I had multiple Lipoma cysts in my head, I was very scared to do the procedure at first, but Dr. Lumley removed them painlessly and his staff were very caring and professional throughout the procedure.I am very pleased with the result.
Just had some revision surgery with Dr. Lumley and the experience was wonderful. RTH was part of my original breast cancer surgery and I recently went back for some revisions. Dr. Lumley and his staff were so kind and caring and never once made me question what I was doing. He is a very skilled surgeon and the results even a week out are fantastic. He is so patient and let me ask the thousand questions I had and was always so attentive. He is exactly what you want a surgeon to be like when doing something so serious. His staff is very warm and caring as well. I am grateful to have been a patient.
He was very dismissive about my concerns (blew off my question about BII stating it's not real and/or caused by antidepressants), seemed very impatient, and made transphobic comment. I will definitely not be choosing him for my breast augmentation surgery.
I was so indecisive about getting the Halo laser treatment because of some reviews stating they had bad experiences but this is the only laser treatment I found that doesn't require much discomfort and downtime. I am so HAPPY with the results. I have enlarged pores on my cheeks, some left over small acne scars, and pigmentation. I mostly got this laser treatment for the enlarged pores on my cheeks that looked like small little bumps. Whenever I would put on makeup, those pores would definitely show more and it bothered me so much! I also am 27 so I wanted to do it for the anti-aging benefits. How my procedure went: First I want to say, make sure you go to someone legitimately experienced with Halo laser treatments and who does them all time. It is so important you trust your esthetician. My esthetician gave me numbing cream to take home so I can put on 45 minutes-1 hour before my procedure. That's what I did and boy did the numbing cream help. She than gave me 1 pill of pain medicine they had at the clinic. I took this right before my procedure. I than washed the numbing cream off and she than started up the laser machine and off she goes. I DID NOT FEEL 1 thing because of the numbing cream. After she is done, your face I will tell you BURNS!! it feels like you were under the sun for 5 hours and the burn just wont go away. I was in the room still for another 2 hours with a cooling machine over my face. She was so sweet and told me I can sit there for as long as I want till I don't feel much of the burn. It is important your esthetician does this for you and gives you this option because if he/she doesn't, you will literally feel so much pain on the drive home. After I can tolerate it, I went straight home and fanned myself for another hour or so till it really subsides. THE DOWNTIME: I will say you will need at least 4 days of downtime at home. I did my treatment on Friday morning (taking Friday off from work) and I went back to work on Monday with my face peeling and flaking so much under my makeup. I will say, if I do this treatment again which I will again in Spring, I will make my treatment day on Thursday morning. Unless you don't feel embarrassed walking around like a mummy, than do it on Friday. Now on the 2nd and 3rd day after, you will feel a slight headache. It is important to elevate your head so the blood wont rush to your head. It is also important to walk around the house a little. And also, go outside and get some fresh cool air for 5 minutes or so. This will calm you. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PICK AT YOUR SKIN. the healing process will begin after your treatment, you will probably see bubbles around your nose, peeling skin, redness, DO NOT TOUCH YOUR SKIN, and always put the creams on your skin as gentle as possible, no rubbing. if you peel or pick at your skin, this will cause scarring and more hyperpigmentation you do not want. Your skin is in the heeling process, meaning you don't pick it. You don't pick at stitches after getting your knee scraped do you? No! so don't pick at your skin. Moisturizers/ointments I used: So, your esthetician who did your treatment will provide you with SPF 50 creams, and also petroleum AKA Vaseline. She will give you directions on when to use this and how. I also bought myself my own creams, water spray, and facial cleanser all from the brand Avene which you can get at a walgreens/target. Avene Cold Cream I would use as my moisturizer if I did not need something heavier like the Vaseline given to me. Avene Thermal Spring Water I would use if I needed a cool down (which was most of the time lol) Avene Gentle Milk Cleanser I would use for my face cleanser. You should only use a MILK cleanser during this time as they wont be drying to the skin. Overall: after about 1 week my skin looks phenomenal, the pain wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and I now get compliments on my skin, AND I NEVER HAD gotten compliments on my skin randomly from strangers. I LOVE THIS TREATMENT! Overtime, your skin will get better after this treatment while its renewing. THANK YOU HALO! :) xo JennaUpdated on 22 Sep 2017: Sorry, I am just now getting to updating my review. But since I got asked a few questions, I would like to show you pictures. I also am excited to let you all know I will be getting my second Halo treatment in November :) In all these photos I am wearing makeup so it is a little difficult to tell the FULL results, but you can definitely see a difference in my before and after. My before pic is when I was traveling outside of the country and when I travel my skin goes crazy bad because of the environment change so you can def. see how my skin reacted. I hated this about my skin and that's one of the other reasons why I got Halo.Updated on 22 Sep 2017: Updated on 22 Sep 2017: Sorry these are all separate. it didn't allow me to post all photos in one review for some reason.
A gluteal workout program can really enhance the results of your BBL. Remember the more fat you have to give, the larger volume you have for the buttock. So avoid any excessive weight loss until after your procedure. One the fat transfer is complete, enlarging the muscle volume beneath the gluteal tissue will only make your results better, plus the cardiovascular benefits. You can't lose! Dr Lumley
Kybella usually takes a series of treatments to maximize you results. Make sure you follow up with your doctor at 3-4 weeks post injection. Swelling and mild asymmetry is normal and often expected during the treatment period as the fat is resorbed. Gentle massage post treatment may help your body clear the inflammation. Good luck!
I recommend contacting your surgeon. It is a simple question we get all the time. In my practice, as long as your taking it easy, a couple hours out of a bra usually is harmless, but check with your doctor to be sure! Enjoy your trip!
Thank you for your question regarding the painful area over your nasal bone. You likely suffered a contusion to the soft tissue overlying the nasal bones, which can cause swelling and pain. If you have already been evaluated for a possible fracture, your bump should resolve in time with ice and elevation. Be sure to follow up with your doctor if the area persists over the next couple of weeks.
