Hello! I’ve been active on real self for quite some time now and it’s been super helpful during my BA journey. I decided post my review to also help others in their decision making process. My stats were 32AA, 168cm/5’6, 120lbs, Asian. My consultation went well, my doctor is very popular probably one of the best doctors for breast augmentation based on reviews. He was very kind and answered my questions but I spent most of my time with the consultant than the doctor himself. This wasn’t a major drawback although I would have preferred more 1 on 1 time with the surgeon, however, I could tell he was extremely busy. But I do want to mention that I didn’t feel rushed from the doctor, it was more so the waiting system. Right after he was done consultation with me he went straight to another. I probably spent 30 minutes with him and wish it had been longer as other questions pop up after discussions. The reason I mention it not being a huge drawback is that as soon as he saw me he noted that I have a pigeon chest (my chest bone protrudes). I already knew this but liked that he brought up the concern first. So this means that I would have some spacing when naked (a finger and a half) but with bras and clothing can create cleavage. This is OK to me as it’s due to my anatomy. But he did tell me he will do his best to get the implants as close. My surgery was the very next day and the general anesthesia was fine. I was super nervous since I had never had any surgery or Undergone general anesthesia. Once the iv was in I was out in 3 seconds. I had 340 cc in my right boob and 360 cc in my left and they were Demi motiva ergonomix. I wanted full motiva but my doctor had mentioned I would get that upper bulge that I specifically wanted to avoid. I woke up feeling supperrrr tight and uncomfortable with a lot of pain. That’s the only real pain I felt after surgery. I’m writing this and it’s already been one week post op and the discomfort got better day by day. It’s this heavy and tight feeling on your chest.... but it got better each day for me. Honestly from reading the reviews I was very nervous for recovery because many were saying it’s worse on day 3-6 but that wasn’t the case for me luckily! So it really varies. When I went for my one week follow up the one thing that bothered me is that my consultant notified me the night before that my doctor took a leave and would be off the next day so another doctor would see me. But I mean I think it’s fair to say that if I got surgery done my doctor x, I would want to see him for my one week follow up ... not a different doctor. So this was super annoying and had I been notified early on in the morning I could have arranged my schedule to see him the day after however it was too late. So while the surgeon is extremely skilled in BAs. The communication between employees is clearly unorganized. My recovery has been really smooth and my one week post op went great as I received de swelling treatment to help heal the tissues faster. I’m really loving my outcome so far... I wanted to look proportionate to the rest of my body and looking full and NATURAL was my biggest concern. I’ll be doing more follow ups and post pictures as time goes by but overall I am really happy with my results because they will onlt get better from here. Updated on 2 Jun 2021: I also forgot to mention ! I got armpit incision and dual plane plus method. I wish I could have received all the post operative care because I only got one treatment vs 6 that I am opted for (all included in the fees). The red light therapy and ultra sound treatment is super cool!!! Updated on 4 Jun 2021: I feel like my boobs looked very Even and symmetrical right out of surgery. When I took off the band today I notice my left boob looks lower than my right. Also consider that my left boob is 360cc compared to right boob (340cc) Is this normal??? I over analyze everything but just trying to remind myself that healing is a process. I really hope it is Cus the unevenness is bothering me Updated on 8 Jun 2021: Kind of blurry due to the filter however I’m already loving how they are looking. Recovery is going well. I feel great and I’m able to dress my self (ish). Since my incisions are through the armpit it’s harder to lift my arms. My surgeon told me to not massage my implants so I haven’t been but they are still firm just a tad bit squishy. I’m really glad I went with motiva implants which is why I travelled to Korea for them because Motiva is not offered in Canada. I saw some in the states but i feel like American doctors are used to western look which is not always “natural”. I haven’t been able to see my incisions but they do look really small and when it fades itll just look like an armpit wrinkle! I tend to scar dark so in that case I will definitely be getting laser. I’m still trying to fix my posture as it feels awkward but that’s about it! Haven’t had any irregular pain… just shooting nerves but that’s normal. Updated on 14 Jun 2021: I definitely fumbled and forgot to sleep with my surgical bra after having it off the entire day…. I freaked out and messaged the consultant which she said is fine as long as I don’t make a habit. I feel so stupid. has anyone ever made this mistake because it’s seriously eating me alive Updated on 7 Jul 2021: Has anyone experienced a popping sensation??? My friend hugged me from behind which caused my arms to squeeze my breasts together and it felt super uncomfortable. My skin is still super tight and my breasts do not naturally touch so I did not enjoy this and told my friend to get off of me! As he was squeezing I heard a pop and I’m just worried this damaged anything? I don’t really feel abnormal pain…. Please comment if you’ve experienced anything similar
