Hello, I am a 5 year patient of Dr S. He is the absolute best, anyone who works in plastic surgery including other doctors/nurses want to be his patient other plastic surgeons have commented on his flawless work that I had done. He makes you look refreshed. I have genetic predisposition to premature aging and facial laxity, so my face started showing aging a little younger than expected. I already reviewed him before on my under eye blepharoplasty and endoscopic brow lift in or around May/June 2021, I did this for my wedding in 2022. I looked completely flawless. Now in 2023/2024, I wanted to address the lower laxity in my neck, and lower face, he did a mini face lift for me on 1/19/24, his pre op, and post op care is above and beyond, he is "old school" his bed side manner and customer service spares no expense, he will give you 1-2 hours of his time any time he sees you just to make sure you feel and are PERFECTLY taken care of, he is probably one of the best facial plastic surgeons in the country. It doesn't matter how much extra pre or post care you may need he provides it. (He is also a master at botox, fillers, and anything else, he knows all the muscles and bone lines to add to rejuvenate a face) I will say if you are doing a mini lift stock up on electrolytes and also protein smoothies. I had to have a little extra post op electrolytes IV because I only stocked up on soft foods, but not liquid foods, that was my fault entirely. Dr S prices are fair, he spares no expense and you can text him any time. I am going to share some pics from the 2021 procedure after, for the mini lift I started feeling like myself 7 days post op (next time I do work I will plan it better, I personally need a full week of rest), my healing was slower, initially due to not having gatorade or protein smoothies on hand, I plan to get a full face lift again by 50 (neck/eyes/forhead/lower face IF needed, I may not need it), I am 39 now, I truly worry that Dr S (that's my husbands nickname for him) I worry he will retire. Please note that I know a lot about plastic surgery, I have been interested in it for years. Dr. S will never do a procedure you don't need, because he is not in this for the money, he has a talent and a craft and he is one of the best. He will always encourage realistic refreshed expectations and results so you look like YOU, only well rested and well aged. I used to feel embarrassed about sharing my photos, but at my age, nearly 40, I want everyone to know it's okay to tell the world you had plastic surgery to feel and look your best. I want other patients to know who they can trust with their life!
Dr. Szachowicz is an absolute wonder! I am in my late 40s and very nervous to get any work done for fear of being over done. He was very conservative in his approach and used my natural contours and photos from my past as a guide. His recommendations, were spot on (BOTOX: 11s, corner of eyes, brow, bunny lines, large temporal muscles; FILLER: lips and under eyes) and his injections were clearly guided by a professional and skilled hand. He adds filler slowly, adding a little and then you come back and tweak over time. After hearing and seeing so many botched jobs (particularly where filler is concerned), I was nervous to move forward, but with Dr. Szachowicz practiced hand, I look amazing and I am so glad I finally did it!! Even my mother who was against my getting injections said she was so glad I did it because the result was so good and natural, I just looked like a younger version of myself! I recommend him whole heartedly!!
I had and endoscopic brow lift, under eye blepharoplasty, Botox and fillers. From Dr Edward Szachowicz at his old location, he did move but still operating in similar areas and he is amazing I hope he doesn't retire anytime soon he did so good my face looks super natural. He did almost a 2 hour initial consult free he was so picky about getting my photos right I knew he was the best surgeon based on how OCD he is with detail. I look refreshed. One of my eyes was almost completely hooded at age 37! So he pulled everything together. He also talked me out of any unnecessary extra stuff he did filler in my nasolabial area and Botox to relax my forehead before the surgery. You can't tell I've had work I just look so refreshed and natural for my age.Seriously I pray he doesn't retire anytime soon. His expertise is unmatched - his attention to detail is the best I've seen that's what u want for your face. His initial quote was free and time the time he put in it and pricing is extremely fair. He also has a really nice assistant.
I first met with Dr. Szachowicz in 1996. He is extremely caring, personable, gentle, an artist, and a perfectionist. His office is beautiful, with staff being efficient and top-notch as well. From Botox to facelifts, he is the best of the best.
Dr. Szachowicz gave me exactly what I wanted and I'm so thankful! I was nervous because I was hoping for a subtle change and didn't want to look over done, but it turned out perfect. I was given a simulation of the result along with a ton of information at my consultation. He didn't over promise and then ended up delivering way higher than I expected. I also had an appointment the day after surgery to answer any questions/concerns. Recovery was super easy and way less painful than my wisdom teeth. These pictures are only around a week post op. Not a huge change but makes a big difference in my profile and when I smile, almost looks like I got chin liposuction too. Highly recommend this doctor!!
I have been going to Dr. Edward Szachowicz for over a year now. He has face fillers and botox, performed on me. I have been simply astounded by the results. My family and friends just keep telling me I look great & younger, but not one of them knows I had work done. He is an artist, pure and simple, and has the best bed-side manner. I am always thrilled with the results and the experience. Never felt better. He just performed filler on my lips. They went from being deflated to beautiful luscious lips instantly! They also look lifted that make me look younger.
