I recently had a breast lift and augmentation, as well as a chin implant with Dr. Brian Hass. My surgery took place on May 22, 2020. I will keep my review fresh and updated as the healing process continues. So far, I have nothing but the best to say about Dr. Hass and the staff at the office, especially Jill & Wendy. I felt comfortable from the very start. Every detail pre and post op were provided which made me feel secure - I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Hass has over 25 years experience and it shows. I literally have zero bruising! It’s crazy!! My case was unique and not in a good way....Dr. Hass went above and beyond my expectations of my breast lift/augmentation. He also called on his personal cell to check up on me. If I needed anything, I was able to contact him directly on his cell. This highly skilled brilliant doctor is a magician and a true artist. I’m so grateful my surgery was performed by him because the results, so far, are beyond what I expected! (This is coming from someone who is a legit OCD/perfectionist who finds fault in almost everything when it comes to art.) This surgery has been life changing for me. I strongly believe what Dr. Hass achieved would not have been possible by any other surgeon.
I went to Dr. Hass for a lower face lift and could not be happier with the results! My biggest fear was that I would not look natural or have an obvious "done" look. My results were perfect and immediate. Within a week I was back at work. Mostly, I don't cringe at my own reflection any more. I look exactly the way I hoped...very natural but great!
At 56 decided I needed some work. I scheduled a consultation for a face lift. While I was in the office I I heard myself ask if he could do the boobs at the same time. Boobs I figured no big deal, they could always come out. Face will admit, quite apprehensive and did quite a bit of research. Told the doc I wanted a natural look. Could not be happier with results.
Being in the health care profession for 30 plus years I thoroughly researched my options for the foremost physician and facility to perform my elective plastic surgery. From the initial consultation, surgical procedure and post surgical follow-ups Dr. Hass, his medial and office staff were the epitome of professionalism and care. I am thrilled with my results and cannot praise Dr. Hass enough for his kindness along with skill and talent. I would thoroughly recommend Hass Plastic Surgery to any prospective patients.
As a teenager I was a California sun worshipper and years later my face showed the toll of this summertime activity. After consulting with 4 ABPS certified doctors I chose Dr Brian Hass. My areas of concern were my droopy neck and jowls. A full facelift was recommended. I chose to visit Dr Brian Hass twice to get all my questions answered. Dr Hass provided thorough and thoughtful explanations about the procedure and expected outcome. His office staff is warm and caring. His pre/post surgery protocol is strict however following it to the letter will provide you with the best outcome. When doing your research consider a consultation with Dr Brian Hass. I couldn't be happier.
Got inner/outer thighs and love handles treated and was very happy! Very little weight change but big difference in appearance for that last little bit of problem areas. I highly recommend this procedure and practice. I am including my own before and after pictures so you can see for yourself why I am so happy
Dr. Brian Hass was my final visit after visiting numerous surgeons in NYC and Palm Beach. He is calm and soothing but there's no BS with him either. His staff are now friends and I have to say, they call you, text you, you have post ops - their entire world is checking up on you. Not once did I feel neglected. The clinic is relaxed and unobtrusive - you do not feel intimidated in the slightest. Lastly, his work is truly impeccable. I am 4 weeks post op and I am so very happy with the results.
Dr. Haas did a fantastic job. This was my first Botox treatment and I don't like needles so I was very nervous. The staff were very compassionate and held my hand. I didn't even feel the needles. Dr. Haas really knows what he is doing! This took years off my face and I will be back once it's time to do another treatment.
So ever since I was in middle school the bump on my nose has ALWAYS bothered me. I've been very sensitive about the angle of pictures I've taken. I moved to Florida in 2010 and started modeling and always felt that my nose took away from my talent. Now I'm getting married in November & want my pictures perfect!Updated on 22 Mar 2013:Ok I am two weeks away from my procedure I'm super excited!! I have one problem right now I have a HORRIBLE cold!! I know I can't take any vitamins or Advil, just Tylenol sparingly. Does anyone know if you can take pseudoephedrine or anything like that? I really hope this cold doesn't stick around long, I'm nervous if it sticks around they will have to postpone my surgery :( Oooooo btw happy Friday everyone!!!Updated on 29 Mar 2013:Hi everyone!! We are officially one week away from surgery!! I am sooo excited and nervous at the same time. I think I've told maybe 1 of my friends and a co-worker. I want to surprise everyone and see of the notice the change. Also I'm going to one of my best friends wedding up north the first weekend of June I can't wait to show off the new nose! Updates to come throughout the week!!Updated on 4 Apr 2013:Well friends I am officially less than 24 hours away from my procedure. I'm starting to get nervous and anxious. Thank goodness ill be able to take a Valium this evening. My procedure is set for 2pm and I hope I will be able to contain myself all morning. I have everything ready for after so I'm hoping I will be comfortable. Updates to come!!!Updated on 5 Apr 2013:T-minus an hour and a half until I check in. Getting a little more nervous I'm sure the butterflies really won't kick in until I arrive at Dr. Hass's office. The Valium defiantly helped last night I'm hoping it will help me during healing along with my other medications. Updates to come!! Wish me luck!! XoxoUpdated on 6 Apr 2013:Well I finally had my procedure yesterday. Leading up to it I was a little nervous but honestly my mom and fiancé were more nervous Than I was. I got to the office