I completed Chin lipo and Facetite with Dr. Danielle Atencio. The entire procedure was comfortable and well explained. I'm two days out and really happy with results and experience. I will update with future photos as I heal. Updated on 27 May 2022: Here are photos from 7 days out. I’m still fairly swollen and sore. Will keep everyone update as I heal more.
The absolute worst possible experience. I originally spoke to Dr_________ (I am not adding her name, she is an amazing doctor) in the office 2019. Everything was explained and I was excited for my surgery. I was having liposuction of the stomach and hips, fat transfer to make my lips larger, breast lift and a fat transfer breast enlargement. It was all set. And then Dr_______ left due to a family emergency. I was told Dr Atencio was taking over Dr________ patients. I met with Dr Atencio before my surgery and we rescheduled it because I was a smoker and she wanted me to quit for 30 days before the surgery. Which I do appreciate that because 6 months later I am still not smoking. We proceeded with the surgery. Right away my issues started. We contacted the office and left 2 messages for Dr Atencio, neither were returned. We went in the next day and I asked why she didn't get back to us and that was when the attitude started. She said she gave us her personal phone number for issues WHICH SHE DID NOT and that we could have contacted her directly if it was important. As I was sitting in the chair with my breasts out she opened the door walked out and left the door open with my chest exposed. We left. The next appointment I mentioned that my breasts, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE SWOLLEN STILL, seemed smaller. She made so many excuses on why they were smaller. I asked why my lips were not fuller and when my swelling would go down on my stomach and hips. She said my lips should be fuller and it would be 6 months before my stomach and hips would slim down. SKIP AHEAD 6 MONTHS. I went from a D cup to a C cup. My lips are the SAME SIZE as before and the lipo is still not gone down AND I found out she only did lipo on the front of my hips. So in short Dr Atencio charged me for a smaller cup size, no change in my lips and half of a liposuction job. Then she has the nerve to tell me I look better now and she is a good surgeon. I can't even stand being naked in front of a mirror or my husband anymore. I now have to find a surgeon that can fix her mistakes. So if you want a good job done I would reccomend going ANYWHERE but to Dr Atencio. She will just take your money and ruin your body. I have never felt uglier. I look in the mirror and cry. After spending all this money I cry at my naked body. This is so NOT cool Dr Atencio. SHAME ON YOU. I do not understand how she can ruin someone appearance and have the audacity to say she is a good surgeon. I wish I never set foot in Dr Waldens office. As good as Dr Walden is in Austin I am absolutely astonished she has someone like Dr Atencio there rubbing her good name thru the mud.
