Do I have tubular breasts? And if so how can they be corrected? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
it appears from you picture that you have asymmetrical tuberous breast.  You can treat this in several ways.
1.  You could have bilateral mastopexies,  taking out some tissue on the right side to achieve size symmetry as well as shape symmetry
2.  You could have bilateral augment mastopexies putting in a slightly larger implant on the left side

Upper pole fullness without lift?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
it's hard to give you a valid answer to your question without looking at pictures or having an examination.  It is fair to say that the only way you can get more superior fullness is with a breast lift.  If you try to do this with implants she will be in enormous. he would be most cost effective to do this after your childbearing years however is only a question that you might answer.

How long before I can move my arms after BL & BA?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
every surgeon has their own idea of activity level after breast augmentation I often tell my patients that there is no forceful vigorous or repetitive body activity for 3 weeks postoperative.  This recommendation is probably about the middle-of-the-road

What size implants should I get?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
it is indeed impossible to determine what size implant would fit to the best without a physical examination determining the width and height of her chest as well as her breast envelope and amount breast tissue. visit with a plastic surgeon should include an estimation of prosthesis size

is too hard to tell exactly where this breast might eventually settle down to.  He is the first picture that you posted a postop picture of both sides.  They are significantly different.  I don't understand the first picture

My breasts still seem very high. Is this normal? I'm 10 days post op (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
all breasted 10 days sit higher on the chest then normal.  It appears that your breasts were significantly ptotic, droopy from the get go.  It will take months for them to settle in and it wouldn't surprise me if you needed a secondary mastopexy in order for them to be as shapely as you might desire

Are my pecs too tight for sub muscular augmentation? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
it is hard to determine your exact problem without having seeing your preoperative pictures.  It appears that you might have implants that are too big or maybe you should have had mastopexy after her last procedure.  I would not recommend subcutaneous implants.  They might look good for a while but they will eventually become encapsulated.

I am a 57 year old male. Can I get 600cc breast implants?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
I think it is highly unlikely that you will be able to be augmented with a 600 cc implant in the first or around as a 57-year-old male.   He would be best served by having in person consultation with a competent plastic surgeon.  It might be such that you have to get to that amount in stages

I had chosen Dr. Goodkind to perform my plastic surgery, I must say, I am blessed to have such a wonderful Doctor that was there for all my questions, concerns, fears and anything else I needed, I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon! On February 5, 2016 I had a face and neck lift, Nose repairs and upper/lower eyelid surgery performed by Dr. Goodkind at Milford Hospital. My surgery went just as planned, my doctor was there first thing to go over everything with me and reassured me all would be great. He was the last person I seen before they put me to sleep and the first person I seen when I was awakend. Dr. Goodkind followed my recovery very closely and didn't miss a detail, he was there when I needed him throughout my recovery process and answered all my questions without delay. His bedside manner was impeccable. My results were beyond my expectations, I thought maybe I'll look a little more rested, instead I found myself looking fantastic, alive, rested and looking happy and healthy again. 27 Year Old Female

Dr. Goodkind was extremely understanding of what my goals were and helped me to accomplish exactly what I was looking for with smart lipo. The procedure itselg was a bit uncomforable but he and his nurse were extremely attentive, accomodating and reassuring during the procedure. Dr. Goodkind is warm and professional. He has performed several procedures on me including a rhinoplasty and eye lift and the results of all the procedures have been incredible. I would never even consider going to another surgeon.

Happy Patient - Branford, CT

I had a breast augment three years ago from Dr. Goodkind and I have been very happy ever since. Dr. Goodkind was very easy to talk to about the surgery, he answered all of my questions and totally put me at ease. I was referred to him by my friend that also had a breast augment and she was VERY pleased. I am glad that I took her advise! Now, I can wear bathing suits or halter tops without worrying about what kind of bra I should wear. I love how I look in my tops now! My results are beautiful and all of my expectations were beyond exceeded! ...My only regret is not having done it sooner!

Aptly Named Surgeon is Both Good and Kind - New Haven, CT

I had some sun spots that my dermatologist thought looked questionable. A long time ago, I had a freckle-like spot removed for skin cancer screening by a different dermatologist in CO: the scar was huge and ugly. This time around, my derm recommended I see a plastic surgeon to take off the spots and referred me to Dr. David Goodkind in Branford. I am so glad he did. Dr. Goodkind removed about 6 spots - some in very sensitive areas on my chest. The difference in the scaring is unbelievable: the ones Dr. Goodkind removed have almost no scar at all.

