Dr. Altman genuinely cares about his patients and doesn't sell you on doing things you don't need or want. Before and after my surgery I was able to text him whenever I needed with questions and he promptly answered all of them. The results were amazing and the experience was the best I could hope for.
What a complete waste of $11,000! Immediately after the face lift, I did not look one bit different. When I went back to work, not one person said, "Oh you look so great" or "You look so refreshed." The only co worker I had told asked me if I had had the surgery. I was so embarrassed that I did not look differently, I told her I changed my mind. Nice man, but terrible at face lifts! Updated on 7 Dec 2014: Wonderful kind doctor with very attentive staff. Highly recommended! Very patient, listens to your needs and does his best to achieve a remarkable change!
Hi my name is Jamie and I work for Dr. Altman myself and another employee Lily had the Vi peel 5 days ago and our skin looks amazing! Can't wait to see the final results. We did it because we are interested in offering this treatment to his patients.
Finally I decided to do lipo on my upper and lower abdomen area, love handles and inner thighs. My surgery is scheduled on Thursday in 3 days. I'll have love handles and inner thighs area done first and in 3 weeks (my Dr said that is recommended liposuction recovery time between surgeries) I'll have abdomen area done. At first I wasn't nervous at all but as it gets closer I'm loosing my sleep. I'll keep you posted also will post pictures before the surgery and after. Updated on Apr 8, 2010: Well today I had first part of my surgery I went to the office 2 hours earlier just to get in a mood helped me a lot felt very comfortable and relaxed. Definitely helped to have nice staff making sure I was O.K.The surgery lasted approximately 2.5 hours lipo was done on my inner thighs and love handles so far no pain at all. Did not feel anything during the surgery, post surgery or now 6 hours later. I took mild painkiller Propoxyphene-n 100 just in case if I feel the same way tomorrow I'll take Tylenol. The only uncomfortable part of this process- I was extremely thirsty because I stopped drinking or eating at 9 pm the day before my surgery and I think that helped me a lot not to have any drowsiness, so as soon as I got home I had plenty of water. Also the drainage problem was taken care of by "Always super thin pads" they captured all the mess. I didn't take any before and after pictures but the office did so I'll post them as soon as I get my pictures.. Can not wait until May, I scheduled to have lipo on my abdomen area. So far all I can say the best 10,000 I spent!!!!!! Updated on Apr 12, 2010: 3 days later still no pain, back to work today. didn't take any pain medication on Saturday or Sunday so overall- great results!!!!! Will post more info in May after the 2nd stage- abdomen area.
I'm 5' 108lbs and a decent B cup. I want to be a large C not sure if 325cc is too big. Everyone always says go bigger.
I had a augmentation in the summer of 2013. I got 304(r), 339(l) silicone implants. I really should have gotten a lift but feel like the doctor didn't stress to me just important it was for my long term satisfaction. I know have saggy implants with the left having a double bubble. I am also very unhappy with the size, I have to wear padded bras or I look completely flat in shirts. I am getting a vertical lift with my augmentation on 4/13/16. I am super excited and am thinking 400cc mod profile plus. I go for my size consultation the week before. Updated on 24 Mar 2016: Updated on 6 Apr 2016: I had my pre op today where they drew my blood and I gave a urine sample. My doc is amazing and spent atleast half an hour with me going over sizes and the procedure. He recommended I go with high profile, mentor smooth silicone. He said he would bring in 350-450cc to surgery. When I tried on the sizers, I really loved 425 and since I am behind the muscle I'm hoping he can fit atleast the 425 in there. My husband wasn't able to come today but he is very conservative so I think 425 would be great. I am getting excited! One week left Updated on 7 Apr 2016: Here are a few pics clothed with the sizers i liked Updated on 14 Apr 2016: I had my surgery yesterday morning. I can't say enough good things about my doctor. He walked me through what was going to happen. He has his surgery center in his office which is nice. I've always hated needles so the doctor held my hand while I got the IV in. Then they rolled me into surgery and the next thing I know, I was waking up. The pain hasn't been too bad. This is my second ba surgery so there hasntvbeen as much pressure. I went with mentor high profile smooth 400cc. I am very pleased. Updated on 16 Apr 2016: I'm feeling pretty good overall. I haven't been sleeping very well since I am a side sleeper. I met with my dr yesterday. He pulled off a few steri strips and cut a few loose stitches. My husband came and the dr stressed how important I not do too much and not use my arms very much for the next week. I have a blister on my left breast, the dr said it will pop on its own and don't touch it. Updated on 18 Apr 2016: I am feeling great. I have have not taken any pain medicine for 2 days. I went to my dr today and he removed some stitches and steri strips. He also popped my blister at my request. I now have a bandaid and some ointment on it. I am very happy with my progress so far Updated on 27 Apr 2016: It's been 2 weeks since my surgery and I feel back to normal. No pain at all since day 4. My only complaint is I'm still sleeping on my back. I met with my dr today and he removed the tape and said everything looks great. He wants me to wait another week to start massages and scar treatment.
Almost without exception individuals have some element of uneven nostrils. Patient before and after pictures from underneath, known as the "worm's-eye view," will often reveal that some asymmetry existed before the surgery. Often times, nostril asymmetry will improve with surgery. The most common maneuver in surgery to narrow and shape the tip removes volume from the cephalic portion of the upper lateral crura. This procedure runs the risk of causing the nostril edge, or alar rim to retract. In general, unless problems are severe, secondary nasal surgery carries more risk than benefit because the surgery and healing tends to be less predictable than the original procedure. Based on this photo, your doctor is probably right not to recommend further surgery to address the position of the rim of your nostril.
