Post-Pregnancy Procedures
A mommy makeover is not just one procedure, but a customized combination performed together, to help a woman restore her body after childbirth. In my Chicago offices, a mommy makeover is a popular procedure because it allows new moms to regain their pre-baby appearance, prioritizing their specific needs and desired outcome. It also only requires one recovery period, which makes it more convenient for busy moms. A mommy makeover typically targets loose skin, separated abdominal muscles, sagging breasts, and excess fat. The mommy makeovers I perform usually include some combination of a tummy tuck, breast lift and/or augmentation, butt lift, liposuction, and labiaplasty. This is a great option for women who are done having children and maintaining a healthy post-pregnancy weight. The results can be transformational.
Breast Surgery
Whether you want to increase the size of your natural breasts or give your bust a firmer, more lifted appearance, breast augmentation at my Chicago area offices can help enhance your natural contours. Patients of all ages and body types who are unhappy with the size and shape of their breasts come to me for breast implant surgery. During a consultation, I spend time with each patient to align on the best implant size, as well the right placement and shape to create the most natural-looking results. My patients range from just wanting to increase the size of their natural breasts to those who have lost volume due to age, and those who have asymmetrical breasts and want to balance out their proportions.
Abdominoplasty
While diet and exercise are key to a healthy and toned midsection, factors like genetics, age, pregnancy, and extreme weight loss can cause excess skin and loose muscles, preventing you from achieving tight abs on your own. In those cases, I recommend a tummy tuck (or abdominoplasty). This common procedure at my Chicago practice involves removing excess skin and fat while tightening loose abdominal muscles via a discreetly placed incision that’s concealed at the bikini line. The procedure can be combined with liposuction, to create an even more defined silhouette. The result is a tauter abdomen and more defined waistline, for an overall more contoured and trim appearance.

Dr. Ashpole is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery - General. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and has been named one of Castle Connolly’s Regional Top Doctors as well as Chicago Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2021. He was also recognized for his teaching accomplishments, with an induction into the prestigious Leo M. Davidoff Society.
