I had my first Botox treatment with Dr. Rivera, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was so welcoming and professional. Dr. Rivera took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel completely at ease. The Botox treatment itself was quick and virtually painless. I’m thrilled with how natural the results look—my forehead lines and crow's feet are gone, but I still look like me—just a refreshed version! The results started to show after just a few days, and I’ve received so many compliments. I highly recommend Dr. Rivera to anyone considering Botox or any cosmetic treatments or surgical procedures. His expertise, attention to detail, and amazing bedside manner made all the difference. I’ll definitely be back!
I had body contouring after weight loss and the results were fantastic. My face-lift results were EPIC and NATURAL. I went from tired looking to youthful. I highly recommend. Great doctor and great results.
Dr Rivera is an amazing doctor who is very informative, love his honesty and how he makes me feel comfortable. I have told all my family members and friends about him they are looking forward to meeting him and the next couple of weeks.
I had a great experience. I visited 4 surgeons between Miami and Ft Lauderdale; some very senior and well known, but as soon I meet Dr Rivera I knew he was the best. Dr Rivera listened, was patient and gave me several options for treatment. He is exceptionally talented and trained, ans has great manners. I was impressed with his resume, superior to pretty much any plastic surgeon I've meet. The procedure went very well. I obtained the results I wanted. His staff is top notch. Absolute recommendations. He is a Rockstar!
I give Dr Rivera the best recommendation. I always was afraid of doing my face lift. I did some research until I see Dr Rivera before and after cases. I was astonished by those results, and I decided to do my face lift with him. I cannot be more pleased with the results. The natural look after the surgery is incredible. I would recommend Dr Rivera without any doubt.
If you’re thinking about breast reduction surgery, I most highly recommend Dr. Rivera! He absolutely transformed my breasts, removing almost 5.5 lbs and giving them a much needed lift in the process! During the initial consultation, Dr. Rivera took the time to get to know me, talk to me about my surgical options and his recommended course of action as well as answer any questions that I had. Throughout the whole process, Dr. Rivera has remained invested in helping to have the best outcome possible. Pre-operatively, he spoke to me about best practices, including taking evidence based supplements to speed up recovery. I also went in for tests pre-op to clear me for the surgery and got to know some of his support staff better. Post-op, Dr. Rivera has been in open communication with me, has scheduled multiple follow ups with me and even made time at the last minute to see me extra times to address any concerns I’ve had during the healing process. Dr. Rivera and the whole staff are extremely personable as well, remembering details about my life and about the surgery. They are always warm and it feels like they work well together as a team. When I woke up from the surgery, his staff and colleagues were there to reassure me the surgery went well, make sure I was comfortable and even show my photos from the procedure. Prior to meeting Dr Rivera, I consulted with 2 other plastic surgeons. The first one recommended an inferior pedicle for the surgery, which would not have created the lift I was hoping for and ended up receiving with Dr. Rivera. The second one told me my BMI was too high and wouldn’t consider surgery without weight loss. I’m so grateful that I found Dr. Rivera and that he is such a fantastic plastic surgeon. I couldn’t be happier with the results and already (at 5 weeks post op) feel freer and more confident moving about my life.
Was referred to Dr. Rivera-Serrano by my ENT to repair a deviated septum and correct issues with airflow. I had been addicted to nasal spray due to chronic rhinitis, which had further complicated structural issues within the nasal passages. The reconstruction of my airways went well and had immediate relief, even before the packing was removed. I have gone through the tree allergy season without a drop of over the counter nasal spray and can breathe normally. The exterior results turned out great and have a nose that is no longer crooked.
My procedure was septorhinoplasty with turbinate reduction --- Dr. Rivera-Serrano and staff did a fantastic job! From start to finish he was kind and very attentive. My initial consult through my post-op visits I was given the very best of care. I could not be happier with my results. I can breathe better following this procedure, and have never felt this good in my entire life. I am simply stunned by this whole experience. This man is a perfectionist and is very genuine. Dr. Rivera has clearly set a standard in the office that exudes excellence!!!! I can assure you my results are so natural! The symmetry, size, and proportions to my face are perfect! He listened to my input and to all of my concerns. He has exceeded all of my expectations! If I could give him more stars I would!!!
You must do your research first to find a PS that you feel comfortable with. Carlos Rivera Serrano did an awesome job and I couldn’t be more pleased. Great office staff, nurses & anesthesiologist. From start to finish, I was in good hands. Everyone in the office make you feel comfortable and at ease. I must admit, It’s a process that you have to be mentally prepared for. You will have a pre op appointment that covers a medical evaluation as well as a visual of your body in the areas you wish to have your procedure done. Labs & an EKG will be done before surgery. The day of surgery, routine work will be completed (urine test, pre meds given, b/p and temp taken, and if you are a diabetic a finger stick will be completed (as my self). The anesthesiologist will come in, give you a thorough review on what to expect and insert a needle in prep for the surgery room. Once in the surgery room, your surgeon will clean your body with a solution from top to body to all of your crevices. Afterwards, I was helped on to the table - not touching anything unsterilized. The anesthesiologist does his thing and hours later you awake. Thereafter, you are helped into your garment. The nurses make sure you are stable to leave and assist you into the vehicle awaiting you. Once home, although rest is required, YOU MUST WALK AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. My pain was minimum. Throughout the entire process, I was mainly stiff and sore. Yes, it hurts pulling yourself up from the bed but that only last for the first week. My doctor called several times personally during the first critical days to make sure I was doing good. The best items I used were Arnica gel, arnica tablets and Bromelain (better than pineapple juice) for inflammation. Please purchase a female urinal. You will need chucks on your bed the first 48 hours to catch any leaking fluids. At each appointment my doctor takes pictures to show progress. It’s great having a doctor that’s hands on and compassionate. Everyone’s healing is different. Listen to your body. I was walking within a few hours of returning home from surgery. Driving a few days later with my bbl pillow and back to work in no time. I took my antibiotics as prescribed. I only using the pain meds the first 3 days as precaution. Feel free to ask questions or inbox if you want them answered privately. I am 7 weeks and 2 days post op. Updated on 6 Jun 2019: Updated pictures for week 10 and 11. No pain, minimal swelling and completely back to my normal routine. I’m still wearing my faja everyday for 12 to 16 hours (and all day on the weekends). I have lower back burning in the arch of the back but that comes with healing. I have a nice slope, hips and lats and a nice cuff (considering I had a flat bottom with no shape and no hips). Updated on 23 Jun 2019: These are my most recent pictures. Both pictures I am 3 months and 1 week PO. I was typically a size 7 before my surgery in March. I am now a size 9 ( I fill the pants out but my waist area requires a belt to fit nicely).