and my nurse went to put the iV in, well I have rolling veins so the anesthesiologist tried and got it. I have a iV to hydrate me since I hadn't eaten now for 8 hours, then they gave me 2 other injections in one was to keep me calm and the other I don't remember. I do remember having a allergic reaction and my arm started getting a rash on it. So they gave me Benadryl and I was out. Next thing I know they walk me into the operating room and tell me sweet dreams and I wake up. I'm horrible at coming out of anisthisia and I wouldn't open my eyes. I remember my fiancé carrying me out and then I'm at home to my mom and him feeding me matza ball soup. It still took me a shoe to open my eyes but I was awake and in no pain. I went to bed and slept great and am now sitting up in bed relaxing. I feel great minus not being able to breath out my nose. I get to take out my packing this evening I think I'll be able to breath once its out. Updates to come... Ooo and I posted a pretty new picture of me, sorry about the messy hair and the bit of bruising!Updated on 8 Apr 2013:Well we are now on day 4 since my surgery and the bruising is going away but I'm rather swollen between my eyes and on my forehead. I have zero pain if anything I just want to be able to breath better through my nose. I started the ocean spray wash today and it has helped minimally with the congestion. However after spraying I clean my nasal passages with a q-tip and Vaseline and I got a bloody nose. That really scared me but everything is OK now. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be able to breath much easier. I go back to work on Wednesday and I need to be able to talk in the phone with clients and breath normally!!Updated on 18 Apr 2013:Well everyone it's been almost two weeks and I couldn't be happier!! My nose looks awesome and the swelling is soo minimal, my dr was very pleased when I saw him yesterday. I posted a photo of my new nose as of today. This procedure is well worth the time off work and the little discomfort that comes along with it.
My nose came out better than it was but not great. He was not warm or pleasant, rather he made me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy. He was not available for any questions after my consult and payment (even though my appointment with him was rushed and I didn't think he even knew what I wanted- and obviously, he did not); his office told me he would speak to me prior to surgery. Never happened. The nurse started the IV and next thing I knew I woke up delirious and was being ushered out the back door to my car. It was such a cold and factory-like experience. Fortunately, I did not go ahead with anything else on my face. I went to Dr. Steiger in Boca who only does faces (I should never have trusted my nose with someone who does everything- I should have sought out a face specialist)- I got my nose repaired and then my whole face done and the experience was the complete opposite- warm, compassionate, highly-skilled, friendly office where you're not treated like the only thing that matters is your money. I see other people left favorable reviews for Haas. Maybe if I didn't know better and go elsewhere, I would not know how it's supposed to be... or maybe he just had an issue with me personally (from the few minutes he bothered to spend with me). Either way- not ok.
We have many patients who come to us for the exact same issue. In fact, some may have even already had tummy tucks, but still have some fat in that area. We have 4 certified technicians in our FreezeMyFatFL center in Palm Beach Gardens and are proud to say we've done well over 5000 treatments. We've had 3 machines since 2013 and have done treatments on this area many times. Some patients will need 2 treatments to the area, as results are generally seen within 12 weeks and patients have different expectations. During a complimentary consultation our technicians can evaluate whether you would be a candidate or not, and if not, there are 2 plastic surgeons on staff to offer other procedures if needed.
Cosmetic procedures, including Coolsculpting are not reimbursable with insurance. You may be able to use a Health Savings credit card to pay for treatments in a physicians office, but I have NEVER heard of insurance playing a part in covering Coolsculpting.
Coolsculpting can be performed on the upper arm area. It is non-invasive and the FIT applicator would be used. A typical candidate is one that has pinch-able fat, not just loose skin. Similar to other parts of the body best suited for this procedure, Coolsculpting will permanently reduce a fatty area, but not always tighten skin. In some cases, patients may need to do this treatment a couple times for maximum results. Treatments would be spaced out appropriately. If a patient is more concerned with the looseness of arm skin i.e. after weight loss) then Coolsculpting would NOT be recommended, but an arm lift or 'brachioplasty' procedure is a more proper alternative, but it is surgery. In our office, we offer not only 4 certified and well experienced CoolSculpting technicians, but we also have 3 plastic surgeons on staff for those better suited for plastic surgery.
As other doctors have explained, it is best to wait until you are well healed from any abdominal surgery (3 - 6 months) before pursuing any type of cosmetic procedures, especially CoolSculpting. Check with the surgeon that did your surgery and choose appropriate CoolSculpting techniqcians that have had experience.
The Coolsculpting procedure results technically should be permanent. In fact, most of our patients see a reduction of anywhere from 20 - 30 % in the area. Of course, patients may gain weight, but it may be dispersed in another area of their body. For the stomach area, if you truly have that squeezable fat, you are most likely a good candidate for CoolSculpting, unless what you're squeezing is mostly skin. If the belly area is harder - you may have visceral fat underneath your abdominal muscle that is not corrected with cosmetic procedures, but strictly your diet. In our center, we have three machines and 4 well-trained CoolSculpting technicians who can evaluate whether you're a good candidate for this non-invasive fat reduction method or whether a cosmetic procedure such as liposuction or tummy tuck is better suited.
