I always had great teeth and never needed braces. However, as I've aged, my teeth have shifted and crowded. I am 2.5 months into a 9 month plan. I feel things changing, and believe it or not, I LOVE the feel of the Invisalign on my teeth. To be honest, I've been totally anal about my teeth care now. I figure, 1) $5,000; 2) my smile is part of who I am; 3) I want to keep my teeth. Here is my daily routine, and my teeth and gums are LOVING it: Morning - Brush teeth and brush Invisalign trays (since they're on 22 hours a day, they need to be clean and germ free) Day - Brush and floss and rinse the tray each time. Dinner - Soak the trays in Polident. Brush, floss, gargle with Listerine, brush the Polident on the trays. A great side affect is that I've lost 15 pounds since I'm not munching all day long.
Good Morning, Always check with the treating dr first. Depending on how big the chip is they may just smooth it. give your dentist office a call. Dr. Barnes
You have a very difficult situation here. There isn't an easy fix or a cheap fix for that. I would recommend you start with your family doctor or someone in your area that specialized in difficult cosmetic cases.
Invisalign fee structure is based on the type of case that is needed. There are several levels of fees.
You would probably be a good candidate for Invisalign. You can go to their website and find a doctor in your area and request a consultation. Most office to complimentary consultations. Once of the nice things about Invisalign is that you may not have to have the tooth removed. They can discuss that with you.Dexter Barnes, DDSSeattle
It is bigger, have you sent this picture to your dentist? If not make an appointment with him to review the size and shape. You may want to bring the lab tech into this appointment so he can see it first hand. Stay with you dentist and let him and the lab make this right.Good luckDexter Barnes, DDS