Just Did It This Morning, Extremely Painful Procedure! - Branford, CT

I had the back of my thighs done this morning. 8 squares on each leg. I paid $2,700. I thought the procedure itself was VERY painful!! My doctor had to keep stopping to give me more lidocaine. He said he's never seen anyone be as uncomfortable as I was. He thought I might be do to low body fat?? Or he was just trying to make me feel better and I'm really just a wimp. I'm about 4 hours postoperative, no medication, just antibiotic. He did give me painkillers. I chose not to take them since I had to pick my kids up from school. I feel fine now. I mean, I'm not going to go running, but I'm not uncomfortable. So far so good, just swalln and weepy insciscions. 2 punch holes on each leg. I'll post pics in 2 weeks at my first followup. I am 36, 137 lbs and hav 3 kids. I'm a triathlete and very athletic. Ive had Cellulite since about 20 years old. Running, bikin and swimming lost e Rey single day and cellulite won't budge!!! Stay tuned...... Updated on 21 Mar 2013: I am now 3 days post op. I feel sore, like after a marathon but no need for pain meds. Toughest part is maybe getting in and out of the car. I'm going to try and go for a light jog this afternoon. Draining has 100% stopped and I have a lot of bruising. Still have swelling as well. Updated on 21 Mar 2013: I decided not to run, but I biked on my road bike for an hour with interval training. And yes, I wore my compression garment. It was great. No pain or discomfort. Just sweet more with the extra clothes. I'm going to attempt to add two post op photos. I'll have to get my preop at my ne. Visit. I chose not to take them since they were so horrible!! Updated on 23 Mar 2013: I am a little sore and have some tingling going on. I ran a 5k race this morning ( 4 days post cellulaze) . Nothing major to report, still bruised, still swollen. No discomfort. Updated on 25 Mar 2013: Tomorrow is one week postop. I am still VERY SWOLLEN. I have worked out everyday so that might attribute to still having a lot of swelling. I am opting to bike, not run since the pounding still kinda hurts. (Besides running the race) iI have way more bruising on one side. happens to be the side i found more painful During the procedure too. I'm looking forward to feeling like myself again. I've worn the garment 24/7 too, even working out. I'll post picks tomorrow. Updated on 27 Apr 2013: I don't have new pictures, my doc wants to wait for the "full" result. To me, that's because it still looks awful! Same but worse with the skin color looking darker. Not bruised but shadowed. I am still hopful..... I'm trying not too look? On the brighter side for all you athletes, I ran for the first time today without spanks. Was a tiny punchy on the sides of my thighs for the first few hundred yards but ran 8 miles no problem. I'm free from the garment!!!!! I am training for an ironman in August. I hope with all this training and cellulaze, I'll actually walk around the beach without a coverup soon! Updated on 10 Jun 2013: Well, I am not sure if I see improvement. It's do hard to turn and look at your own butt with the right light while taking a picture. I'm still reserving my final thumbs up or thumbs down for the 6 month anniversary. But I will post pictures and let you all c if there is a difference. We seem to be harder on ourselves! Updated on 10 Jun 2013: Updated on 16 Aug 2013: What do you think? Does it look better??

Eyelid Surgery Made a Huge Difference - New Haven, CT

I had my lower and upper lids done about 10 years ago...I was 53. It was the first thing I ever had done and made a huge improvement in my appearance. Pretty intense pain for one day, then just uncomfortable. Took one week off from work and looked a little bruised when I went back, but everyone knew what I had done, so it really didn't matter. Rather than spend a fortune on creams, etc. that really don't correct the problem, I think it's better to have it surgically corrected. Glad I did it...No cons.... Updated on 11 Feb 2011:

The Cost of Non-disclosure of an Underlying Problem - Branford, CT

I went for a consult with Dr. Goodkind on 12/20/10 for a revision rhinoplasty consult. Procedure performed on 01/04/11. All seemingly went well. Results were good. After time I noticed changes to my nose, starting turning to one side and looking deformed. I returned to see him on 6/11/2013 and he minimized my concerns by suggesting we try to "take a little off" and it would be covered by my insurance. I found out last year from an ENT that I had a severe C deviated septum - completely obstructing my left side, that Dr. Goodkind was fully aware of in 2010 as per his office notes dated 12/20/2010 - but did NOT disclose to me, causing me chronic infections, bone loss and a now deformed nose. Furthermore, Dr. Goodkind could not provide me with my office notes from 6/11/2013 - blaming their office system getting hacked and also claiming that I had not been back to see him since 2011 - strange, because I was able to produce the EOB from my insurance carrier - Anthem. I made one last attempt to obtain my records in June, even sending photos - but no response. As a result, I am now having a THIRD revision the end of this month. Had it been disclosed to me that I had a "huge deviation of her septum obliterating air flow on the left side of her nose," (his notes verbatim), I would have had that corrected immediately and most likely would NOT be needing another revision. His non-disclosure has caused me a great deal of health issues and now financial issues. I will be sharing my story with the State of CT Dept of Public Health Practitioner Investigations Unit, Yelp and Real Self.

Post Surgery Complications

Frustrated with ongoing problems related to surgery on June 2016. Eyebrows uneven, left eyelid won't close completely causing issues. Follow up visit very brief and without resolution to ongoing post sugical concerns. I would not recommend for surgery of any kind due to lack of response, post surgical infections and not addressing results that are not perfect.
