I had an amazing experience and wonderful results with my tummy tuck. The staff was excellent and very kind and caring. I would recommend this place for any cosmetic need. It was affordable and quick to get in.
To begin, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Porshinsky and his exceptional staff. On October 18, 2024, I underwent breast augmentation surgery, and I must admit that I was both nervous and thrilled. The staff treated me with utmost care and kindness throughout the entire process. Initially, I was undecided about the implant size and changed my mind several times. However, the staff patiently guided me through the process, ensuring that I made an informed decision. Ultimately, I chose moderate 415 cc implants, and I am delighted with the outcome. Today, I had my follow-up appointment with Dr. Porshinsky at Aria Cosmetics in St. Louis, Missouri. I was pleasantly surprised by the minimal wait time and was seen promptly. Dr. Porshinsky took the time to thoroughly explain everything, meticulously examined my incisions, and answered all of my questions with great care and attention.
Oh My Gosh.....I can't believe I am actually doing this. I already cancelled once but with reassurance from the doctor rescheduled. My breasts are large and heavy due to fibrocystic disease and after having a lot of back pain and headaches and neck pain it finally occurred to me that it might be my big ol breasts. I have watched my mother suffer all her life especially with neck pain and I am built like her. I never put it together....Duh! You could use the giant grooves in my shoulders for pencil holders....lol! Soooo I went to the doctor who applied to my insurance company and low and behold they came through on it. If I had any advice about what I've been through so far it would be to write down your questions before you go to the Doc. Don't be like me who reenacted the scene from "A Christmas Story" where the kid is going to see Santa specifically to ask for a Red Rider bb gun, freezes up and dully agrees to a football. This was basically what lead me to cancel the first time....I panicked and felt too stupid and embarassed to call and ask for yet another appt. because I simply didn't ask the questions I needed answers to. I mean seriously...the doctor looked right at me and asked if I could think of any other questions I might have....I looked him right in the eyes and said..."nope'. I then went home didn't sleep all night and cancelled my surgery the next morning. Luckily the doc called me about something else and we started talking, I felt better and back on the schedule I went. I am still nervous.....anyone else feeling like that? BTW...the cost posted for this reduction is made up because I don't know yet and it won't let you post without it. Updated on 7 Sep 2014: Well..I didn't post pictures with my initial post but yours have been do helpful to me. So here are some before pictures so you have something to compare to after. Counting down to Friday....holy mackerel! Updated on 12 Sep 2014: Had surgery this morning went really well and so far the pain is minimal. I was super nervous but I had a great team taking care of me. The pain is a little more intense as time passes and I'm wondering if that will continue? I'm a little worried that I didn't go small enough but I guess we'll see. Just wanted ti give a little update to you awesome gals! Take care Updated on 15 Sep 2014: Hi ladies....after a terrible anxiety attack last night that May have been partly due to a reaction to the hydrocodone they have me on, I am feeling some what better emotionally today. I am sorry I haven't posted pics but I just haven't been up to it. The doc said he did quite a bit of Lipo suction on me and I am thinking it might make things a little more painful healing wise. Day four and still bleeding a little. seem to be at the burning, aching phase of the process. Are you girls cleaning your incisions every day? I am hoping my nipples will flatten out and turn up a little when all is said and done. I'll try to post pictures soon. Thank you for taking time to send me encouragement last night it really helped. xxoo Updated on 15 Sep 2014: I snapped a couple of pictures when I changed my compression bra tonight. Boy I sure hope they are going to get smaller than this and not look so square on the ends. Updated on 17 Sep 2014: Day six....I'm not even sure what to say. I'm sure it will get better than this. Pain and now itching is beginning to rear it's head. Much more bruising has appeared and still very swollen. Well see doc today. Hope everyone is healing well and good militia to those of you that are going in soon. Updated on 17 Sep 2014: Saw the surgeon for first post op. He said everything is looking good. He shifted me that I would go down in size about 20 to 30 percent more to about a d cup...whew! He also said he could revise my nipple position if I want them higher with local anesthetic and next to no cost. They are..as you can see..very bruised and swollen but slow progress is being made. Thanks ladies! Updated on 21 Sep 2014: Trying not to feel discouraged today. My pl told me a lot of things Katy time I saw him. It's hard for me to believe that my breasts could improve as much as they need to from where they are now. There is still so much still sitting on my rib cage. One is bigger than the other but I know that is common until all the swelling is gone. So all I can do is wait.....so many of you just look fabulous right out of the gate. Fingers crossed. Updated on 26 Sep 2014: Well....I'm feeling a little better about my progress today. I still have a lot of healing to do and the surgeon says I probably have some revision work in my future. They are better than they were though so even now it was still worth it to me. Hope this finds everyone healing well or excitedly waiting for upcoming surgeries....xxoo Updated on 8 Oct 2014: It's been awhile since I updated where I'm at in this journey..and it is a journey. Saw the ps today and ina nutshelli will be having revision work done in December.....sigh. I am not thrilled with this news but I am happy with the way the ps is working to get me to a good result. Basically my skin is not going to be able to make up for all of the tissue they removed with lipo suction and my nipple placement should be higher. So the beast tissue that is hanging down my ribs is just going to get worse add the swelling subsides more. So there you have it. How this finds everyone well....xxoo Updated on 12 Dec 2014: Haven't checked in awhile but have been lurking about. In my last update I talked about having needing a revision and on Dec. 9th that's exactly what happened. Just shy of the 3 month post op recovery point a new surgeon went in and redid the whole thing....and let me just add ...ouch!! The intent was just to do some fairly minor adjustments but when Dr. Curtis got into it he said he realized that it was just not going to be enough. Now i am pretty laid up now just shy of Christmas. Thank god i got a lot of stuff done ahead of time. Anyway here is a pic one day post op. Hope you are all doing well and enjoying all the cute clothes and bras you can now wear. Merry Christmas!
