Before finding Dr Diane Hartman, I had spent years seeing docs regarding vaginal/urinary issues, trying various meds and otc products, many times being prescribed antibiotics and/or antifungals, but found no lasting relief of itching, burning, painful symptoms, and frequent UTIs. After an examination, Dr Hartman talked with me at length about vaginal dryness/atrophy, which was a major contributing factor in my overall vaginal, genital discomfort. and other symptoms. She thoroughly explained the diVa treatment process, and I decided to proceed with a series of three treatments, one month apart. (Total cost for all three treatments was $3000.) I went to my first treatment armed with a sedative to boost my courage. Dr Hartman had assured me that the procedure would be only mildly uncomfortable, but a laser in my vagina?! The procedure was quick, mildly uncomfortable, and I went grocery shopping immediately after. The last two treatments, sedative free, one month apart, were equally quick and easy. It has been 2 months since the last of my treatments and I am so thankful to have done it! The internal burning and discomfort I've felt for years is completely gone and my other symptoms are greatly improved. I wish this treatment had been available to me 20 years ago!
