I cannot thank Mr. Colin Riordan and his team at the Northbrook Clinic in Dublin enough for the life changing procedure I received.

For years, I struggled with tubular breast deformity, a condition that I was born with, a condition that negatively affected the development, shape, and size of my breasts. This condition has left me feeling extremely self-conscious, highly embarrassed, and robbed me of my confidence and sense of femininity. From a young age, it negatively impacted my self-esteem in all aspects of my life. In my 40's I felt like my tubular breast deformity had worsened especially after having two pregnancies and weight loss. After years of silence and hesitation, I decided to seek help.

With time and research, I found Mr. Colin Riordan, a leading expert in his field with extensive experience in breast reconstruction for tubular breast deformity. From our very first consultation, I knew I had chosen the best surgeon in Ireland. Colin listened to my lived experience and my personal stories with compassion and empathy and led me through an all encompassing assessment process, answering all my questions thoroughly and giving me time to process all the information and consider my options.

Mr Riordan followed up with a second consultation appointment and again all my questions and concerns were listened to and answered thoroughly. I would like to say that the consultation process, the surgery and surgery aftercare was seamless. Anita, head of Mr Riordan's administrative team at the Northbrook Clinic was incredibly professional and supportive from start to finish, no question or query was too big or too small at any time.

Despite my initial nerves, I felt completely safe and confident in Mr Riordan's care. I chose to proceed with a breast augmentation, breast lift, areola resizing, and a full abdominoplasty.

The results have been incredible, life changing. My breasts are now perfectly shaped, symmetrical, and exactly the size I always dreamed of. My abdomen is perfectly sculpted and flat and I have a new belly button that looks amazing! For the first time in my life, I can stand in front of the mirror and say that I look and feel like a beautiful, confident woman.

The care didn’t end with the surgery. Colin and his team provided exceptional post-operative support, including reviews at 4 days, 1 week, and 2 weeks post-op. Every step of the journey was handled with clinical excellence, professionalism and kindness. No question or query was ever a problem.

I had rhinoplasty done with Dr. Colin Riordan. I'm so delighted with the result. My nose is just perfect on my face and I'm only 1 month post operation. My breathing is perfect. I was able to breathe through my nose on the day of my surgery which I didn't expect as I heard from many people that had rhinoplasty they were not able to breathe through the nose for some days, but I was absolutely perfect. I didn't get much swelling which is amazing. On the day 5 I had my cast off and the next day my nose was so pretty. I got a nose I always dreamed for. I call it now a photoshop nose :) as it looks so perfect just like i was editing my pictures before rhinoplasty. I had great experience. Anita was so helpful and friendly. I'm very happy I went to a good hands. I have so much confidence that positively effecting my life daily. After years of being insecure about my nose I made an appointment with Dr.Riordan in Nov 2023. We discussed the issues I had and what I wasn’t happy with. After a second consultation and everything explained I decided to go ahead and book the rhinoplasty. I had a hump on the bridge of my nose that was straightened, the bulbous tip was made smaller and raised for a much more symmetrical result. I had a pain free recovery and minimal bruising. I was back to myself (a better looking version) within a week.

Dr.Riordan has an exceptional talent in altering what you’re not happy with while maintaining a natural, flattering result.

I recommend him highly. For me, the surgery was life changing. It’s given me a confidence that I didn’t realise I was missing. I can’t thank him enough. Anita in reception was fantastic also and facilitated in answering any queries over the few weeks.

I had a rhinoplasty in May of 2021, I found Dr Riordan and his whole team really professional and easy to work with. His staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend doing your research and coming with a list of question, make sure you research your aftercare and ask the Dr which applies to you. My healing process was very quick with minimal bruising and no pain what’s so ever!

I had such a positive experience with Mr Riordan and his team. I had tuberous breasts and had wanted them corrected for as long as I can remember. Mr Riordan was so great, he talked me through my options and gave me the realities of the results, in terms of shape and scarring (I had to have an uplift too). I never felt pressured and ended up having three consultations before the surgery.

I am now two weeks post op! To start, Dr Riordan is absolutely exceptional at what he does. I adore my new nose, particularly my much improved side profile!! I must also mention the amazing Anita who made scheduling and rescheduling appointments so straightforward and who went out of her way to facilitate me in every single way. My final result reflected my request- subtle but natural improvement to my tip and hump of my nose. Having spoken with Dr. Riordan at the first consultation, I had immediate confidence in him because he was realistic with his approach and listened to what I was not happy with. I was able to See an impression of how the scaffolding result would look and Questions were answered on that day. He scheduled me in for a second consultation. This was to take the time to make the decision which in hindsight was invaluable for what I was signing up for. I had a picture of the potential final look on my phone and having listened to a ridiculous amount of podcasts-both negative and positive stories, and online articles, I decided to go ahead. I had the best care post op, and Dr. Riordan showed me a picture post op - pre cast which was very comforting. Post op, the nurses were amazing! Pain was minimal, but I did struggle with the congestion for the first four days. 9 days post op, I got my cast off and it is so amazing how perfect it is. I will eventually get over myself. It is a decision to really think about, and it just adds to me. I am forever greatful for the professionalism of Dr. Riordan and his team. Thank you!

