Ptosis Surgery and Blepharoplasty

I am Asian, My ptosis surgery was third time (was done by different surgeons in the past), and I was told that it is not easy surgery by doctors in Japan. I was super nervous at the beginning especially the swelling and bruising was horrible. However, as my surgeon said, the healing process is much better by the time goes. Although it is not final look, I am happy with the progress, and I am happy that I chose Dr DeBacker as my surgeon

38 Year Old Looking 50. San Antonio, TX

Well... I had the bags under my eyes since teenage years, they seemed to get worse as I got older. One person after another always told me that I look tired, or older than my age... I've saved up for my surgery and finally had it done today. Wasn't as bad as I thought... I had a great doctor, and tended to my every need... Now recovery is another story... I'll keep you posted as I'm only 10 hours post op. Updated on 25 Feb 2016: Not much of a change from yesterday.... Pain overnight was a little more than yesterday but very tolerable... Still using cold compresses and eating pineapple... Updated on 29 Feb 2016: Loving the results... Not to fond of the bruising... But the bruising is temporary.... Updated on 3 Mar 2016: Ok... Got the clearance for make up and cover up... Thank god... Still with mild swelling... Started using arnica gel and it's the best thing in the world... The swelling I had the day of my post op appt was gone within 3 hours after the first application... Wish I would have known about it before hand... I would have used it sooner! Updated on 3 Mar 2016: Still with mild swelling... Arnica gel helps so much...
