still being warm and friendly. She is clear about communicating what can and can't be achieved and what the actual risks are. My recovery was very smooth and I now have a very natural look that just looks like my own body. I will write a more detailed write-up soon with pictures to help people learn what to expect, but in the mean time I cannot recomment Dr. Hall-Findlay enough!

My surgery was a year ago and I couldn’t be happier. Elizabeth is easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. A relaxed and competent person who answered all of my questions and any time I had new questions was there. During my recovery I got sick so I texted and she called me back (it was a Sunday and I had a fever of 103). She walked me through everything and was wonderful. I have recommended her many times and will continue to do so. She is brilliant and her staff is kind, funny, helpful and wonderful.

THREE WEEKS BEFORE THE BIG DAY! And I’m sooo nervous but so excited all at once. I’m the idea of a breast reduction has been in the back of my mind since I was a teenager. I finally have - very supportive partner and the means to have it done, so I’m going for it! But I’m traumatized lol I have never been under general anesthesia and that’s what scares me the most out of this whole thing.
Anyway!! I have been reading all of the stories in here and I feel better knowing that so many women choose to do this. I also have my mother an two aunties who went through it.
Please tell me all i need to know before the big day.

So, since I’ll be spending most of my days at home resting, I decided to binge shop and get lots of fuzzy and warm pyjamas (it’s also winter and cold where I live). I bought a long sleep fuzzy top with a front zipper and a fuzzy house coat with a front zipper as well.
Also, I bought a button up plaid shirt for the day of the surgery, cause I don’t own one since they never worked with the big boobies...
16 days to the big day! Today, i was more excited than nervous :)

Hi all!
One more week until my surgery. I am mostly excited with a little bit of anxiety. It’s normal I guess.ive never been under general anesthetic so I’m mostly anxious about that!
I have been so extremely busy with school and getting my house ready for Xmas that i haven’t had much time to think about it. Now I’m staring to think about what to have on hand. I have to drive 1.5 hours to my surgeon so we are sleeping in a hotel the night before and the first night after surgery.
To all you ladies who have had this done before. What should I bring with me for that first night?

Three days before my surgery and this is what I’m doing... the nerves are definitely kicking in. And I’m going through the whole «  they’re not so big » phase.
But the truth is, as I write this, My neck is sore as hell and I have a headache from it.
And this neck tension will most likely in the year after my surgery.
My posture has changed dramatically in the last ten years.
I kinda regret not doing it earlier in my life.
If you’re young and reading this- I say do it!! Cause the posture does not get any better. Not my posture is so bad that I have had chronic neck and shoulder pain for about 6 year... physio, massage, chiro... nothing seems to work.
So yes! This is one of the main reasons why I’m doing this! In the hopes that it will help.

More fear than pain def!
Minimal pain.limbs feel heavy. I managed to eat a bit nap a bit and walk a bit today- to get fresh air.
Drank and peed a lot!!!
No nausea or dizziness so far. Taking nothing but Celebrex, Tylenol and clonezapam ( for my anxiety)
No codeine necessary yet.
Doc took more out than originally thought she would.
I feel light as a feather!!!!! Up in the neck anyway. Not in the limbs lol

Just woke up the morning after surgery. And what hurts the most is my throat and my lipo regions.
But still no need for narcotics. Seeing my surgeon this morning before driving home. I’m glad I didn’t drive home yesterday.
I haven’t yet gone out of bed today, but I can already tell that I feel stronger.
Nothing much else to report, aside that through times like these, you really get to see who your true friends are.

I can believe how fast I got my first poo! About 16 hours after I woke up. Lots and lots of fluids! Plus lax a day and psyllium husk in water. Also nibbling on mainly fruits.
My throat is still pretty sore today, but honestly, so far it’s my only complaint.
I saw my surgeon this morning- hence the photos- and she was amazed by my new boobs lol
Everyone said they looked really good for first day post op.
Eating has been hard. I hate eating on a good day, so now eating is the worst! Can’t wait to go back to my protein shakes tomorrow. M surgeon asked me not to take protein powder for 2 weeks pre op and 48 hours post op... weird uhh? Oh well, I better listen!
So y’a, this is my update not that anybody cares lol
But if I can help any one not feel too afraid to do this then it’ll be worth it!
Honestly, I was expecting way worst!