Dr Colin Riorden based in the aesthetic institute (Dublin) is extremely professional and answered all my questions. He was realistic and went into great detail about my rhinoplasty. I have had cosmetic surgery before with another clinic and they were quite pushy. I felt that Dr Riorden was the opposite of that and any question I had he answered with detail. What I liked about him was that he was not pushy and lissened to what I wanted while guiding me in the right direction. He was confident yet cautious and realistic which put my mind at ease. The after care was fantastic and my results are far beyond what I expected. I love my new features and it looks extremely natural and the best version of me. Since I was a teen I always hated my breasts. They got worse after breastfeeding over 10 years ago.
I am 29, 5ft8, 62 kg. Having researched the procedure for years, in January I had my first consultation. I knew straight away what I wanted. I was a 34 B and wished for a 34D. A "natural look"- even though it will never be " natural".
I was prepared to deal with anything that came my way, only so I can feel more confident and sexier. I wanted it done before turning 30. I was tired of wearing heavily padded bras and bikinis, and I hated looking at myself in the mirror after a shower.
On the 6th of March I had my procedure at 11am. By 5 pm I was home, but in lots of pain.
I went for 330 cc motiva hp implants- and only now, after two weeks, I can say that they are starting to settle.
My recovery journey was difficult indeed. For a week, I was in lots of pain, and had swelling and bruising.
Been eating difene and solphedine like you'd eat m&m's, but hey, I kept saying to myself- it will all be worth it!
I had to sleep elevated and wore day and night that awful surgical bra, been constipated and SO bloated for days/ and couldn't shower by myself, or get dressed.
Even after two weeks I cannot wash my hair alone, and im still relying on hairdressers.
My partner has been helping 100% day and night with everything, and only now I am starting to be a little more mobile and to do things.i still can't drive which is a pain but hopefully by next week I'll manage.
I've been obsessed with this site, and it has provided me with lots of helpful info. Even chatting to ladies in a similar position has eased my "endless" recovery days.
I've now stopped the painkillers, ditched the surgical bra and got a new sports bra( hurrray) and I'm impatiently waiting for another few weeks to pass so I can see my final results!
To all of you who consider BA, I want to tell you to go ahead and make your dreams come true! The pain, sleepless nights etc are only temporary, and in my opinion it will all be worth it!

Still getting morning sorness and wondering whether this is normal ? Also I still can't wear normal clothes- everything I wear needs to have buttons/ zips... wondering when I'll be able to fully lift my arms without being in pain ...

Hi ladies!
Thought I'll share a little update!
I'm 5 weeks post op now, breasts have started to drop a bit(right one definitely)!!
They are still hard overall and achy in the mornings. I have now resumed 90% of my usual activities, and really looking forward to getting back on track 100%.
Still sleeping slightly elevated and on my back, I hope that next week I'll be cleared to sleep on my side.

Dr Riordan is a brilliant surgeon, I cannot recommend him enough. He was very professional, attentive, and responsive. Throughout the 2 pre op consultations, I never felt pushed, and he helped me pick the best implants for my body size/shape.

So after having two beautiful children and still having age on my side at 28 the over hang of stomach fat was difficult for me in many ways, loosing my confidence, frustrated with dieting and exercising and still not seeing a result. I considered having lipo and possibly tummy tuck. I met with Dr Riordan in several occasions to discuss surgery. He went through all pros and cons and made sure I was 100% happy with making my decision. I had previously had breast implants 7 years previously which deflated and lost shape. It wasn’t a straight forward procedure as I had two different cup sizes originally and needed a lift ‘‘tis time round aswell as waning a slight reduction. Again we looked at several options until we were both comfortable with our decision. The procedure went extremely well it has now been over 3 months since my surgery and to say I am over the moon with my results is an understatement. Scars are healing very well and. Lookin forward to starting back with my exercise regime. I would gladly recommend Colin Riordan he is professionally and wants what’s best for his client. If I am to have anymore procedures in the future he is the only man I will go to. Plastic surgery is a big decision to have and unfortunately there are a lot of bad surgeons out there please carry out your research properly and take time with making a decision.
