SculpSure definitely can help reduce some of the unwanted fat. However, I would highly recommend a consultation with a provider skilled in the services.  That is the only way to get a direct assessment of your body and your individual needs. 

SculpSure is great way to non-surgically get rid of areas of fat. But, it is not a "weight loss" device. The ideal candidate is someone who is at or near their ideal weight, but still has regions of excess fat that will not go away with diet and exercise.  

For the initial weight loss, there are several dietary strategies. It would be best if you worked with a local clinician who could give you more specific advice on the best plan for you. 

You should always be working on a healthful diet and maintaining regular exercise. However, SculpSure can definitely help reduce some of the fat. The ideal candidate is someone who has a BMI less than 30.  There are several technologies available to help reduce fat, from surgical approaches such as liposuction, to the nonsurgical treatments including CoolSculpting, Vanquish and SculpSure.  In my experience SculpSure is the best option for nonsurgical treatment.

During the sustain (or maintenance) portion of your treatment, the laser goes through a series of 30 second cycles. A gradual warming period, then a cooling period. It is typical to only feel some intensity toward the end of each warming period. 

Your question serves as a great illustration as to how everybody is different. Even for the same patient, the sensation of the treatment varies from region to region.  As has been noted, as long as your don't have any loss of sensation in the treatment area, such as from a prior surgery or scar, I expect you will have great results. 

Sorry to hear you are still having tenderness.  In my experience it is not terribly uncommon to still have some level of discomfort or soreness in the area extending 1 - 2 weeks. It should be improving over time. If it does not, especially if you notice worsening of the tenderness, please contact the provider who did the treatment for evaluation. Continue to massage the area, stay well-hydrated, and try to get your regular exercise. 

Although some of my patients start to notice initial results within the 1st week, this is not common, as for most people, it takes the body several weeks (up to 12) to fully break down the fat cells that were destroyed during treatment.
