Fantastic experience! Very kind, caring and did an excellent job with the breast reduction (38H to full C or small D). Kept me informed about the process and procedure. Followed up as planned and answered all my questions along the way. Highly recommend!!!
Dr. Levy was great. The results are beautiful and it's only been 2 weeks. I would go back and recommend him to anyone. He is very professional caring and efficient. After care has been above and beyond. From the first appointment to now two weeks out consistent and very happy with the look and symmetry. Scars are barely there. And he was very understanding of why a woman would want a reduction. All around see Dr. LEVY IF YOU WANT TO BE 100 PERCENT SATISFIED.
I'm an exotic dancer who was just very displeased with my breasts and stomach area, I've always had big breast that sagged pretty bad ... I will admit I should have researched more docs ... Immediately I noticed after surgery I noticed that my breast were uneven. The left is much bigger,he told me it was a little more swollen than the other ( almost 3 years later it still is bigger) my breast still sag more than if like. With the lipo I ended up having a revision because I felt my results for the price were not optimal ... My belly was slightly uneven and still pretty pudgy. Ended up paying an additional 1200 for facility fees for the revision ... My stomach is still slightly uneven around my belly button ... I know it's been almost three years but I'm considering another breast reduction due to the fact that they've grew bk a little and more lipo . I'll upload pics as soon as I can ... I wish i had initial post op pics but it's been a while Updated on 9 Aug 2014: Ok so I've decided since I was never completely satisfied with my lipo to have more done ... ( leavin well enough alone with my breast) scheduled a consultation with doctor Goldman for sept 5th !!! I'm so excited! Please share any experiences with him ! I'd love to hear them Updated on 9 Aug 2014: Still really hate my asymmetric , mildly saggy scarred boob. And my areolas had pretty bad tension wounds...ugh. Dealing with them for now. No kids so maybe after I have them I can have a revision surgery done Updated on 9 Aug 2014: Not too much work to achieve desired results ... Boobs look ok from a small distance Updated on 9 Aug 2014: Kim k is 5'2 and wide with a big butt, but her midsection (front n back) is smooth. I'm 5'1 also wide and bottom heavy .... My other wish bodies have long torsos which makes me think my body just may not be shaped right to achieve the look Updated on 10 Aug 2014: Maybe I'll ask about lipo from the bigger boob for more symmetrical breast. .... Updated on 10 Aug 2014: This was a kinda stressful time in my life .... However I was a really nice size but still wider than I desired ( this was an awesome angle) Updated on 19 Aug 2014: Sept 25 !! I'm having full body lipo ... I don't think I can be more excited.. Lia the coordinator has been awesome !! I just wish i would have been this meticulous choosing a surgeon the first time ! Going to be staying I believe at Vanitys Recovery house, if anyone will be goin at that time I'm cool with buddying up !! Updated on 2 Sep 2014: By this time next month I will be in Miami, having blood work done in preparation for full body lipo with dr. Fisher. This will include upper and lower abdomen, flanks, and full back ! I am optimistic simply because I believe in Dr. Fishers work, also im starting off at a good shape/size, so fingers crossed! I will be staying at Vanitys Recovery home! I am so excited its all I think about lol. All is left to do is pay my 200$ balance for the recovery home and book the flights!!! I cant believe Im having this done again.... !!!! Updated on 20 Oct 2014: So here it is a day before my scheduled flight to Miami, and 2 days before my surgery here comes vanity calling saying my surgeon Ghurani may not be available and that another doc is available ( mercado? ) NO NO NO . I already didn't want to change from fisher but it was my fault so ok. But I am not comfortable with this guy who's name I am hearing for the first time ! At this point I'm aggravated I can't change my flight and they need to get it together !! Updated on 22 Oct 2014: Was scheduled to have my surgery today ..... Didn't happen due to problems with lab work !! Hopefully tomorrow they have good news for me ! If not this trip was a waste and I will have to reschedule .... Aside from asthma I have always been very healthy and I kinda feel like the stress from this has caused many of the issues I'm having .... Either way I'm tired and tryna remain hopeful and optimistic! Updated on 1 Nov 2014: Finally uploading a couple pics these are 3/4 days post op with dr. Macadoo at Vanity in Miami FL .... Surgery was done Friday Oct 25 2014! I'll upload more once the swelling goes down I've been wearing the garment religiously! I had lipo on my full abdomen, back, and flanks Updated