I enjoy Dr. Railan and her staff member. My Ultherapy treatment went very well and am looking forward to my 4 months results here soon. She was very detailed about the treatment and managing my what to expect post treatment.

I am 3 months post my coolsculpting treatment on my inner thighs. My thighs no longer rub against one another and I'm feeling much more confident in skinny jeans and leggings! I'm loving my results, it took a while and I was skeptical at first, but after about 6 weeks I started to notice a change. Definitely worth the wait!

Short form Review: • Comes from a dynasty of doctors • Specializes in lasers- medical residency focused on Laser • Fantastic product formulations for her skincare line that work, high grade and inexpensive for what you receive. • Detailed with her examinations and take-it home instructions. • Highly educated and friendly staff (Jennifer and Scott) you can tell they all love their job. • Detailed examinations which includes a detailed profile with pictures of before and after treatments. This profile allows for them to track results and show progression and the transitionary period of treatments. Allowing them to track your body’s response to the treatment. • Professional service- Jennifer is in the room with Dr. Railan for invasive procedures. This is something you learn when performing behind close door services. It’s beneficial when safeguarding your business. Did I mention she is detailed, educated, and knows what she’s doing? • She’s fantastic and I love how she carries herself as a professional. True professionals know their limits and will transfer you out to other doctors who specialize in specific areas. This illustrates Dr. Railan’s professionalism. • I pay out of pocket and it’s worth it (Not because they don’t accept insurances, they do) She’s reasonable when paying out of pocket for visits, so don’t be afraid to see her if you don’t have insurance. • Detailed review: Dr. Railan is the true definition of professionalism, highly skilled, adaptive to her environment and interpersonal interactions. She’s treated me for a chemical burn from bleach on my scalp which was later diagnosed as alopecia. I later learned from the specialist she sent me to (who I also love) that I was lucky Dr. Railan provided me the steroid when she did to prevent more hair loss and permanent damage. (Kaiser, my primary provider, has no one staffed who specializes in scalp burns and hair loss, and the steroid they provided was specific to them and it made my scalp itchy and burn). I have no problem seeing Dr. Railan out-of-pocket. She knows what she’s doing and will refer you out if she feels you need specialized attention. She’s very detailed with her examinations and provides great feedback. I’ve seen Dr. Railan for the following services and products since I met her. -Laser Hair removal Axilla (armpits) and Bikini Extended. Still in process (Dr. Railan has received specialized training for laser during her internship years) I would recommend anyone to see her if considering any laser procedures. - Skincare line, Dr. Railan's MD Soothing cleanser, retinal eye cream, the primer sunscreen, and the SPF 50(traditional formulation), and her hydraulic acid is high quality. I love all her skincare line. I receive a lot of free high-end medical quality skincare from vendors due to my profession in the spa industry and I love her line. Some of the formulations are dupes for more expensive products, for example, her primer sunscreen smells amazing and has the same formulation of ingredients for a product that I’ve purchased that was twice the price and smelled worse. This also shows me she’s not greedy when it comes to her line, its high quality and affordable for what you receive. I’m excited for when she begins selling glycolic acid, lactic acids formulations from her own line. She has products in office you can purchase that are top quality for what you’re receiving for the price. She’s prescribed me retin A for Acne and preventive age measures. Her staff and herself are extremely detailed when providing take it home instructions. Scott provided a physical demonstration on how to apply skincare products before applying retin-A. Dr. Railan also prescribed a tropical steroid for my scalp, shampoo, and a two or three formulations of foams and oils I could use (same product, just different formulations so I could also wear them in the day-time to maintain constant treatment). Overall I’m so lucky I was referred to Dr. Railan. She’s a true gem in the medical industry for exceptional service and patient care.

Dr.Railan is the Best!!!! Very professional,extremely thorough yet gentle and always made sure I was comfortable before,during and after my CoolSculpt and Kybella procedures. Her staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly!

First let me say....I absolutely love Dr. Railan! I drive all the way from San Jose to see her in Menlo Park. She is a knowledgeable, skilled, and caring doctor. I have had multiple types of treatments in my years as her patient and all my experiences have been unparalleled. Her office is comfortable, beautiful and clean. Her staff, Scott and Jennifer are excellent. I decided to have the Kybella treatment; although, I did not have very much extra fat in my neck area. The representative that was there that day said I could also experience some tightening of the skin from the treatment, which would be helpful to me, so I went ahead with it. Numbing cream was applied so that when the injections were administered I felt no pain or discomfort. Treatment was fast and easy. I did experience a very minor dull pain sensation right after the injections, but this was so momentary and fleeting that it is hardly worth mentioning. After treatment that day I felt fine and did not even need to use ice packs. I went out that evening and no one noticed anything even though I could see that there was some swelling. I experienced no down time with this procedure. I should add that I did not have a lot of injections because there was not much fat to remove. In the days following I felt some soreness in the area in addition to numbness. After a couple of days the soreness was gone as sensation has been returning. Swelling has been slowly going down as well. I am less than a week post treatment. Dr. Railan is the best. I completely trust her!

Dr. Railan is first rate. Super professional and a perfectionist. She recomends the best products and treatments, but she's never "sales-y". I am always happy with my results. Her staff are excellent. A+

Dr. Railan and her staff were awesome!!! The told me everything in advance of what to expect and there were no surprises. I am someone that likes to know what to expect. I run, bike and lift weights. I couldn't get the love handles to a place where I wanted. This was a great procedure and helped. I had read how painful it was. I didn't have that experience. It was numb for about a week, but I didn't have pain. I would strongly recommend for someone that wants to lose in that area.

Had a great experience with Dr. Railan during my Ultherapy, Sculptra Aesthetic and PDT Treatment. She was very thorough and aware of any possible discomfort. I did not find either treatment to be uncomfortable. I already see a great difference just after two weeks and feel confident that the Ultherapy will continue to improve the overall look of my face and skin.

I'm a healthy woman in my early fifties and have dealt with acne my whole life. I also grew up in FL so I have very sun-damaged skin. I've been seeing Dr. Railan since moving to the Bay Area and I love her and her staff. She is patient, professional and doesn't push things on me. She's up on all the latest laser treatments and sells terrific products. Her staff is extremely client-service oriented. They always try to fit me in if they can and get me in and out as quickly as possible without making me feel rushed. I've gone to dermatologists all over the country as I've moved around and highly recommend Dr. Railan.

I chose Restylane not so much for vanity but because I was tired of people telling me I look tired! I am 38 and the nasolabial folds along my nose were really aging me.

I just had the injection of 3 tubes and the dermatologist really wanted to use more. (I agree but at $575 each...) Right now, I am very happy with the results. Will see how the Botox turns out in a couple of weeks.