When I’m awake, I try to move as much as I can - to avoid blood clot. It’s my obsession- but I have to nap every 3-4 hours it’s seems. And I sleep through the night for the most part as well. My life is kinda boring right now!! But it’s a short time boredom for a lifelong benefit. And I’d rather heal well- so when I’m tired I sleep! Although, I am curious to know when I’m my regular stamina will return cause I’m normally quite lively and energetic by nature.

Day 4 post op - lollipop incisions- barely taking anything for pain anymore.
I am loving my new Breast!! 100 percent recommend this surgery.

There is times when I forget that I had this surgery only a little over a week ago and I get to excited and do too much! Has that happen to any of you? Plus, I don’t feel much pain at all so it’s hard to gauge what is too much. But today i know I did to much because tonight, my boobs feel warm and bigger and harder than usual. And this scares me. I hope I didn’t wreck them!!
I’m now laying on my recliner and hopefully get a good night sleep. Hope tomorrow is better!
I wonder if I should take an anti-inflammatory.
I have been off of any type of medicine for 4 days now.
Anyway! Hope everyone else is doing good!

My right breast has numbness on the side. I think it might be from the liposuction... I’m still somewhat swollen and bruised in the sides.
I’m curious to know if anyone else experienced that? And if so, how long before it came back to normal?

I haven’t posted in a month. I did way to much over the holidays- shortly after my BR -and I paid for it! My body went into this shut down mode. I felt tired and shaky. Like a adrenal fatigue type of sensation. Completely exhausted! But now, I am Almost back to normal. That was scary! It IS A BIGGER SURGERY than we think. REST REST REST
Also, trying to get back into training has been tricky. My muscles around my breast and rib cage are tight and weak. I am working with a physio to get my range of motion back on track- one step forward two steps back- I think I may have PULLED MUSCLE under the breast from just STRETCHING at 8 weeks!!! Seems odd to me! Anyone else have had that?
As my photo shows- I have a bit of wrinkled skin, but the surgeon swears that it will resolve on its own! Can’t wait lol anyone else have that with vertical scars?!?
HOPE EVERYONE IS HEALING WELL!!

Waiting to hear when my consult date is, so far have not heard a single bad or even mediocre review! Her staff so far have been incredible answering emails and preliminary questions. Hopefully get the call in the nect day or two to get my journey started!

Dr. Hall-Findlay and her while team blew all my expectations out of the water! She was so honest and her years of experience really made me feel comfortable, calm and I trusted her from start to finish. Her staff are some of the nicest, caring women I have ever met and the whole experience at the hospital was streamlined and the staff there were also warm, welcoming and calming to myself as well as my friend that was with me.
My nerves going into the surgery were next to 0 because I had every emailed concern addressed almost immediately and was given every piece of information I needed or asked for. 
Can't say enough good things about my experience and only 1DPO and the results are already so incredible. It was such an emotionally happy moment to feel so feminine in my skin for the first time in 25 years!

5'5" 145lbs, athletic build. Started at an unfilled 32/34B - Finish - Hoping for a 34C/32D
350cc mentor xtra, moderate plus profile, over the muscle. 
First night post op... What a breeze! Tight chest but keeping up on low key pain meds and having pretty much no discomfort. My PS was AMAZING, all my Western Canadian girls definitely look her up! 
Excited to see if I get some side boob, and how they'll settle! I left the hospital and my PS said she doesn't care if I wear a bra or not but sleeping felt better to me with one on. Get to shower all the cleaner and markings off today too, woohoo. Have no arm motion issues just sore as if I had a good shoulder/chest day at the gym and so far everything has exceeded my expectations with even the first day! So in love with this journey so far and the thought of having a feminine look on my body!

It has been 8 years and a pregnancy (37lb weight gain and loss) since my BR with Dr. H-F and i am still so pleased. I went from an F/G to a C cup. She is realistic and rational and absolutely worth every red cent. I would recommend her to anyone.

I'm absolutely in love with my new chest! However I think I may have needed a bit of a lift as my implants sit pretty low at the moment. When I started it wasn't apparent because of how little tissue I actually had to start with. The cost was pretty high, especially for this area but I'm impressed and happy with the results! I finally look like a woman.