on 26 Nov 2014: Still get minor swelling and I still wanna loose 20 lbs but I like my new shape . I will say I wish they'd removed a little bit more fat from my bra line are .... And the work that was done was a little bit asymmetrical but the overall improvement was very good . Updated on 15 May 2015: It's time you guys ... I'm still a work in progress ???? but I would like to have a revision. My left boob is a whole cup size bigger than my right and have been since I woke up from my first procedure in 2011. (I literally upon wakin up asked the surgeon why there was a size diff. His response was it was more swollen than the other) anyway so I would like a revision and also a very small implant because I want more volume at the top than what can be attained from just a reduction/ lift. I'm also considering a small revision on my lips from this past Oct, that was done by Dr McAdoo at Vanity in Miami Fla. My results were decent but my stomach is slightly uneven and they didn't remove as much from my upper abdomen, back/bra roll / or waist. I would love if they can put it in my hips. As far as Docs in the DR of course Dr Yily and Dr Duran came to mind but I hear they're hard to get in contact with. I'm lookin at Dr Leon as well. This may seem like a lot but in reality aside from the breast. The Lipo work is minor ... This would make my third time under and I want it to be my last so I just want to get it right ! Although Dr.Levy is a nice enough person, I am so disappointed with the outcome of my neck lift. There is a lip of hanging skin and the bands still exist. At first he said it would heal in time. Then he said he “underestimated “ how tight to close the muscles. I then asked if he would be fixing his mistake. He said I’d have to still pay for hospital charges. I’m so embarrassed of how deformed I look. I’m now on this site trying to find someone to fix this that I can trust! I just want to warn other women so they don’t make the same mistake. I assumed that if he worked for Cleveland Clinic he must be good...wrong! He did say he was an engineer prior to becoming a doctor and had switched careers. I really think he should switch back.
I am 36 with a few fine lines. I have been doing research for years and finally worked up the nerve to get fillers. I had no success with Radiesse (done by a nurse) and it was recommended that I try Restylane (because Radiesse is not injected in the crease and I wanted something injected in the actual wrinkle itself, not around the wrinkle), so I went to a plastic surgeon this time. I had 0.5 of Restylane-L in my naso folds, corners of mouth, and chin indent. I was first injected on the inside of my mouth with a numbing agent - these injections were very painful and did not work - I was never numb around the mouth, the Restylane injections were very painful there (by the time the entire procedure was done, I was light-headed and felt out of it). Maybe I needed more time to numb because I did not feel the injections in the folds. But I'm not sure that I was ever injected there, although that was my primary reason for going, those lines bother me the most (besides the forhead wrinkles, but I know from experience that Dysport gets rid of those). In fact, when he was done I asked him if ever injected my folds and he said he did, but I know that he did NOT go all the way up to the nose - he left like 75% of the wrinkle untouched. I know this because I could still feel the needle going in, it just didn't hurt, and the needle was only injected at the bottom of the folds. Also, this plastic surgeon took pictures AFTER the procedure, but not before. And he never answered a question with a simple yes or no. It was like every response had to be deciphered to understand it, I finally had to resort to asking him whether he meant yes or a no. I also found it odd that he never gave me any after-care instructions, but maybe that's because he knew I was experienced with fillers (although he knew that was my first time with Restylane). After three days, the swelling went down BUT there was NO visible improvement. I had a worm like line, or ridge along one side, and it wasn't even in the wrinkle, it was next to the wrinkle. (This ridge was about 25% as long as the wrinkle, which is also why I believe that he never injected the entire fold.) Before I left the office, the doctor had told me that I could do my own manipulation if needed or go back into his office for that, so I massaged that for a few days and it went down to where it is no longer visible but can still be felt. I also a similar line one one side of the chin indent while the other side had bruising. I massaged the chin, but instead of the ridge going down, the line actually scabbed up - I am sure some of the filler came out. However, I now have a small ridge/worm on this side of the chin indent and in certainly light I can see it. It also seems that the chin indent was only injected on the sides, not the