You may have persistent redness for 6 weeks after Pulsed Dye Laser treatment, especially on the lower legs which are generally slower to heal than other body sites. &nbsp;PDL works by injuring the blood vessels and can cause temporary bruising and redness. However, PDL used aggressively is a powerful tool. &nbsp; Be sure you are seeing a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon with extensive laser training and contact them with any issues you are having over unexpected post-laser effects.&nbsp;

Calve muscle on both legs , from having surgery for compartment syndrome , I have had 1 session of pulse dye laser and the scars look more red and noticeable them before and this is 3 weeks after having the pulse dye laser , how long is the healing time after having laser ? Should the scars be more red 3 weeks after having laser?

If you stop getting Botox, the repetitive creasing from muscle activity will allow wrinkles to form. But they won't be worse! If you already have wrinkles at rest, yes, you need to keep getting Botox so that the creased in line has time to fade. Considering getting Botox and a little filler for under eye creasing when smiling. I don't have resting wrinkles yet, but am told getting Botox before wrinkles will help to keep from getting them. Once I do get the Botox and filler, will it look worse once it wears off and I don't keep at it? I'm told not to get it done until I'm ready for the on going commitment as it's not something to do just once in awhile. Is this true and will getting Botox in one area create wrinkles in another area?

The facial musculature is very complex in the perioral region, with many small muscles that pull up, down, and outward. Be sure your injector has been trained specifically in facial anatomy and physiology. &nbsp;You need to see a medical doctor who is board certified in a facial subspecialty (plastic surgeon or dermatologist). It can take up to 2 weeks for Botox to achieve its final result, so some of your asymmetry may improve or resolve by then, but it sounds like you may have had some problem with toxin placement. This may be able to be improved or corrected by a skilled injector.

I'm from Sydney, Australia. I went to a dentist offering a special on dermal fillers. She suggested before dermal fillers I would need to have botox for my mouth frown to reduce the downward sagging appearance of my face. She said fillers would not relieve my mouth frown alone. During your Liposonix treatment, fat cells are permanently damaged and those fat cells will be cleared by your body over the next 2-3 months, usually resulting in about an inch of waistline reduction. &nbsp;The fat cell damage is achieved during the treatment, and further fat loss from diet and exercise will be in addition to the Liposonix results.

I just got liposonix on my lower abs... My question : as far as it was explained to me, this procedure killed fat cells that will now be metabolized by the body over 2-3 months. I had 1 syringe of Restalyne injected under eye (by my double certified surgeon) 4 days ago, and determined it was not enough so had another (almost full) syringe yesterday. Depressed scars will get much more benefit from Fraxel treatment, since the Fraxel laser penetrates so much more deeply than a BHA peel. BHA peels will help to treat ongoing acne, pigmentary problems like brown spots, and mild (not deep) textural issues. So, if your focus is the scar, do the Fraxel first. &nbsp;if you also have problems with acne or pigment, you can do the BHA peel before or in between Fraxel.&nbsp;

After treatment, you should be diligent about using a daily sunscreen, but there is no need to increase moisturizer---unless your skin seems dry and flaky. Sometimes you can have a reaction to topical anesthesia that causes mild skin irritation. If you have severe redness or flaking, you should call your physician.&nbsp;

I have heard that it affects the glands and promotes smoker like wrinkles. I would also like to ask after each treatment and the following days do you need to double up on your moisturizer?
