!I decided to become a patient of Dr. Marden after many years of being frustrated with my ob/gyn group, I finally decided to switch to a doctor who specializes in women's health and not just delivering babies. After seeing Dr. Marden the first time I was so impressed. His staff is so friendly and attentive and he has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. I had been to a previous doctor to try ThermiVa and saw where Dr. Marden was offering Femilift. I decided to give it a try and it was so much easier and effective than what I had previously experienced. I had 3 treatments and each only lasted 5-10 minutes versus a whole 40 minutes with ThermiVa. Hardly any discomfort and a little discharge after and wow... now I feel so much more confident and comfortable. Not only did Femilift improve my bladder issues but it also improved my sex life. I am forever grateful to Dr. Marden.
I have been a patient of Dr. Marden for almost 20 years!! He has always been very proactive with his continuing education and very innovative with latest procedures for women. I was so excited when he started performing the Femilift at his office, I am almost 40 years old and with the BRCA1gene and having a hysterectomy 4 years ago I can not take hormones. The Femilift procedure gave me back the moisture that I once had and the ability to enjoy love making to the fullest again. I also had issues with a leaky bladder from child birth and I am so happy that I can run, sneeze and play with my daughter with no accidents. I would highly recommend the Femilift to anyone and rest assured that Dr. Marden will be the best Doctor to listen to all your needs as a woman.
We just recently had 4 patients that have had both procedures. One patient had completed the recommend full series of 3 ThermiVA treatments and the other patients had undergone only one ThermiVA treatment. All patients tolerated both procedures very well with ThermiVA treatments taking 30-40 minutes and Femlift taking 5-10 minutes. Two patients did not notice any differences with one ThermiVA treatment, but did with Femlift. I chose Femlift for our office over ThermiVA after using and researching both. My opinion is that they both can help, but Femlift uses a CO2 laser vs. ThermiVA that is a radio-frequency treatment. Both procedures cause immediate edema (swelling) that can cause a short term improvement in symptoms. Long term success however, is going to depend on stimulation of collagen production and my belief is that the laser energy source has a better chance to achieve this. Hope this helps and good luck!
My patients have reported improved orgasms after Femlift! We have each patient fill out a questionnaire before and after each treatment. Most have noted improved or enhanced orgasms. That being said, we did not specifically ask if the orgasms were clitoral or vaginal. There are multiple factors than affect female orgasms including medications, hormone therapy and partner dynamics. Because you have some mild leaking of urine, Femlift would be a reasonable consideration. If you had just had a clitoral orgasm issue, then I would consider other options and evaluation. I hope that helps and good luck!