middle, which is what I didn't like about Radiesse. Why isn't the whole line and/or the middle of the line injected? I don't understand that. Anyway, I called the doctor's office after one week and said that my face looked exactly the same. When I went back to see him that same day, he told me that my fine lines would never improve, that he had tried but not to waste my money. He said I did not need any more filler injected and that he would not give me anymore, something about how my lines are too superficial. He said that I could wait until my lines got deeper and then inject them with filler to get them up to where they are now. Or I could try microdermabrasion or laser. I asked him if getting fillers going forward would prevent the wrinkles from getting worse and he said no. He also looked at my AFTER picture and said that it was hard to compare because I'm smiling slightly. (He must have forgotten that he never took a before shot.) I was practically speechless and very close to breaking down in tears and anger - I don't know what was upsetting me more, the fact that he didn't tell me all this BEFORE he took my money or the thought that I am 36 and may not be able to improve my fine lines. How could this be, I see 50 year old women (including the nurse that had previously injected me with Radiesse AND this surgeon's own receptionist) who have NO lines on their face whatsoever - how can I be stuck with no hope for improvement? He said that there are NO fillers on the market that would help me. I asked him celebrities get rid of their lines with fillers, and he actually made fun of me - then he took out the Restylane brochure and proceeded to try and show me how the model on the cover has lines around and above her mouth. Well, I could not see them - that model has NO lines anywhere on her face! Also, he injected my forehead with 100 of Dysport ($450), and he used more than I've ever had in the past, but I cannot feel it (my forehead doesn't feel heavy like it normally does) and the wrinkles did not improve as much as they normally do. I told him that I am used to seeing better improvement and that I didn't feel the heaviness in my forehead like I normally do. He asked me to raise my eyebrows and then said that he can tell the product was working and that I didn't need anymore! Then he basically ushered me out of his office before I could protest or demand a refund. I was in utter shock. In total, I wasted $700. I am not sure if the problem was the doctor's technique (i.e., that he injected the product improperly) or that he just didn't use enough - or whether the the issue is product quality (i.e., it's worthless/waste of money) - or, worse yet, that I'm just stuck with these fine lines.
Hello Ladies, I started developing at 10 years old and my Mom always told me I was going to be big chested ( she was definitely right!) I'm now 23 going on 24 this month and since high school I hated my boobs and always covered them as much as I could a lot of people today can't believe I'm a DDD. I've always had neck back & shoulder pain but within the last 3 years it's worsen. I have indents on my shoulders from my bra and my shoulders sometimes swell my frame is small so I look and feel un proportioned. My surgery is scheduled for May 6th of next month getting nervous but ill post some before pictures. Updated on 5 Apr 2014: Here are a couple before pics
Hello ladies. I have been on this site for some time now, reading all of your wonderful stories. So much, that I have decided to join the group. A little about myself, I am 40 yrs old, 5'7", 180 lbs. with a 38DD bust. I am like most of you, just wanting to have normal size breast. I deliver mail for a living and my breast are an interference to my job. Not to mention the stares, comments and looks that they attract. Not to forget the neck and back pain that they cause on a regular basis. So I have decided to do something about them. My surgery is still a ways away. But I get more and more excited as I read each of your stories. Thank you all for giving me the courage to join your community. And good luck to all who are having surgery in the very near future. For those who are healing from the surgery, may your pain be less and your heart be happy. Updated on 20 Aug 2013: I have discussed liposuction of the side/under arm areas with the doctor. But I am hearing that this hurts worst then the surgery itself. Would like to hear from anyone that had both of these done, so I know what to expect. Thank you for sharing with me. Updated on 25 Aug 2013: Here are the pictures I promised. Still need to lose some of the belly fat before my surgery. But I have 5 months for it to come off. I have noticed that the weight of my breast make me hunch over, never noticed before but now I can really see it. I am trying to make myself sit/stand up straight but then my back starts to hurt more. January to get here. Updated on 26 Aug 2013: I just got a call today from my