Dr Jack is really good at what he does and he put me at ease. I had a few treatments and I was really glad to have come to him. He made me feel safe. Hi akhialex. A chemical peel will generally not penetrate deep enough to destroy hair follicles. If it were to do this you would undoubtedly be burning into the supporting layer of the skin (the dermis) too deeply and would end up with scarring. Hairs on the face are best removed using laser for darker hairs and lighter hairs there are options such as epilation or dermaplaning (use of a surgical blade to exfoliate the upper layers of the skin - with the side effect of removing the downy hair of your face).