I have seen Dr. Szachowicz exclusively for the last four years. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is knowledgeable, thorough and he doesn't try to sell you on something you're not interested in. He is ALWAYS a physician first. He listens carefully and adjusts your plan accordingly. I started off with fillers of some kind, but settled on Sculptra because I liked the look better on me and I wasn't concerned about "waiting" for results. His injections are flawless and I've never bruised. I have consistently had good, natural looking results. He takes his time and painstakingly prepares you for every step of the procedure. I recommend him without reservation. His office assistant, Victor, is a gem. He is professional and welcoming. As I have no experience with his surgical practice, I can't comment on it. For everything else, he has exceeded my expectations.
I am a 61 female. I was hoping that a full facelift including chin implant, cheeks done, eye's done along with all the pain and expense I went through; I would of thought I wouldn't have sagging skin already on my face. Yes, I still look better than I did before these procedures but sagging skin isn't what I would of expected after only 18 months. I wanted to do the full facelift because I didn't want to continue with Botox and Injections any more but I guess that is not the case. I would go back to the Dr., but I don't want to go though more procedures or injectables and I promised my husband that I wouldn't do any more plastic surgery. He was very worried during the all day surgery and then taking care of me after the surgery.
I was researching whether to have a chin implant and potentially jaw angle implants or even a sliding genioplasty. I had septorhinoplasty December of the prior year to correct a deviated septum and large dorsal hump. After several months of research, I felt very confident in proceeding with Dr. Szachowicz to correct a pretty heavily receded chin. As a male, I felt this part of my appearance did not reflect my personality and was always a source of self-consciousness. The procedure itself was easy and the recovery was much better than the septorhinoplasty. There was some scary swelling the first few days, but that was expected and ultimately quickly subsided. I was barely able to fit into a large flowers mandibular glove implant given my facial structure but was happy I could. I am not sure I would have been happy with a smaller implant. Post procedure I was not able to feel any trace that the implant was moving or that something was amiss. To be extra sure nothing shifted, I had a titanium bone screw used as part of the procedure to fasten the implant in place. It looks completely natural and I am absolutely pleased with the result! I have to say that this procedure along with other prior procedures have enabled me to go about in an office environment undetected and also undetected with family members unless I had revealed the procedures. There has been a tremendous amount more attention and compliments received but no one could quite pinpoint anything. I wish I had done this a decade earlier but costs and not being informed at a young age precluded this. This is certainly a life changing procedure and I am happy to undergone this. This subtle change makes an immeasurable difference to your appearance.
Dr, "Sz" & Office Mgr Sharon were both truly Kind & Caring throughout the entire process. Dr. Sz's skill is right on the mark - 100%. I'm amazed at the sincere kindness & comfort given by both. They're professional, down-to-earth & not vulgar (I don't want to Look @ pic's of Naked Women in their advertising.) I will honestly say, from the bottom of my heart "I recommend this office!"
In certain circumstances a necklift can be accomplished with only one incision under the chin. However, depending on the nature of the skin laxity, the neck muscles (platysma muscles) need to be drawn to the side through limited incisions behind and in front of the ears. This is especially important when liposuction is performed. Often, some Botox to the platysma muscles can help with the muscle banding- I would suggest this as a next step.
Congratulations on your 65 lb. weight loss. The fat pads in the face, which provide youthful fullness and contour, can shrink (fat atrophy) with any significant weight loss. Without the structure and support of the soft tissue, areas of your face can look hollow and the overlying skin losses support. A non-surgical solution would include dermal fillers, such as Sculptra or gel dermal fillers. Sculptra is my choice when the atrophy is widespread (panfacial), and reliably re-contours the face by stimulating your own body to produce new collagen. Results are gradual over several treatments. Surgery, such as a facelift and necklift, is the best answer when the skin is lax. A good candidate for surgery would have jowling along the jawline, and neck fullness or lax skin in the neck. At the time of surgery, fat grafting is a good answer to replace volume in the areas of facial fat atrophy. It is wise to be conservative when filling with fat, in the event of some bounce back in your weight.
Enlargement of the clench muscles (masseter muscles) of the lower jaw is common. Overuse of the clench muscles often occurs during sleep, and therefore reoccurs every night.Botox can reduce the intensity of the clenching and, with repeated use, can cause the masseter muscles to get smaller due to atrophy. In my clinic, I have never seen problems with speech or eating with my Botox protocol.Injectable fillers are often added to balance the overall shape of the face, after the masseter muscles have reduced in appearance.
Sculptra is a unique filler in that it stimulates your own body to produce new collagen. I often begin in the cheek region to replace what is missing and to "anchor" the upper cheek. After over 10 years of experience, I find that a strategic correction of the cheek contour can also significantly improve the appearance of the lower eyelid area.
In my practice, I treat all the facelift incisions with the Fraxel restore resurfacing laser, after surgery. The Fraxel restore has been studied and has been found to improve the appearance of surgical scars after several treatments. My patients are very receptive to the treatments and have good reviews of the outcomes.
