I was on the edge about getting implants being that I'm 47 years old. I went and talked with Dr. Klein and his team and they answered all of my questions and assured me, that as long as I for sure wanted this procedure, that they would be able to give me the implants that I desired. Sure enough, they did just that. My implants are beautiful. They look natural, which was my main desire. I love them. Its been 9 months now and you can barely see the scars. I will post pictures as soon as I can go back and find them. I will also include a current one so you can see the scarring (or lack of) for yourself.
I have contemplated fixing my breasts for over 20 years and finally made the decision to reach out to Renaissance Plastic Surgery in Concord, Nc in March of 2021. I have looked at their website and many others over the years trying to decide and ultimately I chose his practice because he is well known in my area for doing amazing work. I had my first consult at the end of March with plans to have surgery in May. I decided to get a mammogram in between that time, and ended up with an abnormal scan. Long story short….I wasn’t able to have my surgery because I ended up having two breast biopsies and a surgery to remove a mass in my left breast. No cancer was found, so that was a relief. Dr. Klein decided that I would have to wait until September to have my procedures just to make sure I was completely healed from the removal of the mass. I am attaching a few before and afters and will update as I go Updated on 19 Sep 2021: The night before and 2.5 weeks later (today). Still uncomfortable with bra on skin all day at work still tight and armpits are still tight/swollen I think due to the bra roll lipo. Also, I have the internal bra and I think that makes my sides very sensitive and uncomfortable. I can’t believe the difference! Just look…..He understood the assignment
I’m 100% happy that I decided to see Dr.Klein for my breast augmentation. While searching for surgeons I noticed I was not able to find a single negative review from Dr.Klein’s clients and all the reviews were consistent in saying they had an easy recovery, and loved their results! After I had my initial consultation, I knew I wanted him to be my doctor. Surgery day I wasn’t nervous at all, I felt 100% comfortable and went into the surgery room feeling excited and went to sleep and woke up easily without feeling “drugged up” which was wonderful. I still remember all the details of prepping for the surgery and waking up and my entire drive home. I only don’t remember the actual surgery. The nurse and anesthesiologist were also incredible. I tend to be a very anxious and nervous person so this was all a very big deal to me. The pain didn’t hit me until I got home and was ready to eat and nap. My first 48 hours was difficult mostly because I couldn’t sleep or get comfortable. But by day 3 I was napping like a baby at any time with no pain meds. I’ve literally felt 0 pain from my incision site, it’s extremely clean and neat with internal sutures. I’m shocked at how quickly I feel I’m recovering and can’t wait for a couple months to pass to see my final results because I already love them so much. I have my first post-op appointment in 2 days and am excited to continue the process :) Updated on 20 May 2021: Over the last month, I have healed, no longer sore or in pain and my implants have settled down a lot which has made me feel comfortable in starting to wear new clothes and some lights bras / bralettes. My incisions are no longer scabbed and are a red-pink color and smoothing out, I’m sure they’re going to heal beautifully. I’m still very happy in my decision to see Dr. Klein and following his recommendations for what type / size of implant to get, they fit my body perfectly, look more natural and feel softer and squishier every day.
Very friendly and helpful staff, great care during my many office visits. I really appreciated the fact that Dr. Klein called the evening of my procedure to make sure I was doing well, assuring me that he was only a phone call away even after hours. Highly recommend Renaissance Plastic Surgery.
I never thought I’d have anything done. After breast feeding and age I just wanted to be full again to fill out my bra. I also hated the spillover under arms around your bra area. Dr Cline makes you feel so comfortable. His staff is amazing all so sweet. I love even just visiting with them. If I ever did anything else it will be him. And I recommend him to all my clients and friends.
Dr. Klein and his staff are so caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Klein goes the extra mile and takes all the time you need to answer your questions to make sure you know all your options and are comfortable.
Dr Klein was an amazing Doctor talking over treatment plans with me, making me feel comfortable. He has done a couple of surgeries for me. Everything I expected & better. What a true pleasure. Thank you for everything.
Dr. Klein and his staff provided me outstanding service. I’ve had multiple procedures done by him over the years and I could not be more pleased with the experience and the results, they were so kind and professional!
Dr. Klein is amazing!!! Every time I told someone I was getting my surgery done and they asked who, when I told them Dr. Klein they said they knew I would be in good hands and they were right! This is an amazing office, the staff makes you so comfortable. Dr. Klein even called to check on me when I got home! At 20 years old, with 34G breasts my confidence was so low. I was always hiding behind them, ashamed. I feel like a brand new person and he made the experience so worth it. I was extremely frightened at first because it was my first surgery but he made me and my family beyond comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone x100000. The only regret I have is not going to him sooner!
I absolutely LOVE Dr. David Klein and his staff at Renaissance Plastic Surgery in Concord, NC. I had a breast reduction over the Summer and my whole experience could not have gone any better. Dr. Klein really cares about his patients and the staff and himself do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and safe through it all. Being 20 years old I was very nervous about this surgery but also very excited at the same time. He made me feel so reassured and comforting the day of my surgery that I was ready to go in that operating room with no worries. When I came home from my surgery, Dr. Klein personally called to check on me to see how I was doing. It really made me feel special and well-cared for. All the ladies at the office are always so welcoming, friendly, and very professional. If I had to do it all over again, I would do everything the exact same. If you or someone you know are considering getting any plastic surgery, please look into Renaissance Plastic Surgery because I promise you will not regret letting Dr. Klein take care of you!
Your scars do not look unusual for 7 months post op except for the area on the vertical scar that appears to be excoriated. This may be just do to the picture but all areas would be expected to be healed at 7 months. An evaluation in-person with your doctor would be the best way to determine if he/she thinks you would have a better outcome with a revision.
Your pictures do show a definite difference in the size of the breasts. This can be totally normal as you described that the surgery was different for each breast. It is very early in your recovery and it can take more than a month for asymmetries to even out. The best course of action would be to visit your surgeon to see if he/she thinks this size differential is expected or not.
Your pictures do show deflated breasts with ptosis (sagging). Adding an implant to a breast lift will increase size by whatever size the implant is. A lift without an implant usually has less of an upper pole fullness or roundness above the bra line. A compromise may be a very small implant if you want this upper pole fullness. A lift by itself will can make them "perky" but usually the upper pole remains flatter than with an implant.
Your pictures do not appear to show classic hives but there is some redness. I would seek a visit with your surgeon asap for a thorough examination of the hives on your body and the redness of the incisions.
Four years after BA you would expect to see some changes in the breasts. Gravity never gives up! Also, as our skin ages, it loses some of its elasticity. My opinion is that wearing a bra to bed probably doesn't make a difference at this point if your breasts are average in size. If they are extremely large, I would recommend a bra at all times, including for sleep.