PS and he wants me to have a breast MRI done before the reduction. Is this normal? I do have family history of breast cancer, but all of my mammograms have come back fine. Should I be concerned about this? Updated on 29 Aug 2013: YIPPEE!!! My Breast MRI results came back all good. Still not exactly sure why I needed one before the BR, but it is done! Only thing left to do is wait till January. In the meantime I will be working on losing 20 pounds. This way I will have the little waist to match the little boobs. Hurry up January!!! Updated on 3 Sep 2013: Hello ladies, figured I would give a quick update. This week I start physical therapy for my neck, shoulder, and back issues. It seems that the insurance wants PT done before surgery to rule out any issues beside my large breasts. Even though I have seen a chiropractor, they insist on PT. This is ok with me as long as my surgery is covered. Ad since I am still 5 months away from surgery there is plenty of time for the 4 weeks of PT that is being requested. Have any of you had PT for these areas? I have a very physical job, and well, the insurance company is figuring the neck, shoulder, and back pain is job related, not breast related. Ok whatever I have to do, I have to do! Good luck to everyone having surgery this week and hope that all who have had surgery are healing well! Updated on 11 Sep 2013: So I have a funny story to share with you ladies. I have been going to the gym for about a week now, trying to lose 20 pounds before surgery. Well Monday I had a lady come up to me at the gym and tell me I should join her in this class, she said "it will really burn off the pounds". So I was all for it. It was a crossfit class. Not a class that big breasted woman should take. There was lots of jumping and up and down movement. Well even though I was wearing 2 bras, I still ended up with multiple bruises under my breast from where they were bouncing so hard against my ribs. I can not wait to have this surgery. What a horrible experience!! Updated on 14 Sep 2013: Morning ladies. Yesterday I started my physical therapy ( required by insurance). My therapist was very nice and stated that BR would be the only solution to the neck and back issues. But since my insurance company requires 6 visits of PT, she would show me some excerises to do to help relieve some of the stress on those areas. I have to say last night my neck did not feel so tight and sore. But this morning, right back to where we started. I just finished with the excerises that she gave me, I feel a little better, but clearly this will not totally fix the problem. Have any of you ladies gone thru physical therapy? Or is this just a waste of my time? Updated on 6 Oct 2013: Hello ladies, I just wanted to give a quick update. I go back to see my PS on November 4. We are going to try and get the reduction approved for this year since I have already meet my deductible. With my job taking time off around the holidays is not a good thing, but if I can save $3000 then I am all for it! So please keep your fingers crossed for me and I will keep you all posted. Good luck to all of you ladies have surgery this week and I hope that those who have had surgery are healing fast. Updated on 13 Oct 2013: This morning I ran my first 5k. I am so proud of myself, but I must say even with wearing a sports bra and regular bra, I am still in a lot of pain. Back and breasts are extremely sore. I can't wait till the reduction so that running will be more enjoyable. November 4 is when I see the PS and will set a final surgery date. I can't wait! Updated on 30 Oct 2013: I went to see my primary care doctor yesterday for some blood work. Since May 23, 2013 I have lost 67 pounds. I was very excited to hear this. However this just proves the point that my breast are to large for my frame. They have not shrank one bit, and my back still hurts. I go to see the PS on Monday the 4th. We will set a surgery date and hammer out the final details then. I can not wait. Updated on 22 Dec 2013: My new surgery date is December 31st. The nerves are really starting to run rampand. Not sure yet when my pre op is but I am sure it will be next week sometime. Updated on 29 Dec 2013: Well I am going under on Tuesday. Have to be there at 6. Will spend the night. Pre op went fine and got all the information on stuff to do a head of time. Today is my last day to get things done as I am working a full day tomorrow. The nerves and my stress are up a little but that is to be expected. I am sure that as the time grows closer and closer I will become more and more nervous. I have had many surgeries before so that is not the issue. The issue is will I still be to big. I am hoping for a full C. For all of you about to have your surgery GOOD LUCK and Happy healing. For those of you that are currently healing I hope it continues to go well for you. I want to thank you all for your support, I will be thinking about all of you as I go under!
