I have always had good size boobs since puberty hit and as I got into my late 20's I wore a d/dd. I was in my late 20's when I decided I needed to reduce the size of my breasts (YES I SAID REDUCE).... I went from a 32/34 d dd to 32/34 C. Over the years as weight fluctuated up and down I realized I missed the fullness and wanted it back so here I am almost 15 years later doing it!!! Yay Updated on 29 Mar 2014: I had my surgery on 3/25/14 with Dr Drew Schnitt who does work out of Florida but also works with Dr Hedden in Birmingham, AL. We were kindred spirits and he was meant to be my PS. I was scheduled with Dr Hedden but due to the timing of that week he had to be off so they asked if I would use Dr Schnitt. After reading about him and all the Pediatric plastics he does how could I not?! This man was meant for me. Since I was an out of town patient I had my pre-op/consult on 3/24/14. He had just finished his last surgery and when he came in he was still all bubbly and spent over an hour with me answering my questions and discussing the size and type I wanted. I went in thinking around 400 to 450 silicone but after feeling the sizers I did not feel much of a difference and I had a lot of breast tissue already. My best friend looked at the sizers and was like you can't even tell you have 450 in...so I went up to 550.... Loved them and then when Dr Schnitt and I discussed it he said I could even do 600 (shock) but you know what he was a perfectionist so I went with it!!!! He told me not to obsess over the cc amount but what would look good on my body. After dreams of boulders on my chest that night and scared I wouldn't see my feet ever again.... I trusted him and did it. Boy am I glad I did. He worked the magic. Updated on 29 Mar 2014: I got to put the same exact size in both because my measurements were the same can you believe it?! So far I have had such an excellent recovery (hope that continues) and I owe it to many pieces if advice from each one if you. If I can help anyone let me know.
